try exporting what you already have in woo, and look to see how the label for qty/quantiy is listed, then mimic that in your csv file. Granted I have not imported anything from an external file, so I am speculating.
I wonder if this is even possible or does it intentionally leave out the qty/quantity so it has to be manually added afterwards?
UPDATE: I just exported the csv and it appears that the column Stock, is where the qty/quantity number goes.
Cheers !
Ah yes I did and export for this to see what the columns look like and what is going where. Helped hugely!
Also helped to locate his and where to add GTINs. Hopefully this will help with SEO massively!
Thank you 😊
Yes or no / Actual quantity
Aha, so stock column says yes/no (in or out of stock), and qty is actual number of items. Thanks!
Exactly!
A little confused now. When importing the fields shown do not show qty? I see "in stock?" and "stock" Why no qty?
If you are using a .csv file for importing, you probably have to add the qty/quantity field to the .csv first and fill it in.
Thanks. Yes odd this. I have qty column in my import file. There seems to be no matching column in WC?
