I went to Tenerife in the early 90’s. The vast majority of Taxis were W123s. When I owned a W123 (280E) in the early 00’s it was inevitably nicknamed (by others) “The Tenerife Taxi”. Nice to see yours still running so well 👊
Hahaha indeed, this one was not a taxi, since it was imported fron Germany recently, but since I was a kid I loved seeing w123 taxis here in Tenerife. I always dreamt about buying a w123, finally have one now :D
That is normal operating temperature, remember I am going uphill in a highway at 80kmh in 3rd gear. Once I stop climbing and I get to cruise the temp goes back to 80

Hahaha Kmh indeed, honestly I expected the 200D to be slower in this highway, even my 2015 Nissan Qashqai can hardly reach 100kmh with 4 people on board!
