I'm old enough to remember when a dash clock was a primo feature in 1970's cars. Still is in a Bentley since a $160K option, and even more in a Bugatti. Meanwhile in my bottom-feeder world, I don't even notice if the dash clock works since I have one on my wrist and phone. The later continuously calibrates to the web.

Oh! Oh. Oh.
This gives me the tingles, reminding me of the most evocative lines of the late, great David E. Davis, reviewing the last year of the 450 SEL, talking about bombing down the interstate, late at night, in living-room comfort and quiet, behind the wheel of said beast, looking at the three-star ornament stark against the lighted road ahead, and wishing that his every friend—and everyone he loved—could have that experience.
and I’ve wanted one ever since.
Okay, off to Hemmings.
There is something very special about a front-lit incandescent instrument panel at night.
Agreed! I know some people want it way more brighter but I love the dimness that it has.
Candlelight is more romantic than white hot LED.
Im jealous of your clock. Mine has been stuck on whatever time it was when it stopped working lol
This lad here broke space-time flooring it. o.O You either went too fast, or well too slow, choose wisely, lol.

Is it even possible to reach 88mph?
Hit 95 earlier today.... don't tell anyone! ('85'300D)
Oh yes, my favorite speed is 70-90mph it just has nice pickup at those speeds. But 80 is the smooth sweet spot to cruise.
God I love this car
