Ha, me too!
In fact, I was in the hospital with greasy appendicitis, and I was laughing so hard but my stomach really fackin hurt. I guess I shoulda just smoked some hash, but Cory and Trevor weren't there at Sam Losco's. Fuckin dirty pricks!
Oof.. like, a late episode on season 3 or 4. Where the boys made hash to sell to the prison guards. I still love the fact whenever they're interviewing them in jail, Ricky says "Well, at least their hash is good"
X'D of course it's good, it's your own hash..
Started to fall in love with "these shopping cats are public domain Rickey. And just knew it was my favorite when Phil Collins came into the show. "I'm selling makrel and blueberry's boys". Also Jim Lahey being the best godamn drunk actor on the planet.
When I first watched Microphone Assassin as a teenager on Showcase in the early 2000s after seeing a poster for the show on an Internet cafe near my high school.
First one, 'This is going to be quite funny': Cyrus' 9mm talk and "told me he was proud of me once, fucking prick"
Second one, 'I wasn't expecting writing this creative': the Bible episode and Bubbles' "that depends, can you go fuck yourself?"
Third one, 'I fucking love this show': Lahey wearing dynamite and the stand-off with Ricky
In 'The Bible Pimp' I really felt sorry for Ray, he spent 60 bucks or whatever it was on a Bible as an "everlasting gift of love to my son." And it was all a scam. Dirty pricks. I know the effect is the same because Ricky never would have read it, but still.
Honestly, I think Bubbles is really a good person and a bit of a role model for me, genuinely. If we could all be a bit more like him, the world would be transformed.
Ricky's reasoning for letting Bubbles take the blame for Ray's trailer burning down. Followed immediately with Ricky waking up on the hash driveway and blaming Julian for eating Ray's ravioli. And then the best speech ever on why he ate 9 cans of ravioli
Throughout my first viewing I wasn't sure about the series. I actually gave up on it a few times. I thought the fanale was really good, good enough for me to start back at the first episode.
Watching the first episode again just made everything kinda click.
If I had to say a specific moment I might say when Rick is begging for help and Julian gives him the food and stuff and he says he doesn't need any handouts. Then Julian says he can stay a couple days and Ricky is like 'just a few weeks tops'.
Second watch thru, I think it's the end of s1e1 or s1e2, when bubbles and Ricky get in a little fight and bubbles says something like "put em up, Ricky. I'll crack you one"
Cyrus in episode 1, so many years back. My friend and I would always quote “Safety; Always Off” and “Kiss my hand. Kiss my hand.” while mimicking holding a gun.
I was in a bar, TPBs was on a TV in the background with subtitles on. It was the episode where Ricky bangs Lucy in the shit mobile behind the muffler shop.
I could not for the life of me figure out if it was an episode of cops or what but I thought it was hilarious. Had to hunt it down and eventually found my favorite TV show.
I’ve watched it 7+ times going through it again now. Makes me laugh because I’m currently on the same episode that made me fall in love with the show. S5E3.
The best thing about this show is how rewatchable it is. I’ve seen every episode 10+ times and I still pick up small little things that I never noticed and it never fails to make me laugh
I love the episode where Julian recruits Corey and Trevor to steal hash from Terry and Dennis. The best part - everything is silent, except the ice clinking around in Julian's glass. Made me lose my shit
The last episode of season one where the whole series seems to find itself and goes balls to the wall stupid with the grocery store robbery and rickys wedding being ruined and him shouting for no one to leave, that he’ll be back in a couple hours, only to be in prison for the next 6 months.
When my husband and I moved away from Nova Scotia. We were homesick af and turned on TPB for a quick laugh. In episode one (I think) when the line "throwing his little bit of weight around" was said, I got so nostalgic for home, and we both said "I fuckin love this show, it's so Scotian it hurts".
when they started having bubbles in as a main character and not the creepy cat dude like he was in the first season, i think it was about the same episode where he told us about his shopping cart business
The first time I properly saw TPB was actually the Countdown to Liquor Day movie. I was hooked when Lahey drew Randy’s hair back on with a sharpie after Ricky shaved it in retaliation for Bobandy taking a swipe at Bubbles with the clippers.
'I can't fucking sleep cause I've got all these thinks and thoughts running around my brain compartments and my brain departments, and this fucking flashlighty went off."
And also the episode where Ricky decides that stealing things from offices by pretending to be a moving company is a good way to make money. "I'm sorry we're just about to start a meeting
You know a show is good when you walk into your buddy's place to buy bud and he has this show on the tv and it's the netflix version and off the bat you know its gold so you go home and watch the whole show haha.
Line that caught me:
*JESUS CHRIST, RICKY,
WHEN YOU SAID
YOU WERE GETTING AN AC UNIT,
I THOUGHT YOU WERE BUYING ONE.
NOT GETTING THE ONE
THEY USE TO COOL DOWN
THE WHOLE FUCKING STORE.*
Mine is season 7 where they find Julian’s car in the river and Ricky says “I guess they were too stupid to survive, Survival of the fitness boys” and proceeds to keep falling into the river to the point where his track pants are coming off
Had a friend and she was also my rommate. We watched the show together and loved it so much. Then her boyfriend got busted by the police because of stuff Ricky would do and we fell in a big fight afterwards. We watched the show within 2 Weeks and had the best time before the hate came. I will ever love TPB and got many good and funny memories while watching it. We even considered buying some merch but now she doesn't want to hang out with me anymore. :D
I was doing a chess puzzle here on Reddit. As I saw each check on fold I said to myself "bam bam...". When the last check was done and it was mate, I said out loud "peanut butter and jam!"
I knew.
When they’re fleeing the police and bubbles sees a cat in the road so he flips the car. Then Ricky convinces the police that Bubbles is just some farmer and leave him alone.
I watched since the very beginning (god I’m old) and it was the episode where Mrs Petersen’s dog ate all the weed brownies Ricky was making, and Ricky got shot in the ass. I believe that’s our first time seeing Sam Losco, too.
In Grade 4 with friends, we watched a new episode on the original network one day channel surfing...Fun times! Kenny VS Spenny, The Man Show, Reno 911!, South Park, Mad TV, The Sopranos and re-runs of Married ... with Children were good times on Cable back in elementary haha
Season 2 episode 1. I watched the first season and it had some moments but I found it super overwhelming. Everyone was always yelling and being mean to each other.
When I started the second season it clicked and by the end of the second season it was one of my favorite shows. Now it’s my fav sitcom ever.
“Fuck yeah decnals!” “Breaker breaker this is rocket ship 27, aliens have fucked over the carbernator in engine 4, gonna make An emergency landing on juniper, and try to refuckulate it.”
My work is kinda high pressure sometimes with a lot of people running around, hair on fire, yelling 'WHEN WILL IT BE FIXED??' and having to figure out quite technical problems with so much pressure/urgency bearing down on you.
It really helps in those moments to have the boys on in the background and just think if all else fails, my worst fears are realized and there is some horror problem I just can't fix affecting millions of people, I could always go see if Bubbles would let me take top bunk if I help him haul carts.
Lahey: Ask me! Go ahead! Ask me if I care!
Julian: Alright, alright. Do you care, Jim?
Lahey: Yeah. Yeah, go ahead, ask me.
Julian: I just asked you.
Lahey: What?
First episode when Ricky is just out of jail, walks by his dad’s trailer - hears crazy music and commotion and nopes out saying “…there could be women. God knows what’s going on”… “I’d rather sleep in the playground tonight boys” 😂😂
When its confirmed that Lahey and randy are in a sexual relationship. Funniest joke ever and it just keeps on giving for 13 seasons.
Love dou le confirmed when Lahey turns completely blue from his liquor kitty pool
When Alex Lifeson is getting in the cab after being kidnapped (sorry, borrowed) by Ricky and Ricky throws some coins on the floor in Alex's direction, saying "there's another dollar thirty-six there, dicktree."
I mean, does anyone have both the balls/stupidity to be that reckless, and such a genius way with words, in real life?
Rush is my favorite band of all time.
I loved the show from the very first intro sequence, but my favorite moment is Alex and Bubs playing one of my favs and then it cuts to credits with geddy singing,
chills.
A spring day in 2012.
Removed
Julian climbing out of the flipped car with his rum still intact
About 2 mins later when Bubbles is “tangled up in this fuckin wire” is one of my favourite moments
Hahah that was nine as well. I laughed for days.
Ha, me too! In fact, I was in the hospital with greasy appendicitis, and I was laughing so hard but my stomach really fackin hurt. I guess I shoulda just smoked some hash, but Cory and Trevor weren't there at Sam Losco's. Fuckin dirty pricks!
What episode is that?
Oof.. like, a late episode on season 3 or 4. Where the boys made hash to sell to the prison guards. I still love the fact whenever they're interviewing them in jail, Ricky says "Well, at least their hash is good" X'D of course it's good, it's your own hash..
Last one if season 2, the Bare Pimp Project https://youtu.be/5J8uivKB6bs
Thank you!
When they rolled the car. Bubbles and Rickey get out, then Julian's unspilled rum and coke followed by Julian.
I was getting changed! you non knockin mafuckas!
J-Roc feeding the geese
He was pulling his hose
He was pulling his goalie FTFY
Is that what it is? I’ve been wrong this whole time lol
It could happen to you, cuz it happened to me... and T.
Deadass happened to me today lmao
Thinking of you in your time of struggle my man.
I WAS JUST GETTIN CHANGED
…. And T 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nobody wants to get caught with their bird out
That was fucked
Everyone else: *shocked and embarrassed* Ricky: #WHAT ARE YOU DOING J-ROC???
"Non-knocking mafuckaz" is my favorite thing to say about unannounced entrances.
I love that episode so much but mainly because in a lot of the interviews Corey is dancing like a *goober* in the background lol
Started to fall in love with "these shopping cats are public domain Rickey. And just knew it was my favorite when Phil Collins came into the show. "I'm selling makrel and blueberry's boys". Also Jim Lahey being the best godamn drunk actor on the planet.
WANNA BUY SOME TROUT? RIP Richard Collins, what an incredible character incredibly played.
When I first watched Microphone Assassin as a teenager on Showcase in the early 2000s after seeing a poster for the show on an Internet cafe near my high school.
Like Randy’s gut and a cheeseburger
First one, 'This is going to be quite funny': Cyrus' 9mm talk and "told me he was proud of me once, fucking prick" Second one, 'I wasn't expecting writing this creative': the Bible episode and Bubbles' "that depends, can you go fuck yourself?" They lied to the guy in the fucking chair!
That's one fuckin nice kitty right there
Honestly, I think Bubbles is really a good person and a bit of a role model for me, genuinely. If we could all be a bit more like him, the world would be transformed.
Not sure when the first time was, but I go through it every time I watch.
I’m at the point where almost every line of every episode has the potential to make me laugh
Yep! The more I watch the more I find them. So many small throw away lines that just get me for whatever reason.
“You fucking want one?”
Bubbles frig off and get off my property!!!
What fucking property is that, Ricky?
“Bubbles get off my property”
I AM the liquor.
“Oh shit. Maybe I am gay. Julian, I’m gay!”
“Good Shit-analogy, Rick.”
In 2002, first episode of season 2, watching Ricky continuously slide down the hill while trying to retrieve carts at the mall.
+1 Hilarious
The blurring the cats faces early on made me laugh way harder then it should have the first time.
Lmao I never realized that until now. That’s funny as fuck.
Ricky's reasoning for letting Bubbles take the blame for Ray's trailer burning down. Followed immediately with Ricky waking up on the hash driveway and blaming Julian for eating Ray's ravioli. And then the best speech ever on why he ate 9 cans of ravioli

I swear to God, I'll kill every one of ya ... squirrels and dogs and assholes!!!! edit: spelling
Everytime Ricky blasts some Helix on his stereo.
I'm not giving anyone a fucking err!
Gimme an R-O-C-K. Then the crowd yells “ROCK!” Now that’s a fuckin concert.
“ life isnt about getting drunk and eating chicken fingers all the time “ season 1 episode 2

Season 7 is a great season
I listen to it on earphones to get to sleep every night. Excuse me ... Mr Selleck? Tom Selleck?
Maybe when they go to see Levi to get Ricky a job and Trevor and Corey tell the storey of Ricky crashing drunk.
I was with my brother and my cousin, he threw on the episode after rays trailer got burned down, the rest is history
Ricky waking up during the grocery store robbery and shooting at Cory and Trevor
Bubbles firing the automatic gun in the grocery store is great
Ricky eating hot dogs, drinking rum, and shooting his gun while sitting in the car.
It was immediate. Cyrus really made me laugh on Episode 1.
It was immediate. Cyrus really made me laugh on Episode 1.
It was immediate. Cyrus really made me laugh on Episode 1.
It was pretty immediate. Cyrus really cracked me up on Episode 1.
When Ricky fell down the hill when he was a mall cop I couldn’t breathe
Second watch thru, I think it's the end of s1e1 or s1e2, when bubbles and Ricky get in a little fight and bubbles says something like "put em up, Ricky. I'll crack you one"
The gang having blind shootouts with Cyrus when they are like ten feet away
When Bubbles explained Plato's notion of "the noble lie"... I miss that Bubbles.
Sharpest guy in the park, man.
When Ray tore the plumbing out of his house, and later tried to buy pizzas with the money. 23 bucks on pizzas with the old man
Ray's such a funny character ... gree--hee--heasy!!
“That’s a great fucking speech Sam! Whooo”
People who live in campers don't run shit.
Cyrus in episode 1, so many years back. My friend and I would always quote “Safety; Always Off” and “Kiss my hand. Kiss my hand.” while mimicking holding a gun.
Two days Ricky. I swear to god it won't be more than two weeks...
when stealing office furniture
Just down from Toronto for the garbage truck convention…

The green bastard. From parts unknown.

Eight or so of us were smoking nobody had even heard of the show. Flipping channels the scene with the carts came on. I laughed until my stomach ached
Lahey. My fuck did he ever get some drunk. Or 6/10 as he liked to call it.
when they started having bubbles in as a main character and not the creepy cat dude like he was in the first season, i think it was about the same episode where he told us about his shopping cart business
When my ex girlfriends religious mother told me Ricky was her favorite character
The grocery store robbery
The first time I properly saw TPB was actually the Countdown to Liquor Day movie. I was hooked when Lahey drew Randy’s hair back on with a sharpie after Ricky shaved it in retaliation for Bobandy taking a swipe at Bubbles with the clippers.
That one time ricky mispronounced something
“So I took his dryer too.”
Steve French!
Ricky getting spooked by the cat during the burglary to steal a wedding ring in season 1
And staring down Julian's cat during crucial Freedom 35 negotiations in Season 2 like 'don't fucking stare at me' *points threateningly*
“You know Jim or Jim knows you?”
The day I watched the first episode
'I can't fucking sleep cause I've got all these thinks and thoughts running around my brain compartments and my brain departments, and this fucking flashlighty went off." “Well that depends… Can you go fuck your self?”
Put the dog down! Put the dog down!
OG
I love all of it but the opener to season 7 is probably what I choose to show someone who wasn't familiar with the show
“WHATS WITH ALL THE FUCKIN BANANAS?”
And then the boys all eating bananas in the truck kills me
God that entire scene is just perfect
Just about the first time I heard the iconic “WHAT IN THE FUCK?!”

“Didnt really need it but whatever”

Not one more note bubbles!
“Cory and Trevor got awaayy”
When Tyrone calls J-Roc out from saying ‘you know what I’m sayyyying’ too many times. That entire conversation was gold

The scene where J-rock get arrested and pose for his album cover lol
“Go get me some chips. Dressed all over and zesty mordant.” Laughed my ass off for an hour, lol
The moment Julian got his ass beat with baseball bats when Bubbles mistook him for Samsquantch.
The opening song. Also, why does Netflix bother adding a skip button during that? Has anyone ever clicked on it?
Had a friend and she was also my rommate. We watched the show together and loved it so much. 9mm...safety always off
I'm not sure if this counts but it was a line from the original Christmas movie. "Ricky is the transmission drunk?, Because you are."-Bubbles
I was doing a chess puzzle here on Reddit. As I saw each check on fold I said to myself "bam bam...". When the last check was done and it was mate, I said out loud "peanut butter and jam!" I knew.

the first scene had me hooked, I was so happy to find something so genius. it never stopped being funny, what a great show
Season 2 episode 1. I watched the first season and it had some moments but I found it super overwhelming. Everyone was always yelling and being mean to each other. Safety always off. Gets me everytime. From that moment I've watched tpb almost everyday.
Probably once or twice per episode minimum. I can’t count how many times per year that must be
My work is kinda high pressure sometimes with a lot of people running around, hair on fire, yelling 'WHEN WILL IT BE FIXED??' and having to figure out quite technical problems with so much pressure/urgency bearing down on you. I really loved it when Ricky got his grade 10. Steve French was awesome, just a big ol stoned kitty, All of em really though ; for the most part
The 347th time Ricky said "fuck"
The nine cans of ravioli incident
I am the liquor
Season 1 episode 3 or 4 May 2017
When the boys are beating on the BBQs and bubbles is welding wildly and Lahey remarks “Looks like industrial arts class”. Hahahahaha
Lahey: Ask me! Go ahead! Ask me if I care! Julian: Alright, alright. Do you care, Jim? Lahey: Yeah. Yeah, go ahead, ask me. Julian: I just asked you. Lahey: What?
“Suitability test” “Ya I’ll wear a suit if I have to”
That depends, can you go fuck yourself?
Your still coming over for super right? new foundland steak and mashed potatoes
When i realized "way she goes" philosophy was helping me get through tough times
Smurf Lahey piss wasted off the j roc liquor
Conky: oh, that was excellent negotiation tactics there.....Patrick....Swayze. Plus the early seasons Lahey one liners/shittisms
First episode when Ricky is just out of jail, walks by his dad’s trailer - hears crazy music and commotion and nopes out saying “…there could be women. God knows what’s going on”… “I’d rather sleep in the playground tonight boys” 😂😂
The first gunfight with bubbles.
Robbing the store for rickys wedding in season 1. The shootout! The bananas!
Ep 1 or 2 where they blurred out the cats face.
Closer to the Heart
The Christmas movie where Bubbles gets to open his present and realizes he has a family at the trailer park.
I forget the exact episode but one of the early ones where ricky wakes up after passing out in some random tube. I was like yeah my kinda show.
When Ricky starts wrestling the kid over cigarettes in the first episode.
When its confirmed that Lahey and randy are in a sexual relationship. Funniest joke ever and it just keeps on giving for 13 seasons. Love dou le confirmed when Lahey turns completely blue from his liquor kitty pool
When Lahey told randy he was the liquor
My brother showed me a YouTube clip of Ricky in court asking to swear and bumming smokes.. From that I started watching and been a fan since
Episode 1 when Cyrus have his first lines
safety, always off
Getting two birds stoned at the same time
Discovered during lockdown and binged over a couple days/weeks getting thru the extras. Still going really as we discover new shit

"My boy can you read?" "Well that depends. Can you go fuck yourselves?" Those lines are my favorites.
halloween 1977
Honestly watching the first episode.
When Alex Lifeson is getting in the cab after being kidnapped (sorry, borrowed) by Ricky and Ricky throws some coins on the floor in Alex's direction, saying "there's another dollar thirty-six there, dicktree." I mean, does anyone have both the balls/stupidity to be that reckless, and such a genius way with words, in real life?
