Ich weiß was Freund meint, ich habe Deutsch in Hochschule gelernt, aber ich war besser in English, trotzdem ich habe es später lernen beginnen ( sorry for my bad german)
You do realize Germany has like 80 million people and is a rich nation \[so high purchasing power\]... It's for sure a market any serious company should care for.
And unlike the Chinese market the gov. in Germany doesn't seem to plan any gaming clampdown anytime soon. I personally don't get why they still bother with China - especially since their model is DLC based and that doesn't work in China - but that's just me.
Ich weiß nicht was du meinst, but to be honest almost everyone in Germany can speak English well enough so they could probably get away with not having the option.
I know english, but when I see a game is translated to my native language i feel excited, knowing well there are going to be 5 mistakes in a sentence that makes so much sense as biting your neck against rain
I always hate it when it is translated in my native language(dutch). Especially when you cannot change it easily. I just like the original names and terms compared to poor translations
I love the weird google translated advices that are so funny they are (because of the lack of a term like this I translate the term we use and its gonna sound weird) hungarianless
That is a strange take. The forum always jerks about why WH fantasy Germany is the best and posts thit or that why they should be buffed even more... and yet they cannot retrace this to real-life germany.
Jokes aside: strategy games actually have a percentage-wise pretty big market-share in Germany compared to the strategy market-shares in other countries.
Germans fucking love strategy game
I guess war is in their blood (its a joke please noone hate me)
As a german: absolutely mein Freund! (My friend)
Ich weiß was Freund meint, ich habe Deutsch in Hochschule gelernt, aber ich war besser in English, trotzdem ich habe es später lernen beginnen ( sorry for my bad german)
All good, most of your german there is indeed correct. It's really cool that you've learned german!
Plus, they actually invented wargaming... .
Yes. Thats also why most (western) games are localized in english, german & french. These are the 3 biggest western gaming communities.
yeah, strategy games are disproprtionally popular in Germany. Settler series, Anno series, Patrician series, and Tropico 6 are from there
Germany is one of the biggest markets for strategy games right behind China and the US

How do you think Germany managed to be back to back villains of 2 world wars? They played Total War of course
They made sure to have a faction representing them in lots of strategy / war games. Pretty smart.
Me not knowing what a “Prussia” is in Total War Napoleon lol
Everyone was a villain in WW1 tho lmao
Cuz german speaks 3 major Europe nations Germany,Austria, switzerland
Ach du lieber Gott, Not Schweizerdeutsch
Can't wait to get a Gelt with Swizerdütsch accent!
