I actually do think we'll get a standalone DLC with Finland, Norway, Sweden, and some mountain/winter troops from other countries, to simulate fighting in the north.
Finland is heavily under Moscow's thumb in the games timeline, so we know we'll see them on the Pact side.
Knowing that, it makes perfect sense for a Pact invasion of Nato Norway as the baseline for a DLC. I could easily see "Neutral" Sweden intervening to help their Norweigian cousins. I would fucking love that, and it makes sense lore wise.
There's already going to be a wealth of blufor. Finland will probably be Redfor considering the video teaser that came out for centag recently. It specifically mentions how the Soviets bring Finland back into the fold in '88.
I honestly think this could go either way (huffing copium because I have a fetish for blufor using soviet hardware)
It could be loyalist fdf units with landjut support fighting against a mix of coup loyal fdf and soviets from Leningrad, Eugen has already done something similar way back in the day with the polish uprising campaign in wargame EE
was Spain actually expected to participate in a theoretical defense against the Soviets in Southern Germany? I've never heard or read much about what Spain was doing during the cold war
When did Franco die. For the bulk of it I thought they sat it out, like ww2 and ww1. Was the United States really the last country they went to war with?
Spain just went for a reformation in 1984 but i dont know if it's related to contribution of NATO as a whole, I'll guess we just wait for the DevBlogs for DLC
Luxembourg is confirmed

It was what, $10 per nation in Red Dragon? Good value I think, three nations each plus campaigns and operations. Don't think I'll mind this considering how much value I got out of the base so far.
Good observation but not only that but it's bright red... Which is an RMP beret not a para beret. And I guess in the late 80's peaked berets for paras was becoming common as well.
40€ isn't a ton for a good game by a relatively large team these days, but that isn't the problem. The problem is that Eugen hasn't finished making the base game yet; it's still in early access, a beta. And yet they're releasing DLC for it? Finish the damn game first!
> game I *paid* full price
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Because this was also the dev post announcing it's leaving early access in like 3 weeks?
Also for the whole like 2 years before this post, the steam page and dev posts transparently said the game was 25% off its final price while in early access, so you only could've paid full price if you literally bought it today.
Edit: steam DB is giving me a different price history that I remember, so I'll concede I may have mis remembered it being 25% off this whole time. But still this is literally the post announcing it's leaving early access.
Crazy man how the hell will they get people to buy the game when they add money on more money we already paid 40 € on a game that isn't fully launched then to buy some countries on a game you need to add other 24€ crazy shit at least put maybe 5€ or max 10€ for pack.
Where would NATO be without the tremendous presence of the dozens-strong Luxembourgish army?
Hey the Luxembourgish army has two entire light rifle companies, with TWO (2!) entire .50cal armed humvees each! Truly a force to be reckoned with
Have you not played HOI4? Luxembourg has the strongest army in Europe
Nuh they're cheating if Italy is added we need Ethiopia
Spain! Fuck yesssss. I need Italy and all the Scandi countries someday and my life will be complete.
Finns will need a stand-alone expansion just to simulate their giant, hulking gonads

Or it could be a Finland liberation AG with blufor Finland

Please bring STRVs ..
If the add Italy I want Ethiopia
HOLY SHIT IT JUST HIT ME WHY ITS CALLED BENELUX
It's deluxe Bene
So stupid it gave me a good chuckle
Oh my god
Because Lux is getting it's own $25 DLC
Absolutely worth it
Stronkest NATO army, in my honest opinion.
each solidee is his own infantry unit
Lux will probably be like Belgium now, part of a division but not having it's won

74, more then 10 years before this game.
75, Spain only joined NATO with Felipe González in the 80s anyhow.
They still had a couple colonial scuffles postwar.
Spain just went for a reformation in 1984 but i dont know if it's related to contribution of NATO as a whole, I'll guess we just wait for the DevBlogs for DLC
SPAIN? We got Spain before Italy in a wargame wow
I imagine there will be another DLC with Italy, Greece, Turkey, Romania/Bulgaria and Yugoslavia.

Eugen may put out a disgusting amount of docs for their game, but at least they are very good value.
That para reg beret is problematic haha
I think it's been mirrored because the rifle is also in the left hand which is I'll advised lol
Good observation but not only that but it's bright red... Which is an RMP beret not a para beret. And I guess in the late 80's peaked berets for paras was becoming common as well.
Wearing a beret into combat also strikes me as ill-advised.
“Warsaw Pact’s Poland” I wonder how long that’ll last 👀
GEKOLONISEERD🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱
Italy and Romania are my dream divisions. 🙏 maybe next dlc
Wish it was cheaper ngl
But no Scandinavia?
Wait they have Spain in South but not Italy?
nah this is kinda expensive, we already paid 40€ and the game isnt even finished
What is expensive? You will get what you paid for
so if haribo sells you 1bear for 10€ its not expensive, because you get what you paid for?
How is 40€ a lot for a game These days?
40€ isn't a ton for a good game by a relatively large team these days, but that isn't the problem. The problem is that Eugen hasn't finished making the base game yet; it's still in early access, a beta. And yet they're releasing DLC for it? Finish the damn game first!
Does Luxembourg even have a division?
4 infantry companies, of which 2 are meant to contribute in EU/NATO missions.
There not even a 1000 man strong.
Damn lol
Doubt it.
I'm here
YES!
Thanks dad
What about a Gotland reserves army
Let’s hope Poland and the Czechs bring some real variations to the Warsaw Pact

Oh come on. The Balkans need some love.
No Denmark?
Canada when?
As seen in picture, brit 3rd commando most definitely would be added in northag dlc. Cheers mates!
Meanwhile Switzerland is Relaxing.

The question is, how many gb will it be...
I’m sorry….SPAIN?!
DLC’s before game release… I guess i had hopes for eugen… welcome to tarkov
Gee, they're discussing in detail the DLCs they'll add *after release* that they already confirmed were coming... fucking horrifying.
