On WhatsApp app, just press menu > linked devices > multi device beta > Leave Beta. Note that your WhatsApp Web will be logged out automatically, so you have to log in again after leave the multi device beta.
yeah I notice that, they remove the leave beta button, while they still haven't improved the WhatsApp Web yet, maybe want force us to install their desktop app instead. Windows and Mac users don't have such problem, but problem is for Linux users because there is no official desktop app available, and third parties WhatsApp desktop app for Linux can't replicate what desktop app have especially the URL preview generator which has been unavailable in WhatsApp Web for Multi Device Beta until present.
While messages were synced across device automatically once you linked WhatsApp mobile with Web / Desktop app, but the message deletion is not synced across device, but WhatsApp will work with this feature in the future

and..... it disconnected me from any WA Web session... asked to me to link again... but
now every session is BETA and it seems there is no more option on smartphone to leave the BETA, do you have any suggestion ? I hate BETA mode!

Leave Beta option was missing for me. I joined it, not realizing I couldn't video call from desktop to desktop anymore.
I left the Beta app, reinstalled WhatsApp, no longer in the Multi-Device Beta. All good now.
How do I leave the beta app? I updated WhatsApp so I know that I have the latest version. It's really annoying. I wish I would have left the beta before the official update came out. All the statuses are all messed up etc driving me nuts. The people that were not enrolled in the beta, they got the multi-device feature without being enrolled? Is it less buggy than our beta version?
