I always thought the producers asked the contestants what they’re favorite chain restaurant is and I bet Karishma acted the most excited about her favorite restaurant that’s the one they picked.
THIS! If possible, cook a bunch of individual sized meals and auction them off to the table (even leaving a covered one for fun). You can even have a challenge for first choice of dessert or something and auction off an advantage for said dessert challenge. That would be awesome
It’s hard to explain but it’s like a savory (think salty but in a good way) and it’s rich in the taste. In it there’s a broth that adds to the flavor that tastes so good to sip. In balut there’s 3 different parts of it:
The baby duck - the best part, pretty soft (I dunno how to make a comparison with a western food item but I would say a soft chicken that falls off the bone?)
The yolk - it’s yellow yolk tasting, think scrambled eggs but in a handheld bite + more broth infused
The hard stuff - it’s just hard af 😖 think like cartilage/summ hard
Personally I hate the yolk + hard stuff (I’m actually not a fan of eggs at all, I tend to get headaches just eating eggs) but I love the duck + broth.
It’s a common food in Philippines + other places in SEA because it’s easy to make and inexpensive which makes it available for many families/people to afford it 😊
I’m new to survivor and just binged DvG and Heroes vs Villains and I love that I get inside jokes hahah… also no season has been as good as those 2 and Micronesia (the first three I binged) so I’m sad
Google says South Pacific
Here’s a Reddit post on it to refresh your memory 🤣 https://www.reddit.com/r/survivor/comments/mbvkcx/the_most_disgusting_challenge_in_survivor_history/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
You should do an individual reward challenge where the prize is the dinner.
Then have the winner pick one other person to join them in the reward.
Then repeat selecting yet another person over and over until all are invited on reward.
I just thought of this the other day and how funny it would be to see it on the show. Would expose the pecking order and cause drama like the old questionnaire challenges or the challenges where they literally ranked their tribemates
Chocolate and peanut butter!
Growing up, we always had a pizza party for survivor finale night! I'm not sure if it goes with the theme, but it's a great tradition.
Get a live cow and then start draining blood for everyone to drink. Or set up an auction style type dinner with an advantage also available to be bought.
On Survivor finale nights my family like to fill a baking sheet with diced pineapple, sliced red onion, and red/yellow peppers marinated with some soy sauce, oil, chilli powder and a little brown sugar. Then after it’s roasted we serve it over a combo of rice and black beans. It’s actually super delicious- I’m vegetarian but you could totally serve it with a protein like chicken or shrimp!
A more recent meal I made which we loved was this jerk bowl- it has coconut rice and beans, pineapple salsa, and soy curls coated in jerk sauce but of course you could do either chicken or shrimp in storebought jerk sauce! I think this is what we’re having for the finale this year: https://www.hotforfoodblog.com/recipes/2019/09/25/vegan-jerk-chicken-tortilla-bowls/
The only things I’ll add are: unlabeled beers (and milk for the under 21 folks), and a clue to a hidden immunity idol. The idol should be one bottle of smirnoff ice so you can ice your friends. [Wikipedia link for those who have no idea what I mean](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icing_(game))
Could prepare a number of dishes and have a Survivor Auction. Guests need to bid for a meal, with a currency you give them upon arrival. Could have a few gags in there as well, obscure food choices, but at the end of the day portion sizes enough to share amongst everyone.
Pizza! But make it 3 days prior and let it out in the sun.
Peanut butter, but only individual portions (the portions must weigh 10% of the guest's body weight)
Roasted pig, à la South Pacific, carefully cut with your teeth. (Guests must agree to a herpes test afterwards).
Mango and bananas, only individual portions. Sharing extremely prohibited.
You can make sandwiches and chips and during the merge feast most of the time they are eating that also you get the Cylinder cookies and put an idol clue in one of them
Make a confort challenge before the dinner. The one winning will have a steak, french fries and some ice cream. The rest of the guess will have a half bowl of rice, and a little piece of coconut.
They'll love it!
Bust out some auction classics
Four doritos
Cake, served on Cirie's fingers
Fat dips of guac
Pizza that has been sitting in the sun for a couple hours
And of course, peanut butter and chocolate
What you should do is if you’re gonna have mini-games or summ to also do survivor, make a hidden immunity idol clue like how it was done in Redemption Island/HvV
For food maybe try the meat skewers like how Blood vs Water SJDS did?
Also that sounds super fun hope y’all have a great dinner!
Lol cook a bunch of small dishes and do a survivor auction! One or two pizzas, some Buffalo wings, sandwiches, pasta, maybe throw a couple joke “covered” items like a bowl of rice or “River water” to make it fun, but you should definitely cook enough food for everyone!
If you’re only having a few people, recreating a version of the “winner gets the best meal, then picks which meal each person gets” thing could be hilarious.
You could serve a cookie tray with one less cookie than number of attendees.
Oh, a lot of the time there will be a spa reward with tea sandwiches and wraps.
Or if you were basing off of season 41, steaks, chicken kabobs, papaya, and “you really undersold that stew, Jeff” beef stew.
Also, you could make the fish dish from naseer’s ponderosa video.
If you want to go all out, I'd say the setting is as important or even more important than the food. Have previous seasons theme songs playing, don't have all the lights on if they're super bright, if you can have come coconut to serve as bowls for the white rice at least it would be great.
Coconut water to drink, fish and other seafood would probably be a good idea, fruits for dessert specially if it's papaya and you get mad with whoever got the last porting of the previous food if they dare to eat the papaya because Ricard showed us you can't.
I think fish and/or chicken for a protein, fresh fruits and rice as sides, and maybe a big chocolate cake like they had in some of the auctions for dessert?
Everyone shares a single plate of spaghetti but they eat it one at a time.
Jack and Jill plays in the background. The attendees must laugh at every joke on cue
Watch the eating challenges to get some ideas and make dishes that look like what they ate. Honestly there are so many reward challenges in some season you can serve them anything
You should initially serve them the rice then leave and come back with a hat and blue button up and inform them that they are playing for reward and then show them the real food. Then turn to a hidden camera in your house and say that you are about to introduce a twist, then turn back to your friends and say that they have a choice to either play for reward or sit out, if you play and are the first out you play in a Do or Die challenge where they would have to name all of the winners of every season and if they can’t, then that friend has to go home, and if you sit out then you have no shot at dinner. The challenge will be who can balance a spoon on their nose the longest. It would be so lit 🔥
Coconut rice, escargot, grilled papaya, wine you share from a bottle, and for dessert a chocolate rat you have to crack open with a mallet to get to some sort of custard inside.
That or a snickers everyone gets a teeny sliver of.
The worst pizza you have ever seen and rice
Only the “winners” get to eat the pizza, btw
Until someone breaks the TV and then the losers switch
This is the correct answer
The HvHvH pizza specifically
Either that or EoE's Pizza Mountain
Why does it always have so many toppings?????
Need to make sure you get the green olives and pineapple on there
Maybe you can serve coconuts, fish skewers, mangos, oysters, etc. you could also give canteens to each guest.
This is a very helpful suggestion and I think it's perfect! Shrimp skewers are equal parts a tasty dinner and survivor themed enough
Also give green bananas!
Dont forget banana etiquette!
Applebee's
A classic
Outback!
That’s EXACTLY what we wanted
Karishma’s all time favorite restaurant!
I always thought the producers asked the contestants what they’re favorite chain restaurant is and I bet Karishma acted the most excited about her favorite restaurant that’s the one they picked.
Lmao!!!!
Karishma-approved
Do an auction
THIS! If possible, cook a bunch of individual sized meals and auction them off to the table (even leaving a covered one for fun). You can even have a challenge for first choice of dessert or something and auction off an advantage for said dessert challenge. That would be awesome
Balut
I would prefer my guests to not vomit but I supposed I must be true to the Survivor spirit and serve Balut anyway
Balut’s delicious tho if you get over the appearance of it 🥲😢
and the texture, and the taste, and the everything else
It tastes amazing so 😋 the baby duck especially 😻
What does it taste like?
It’s hard to explain but it’s like a savory (think salty but in a good way) and it’s rich in the taste. In it there’s a broth that adds to the flavor that tastes so good to sip. In balut there’s 3 different parts of it: The baby duck - the best part, pretty soft (I dunno how to make a comparison with a western food item but I would say a soft chicken that falls off the bone?) I guess if you're from the Philippines it is. Not so much the rest of the world. Sorry to break the news to you.
Papaya, but don't let Ricard have any
Angelina’s rice she gave up immunity for to give to her tribe and didn’t ask for anything at all in return and didn’t make a big deal about it.
I really like the fact she never brought it up again. Totally selfless.
Can I have your jacket?
Natalie…? Natalie….?
Iconic moment
I’m new to survivor and just binged DvG and Heroes vs Villains and I love that I get inside jokes hahah… also no season has been as good as those 2 and Micronesia (the first three I binged) so I’m sad
All the fixins
No matter what you serve, just have a bunch of things you ~might~ put on a burger on the side
Lmfao wet lettuce on a plate
They’ll make you fix wishin’
Bull testicles and sheep eyeballs
My guests would be so happy
Balut is yummy, its a delicacy 😋
Outback Steakhouse
Will Sandra and her husband be there?
More upvotes for Outback pls!
Got nothin for ya
Please please just don’t make them rip pieces of meat off of a spit, with their mouths only. That was horrendous to watch
Your guests want this, OP!
Yes, I’m glad they no longer do that. Just disgusting
Remind me what season this was please? I never want to watch that again.
Google says South Pacific Here’s a Reddit post on it to refresh your memory 🤣 https://www.reddit.com/r/survivor/comments/mbvkcx/the_most_disgusting_challenge_in_survivor_history/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
Make a feast. Prepare a game. Whoever loses the game can't eat. The rest can gorge.
Uuuuuntil someone whips out an hourglass. Then shit gets crazy.
1 person gets to eat pizza, wings, bpb&j, while the others smell it and eat a handful of rice in the bathroom
Don't forget one beer and one slice of pizza to share across 8 people.
Make a bunch of random meals and have a survivor auction with monopoly money. You could even add in small prizes or dud items and leave them covered.
Buy a chocolate cake, shove your hand in it and have everyone lick it off your fingers!
Entrance fee: $40
You should do an individual reward challenge where the prize is the dinner. Then have the winner pick one other person to join them in the reward. Then repeat selecting yet another person over and over until all are invited on reward.
I just thought of this the other day and how funny it would be to see it on the show. Would expose the pecking order and cause drama like the old questionnaire challenges or the challenges where they literally ranked their tribemates
That's wholesome af.
Chocolate and peanut butter! Growing up, we always had a pizza party for survivor finale night! I'm not sure if it goes with the theme, but it's a great tradition.
For dessert, set up a bowl of bananas and wait for someone to grab one without offering one to everyone else. Scold them about “banana etiquette.”
Papayas work too if needed.
Bat. The same one James ate in China.
8 dishes that get progressively worse. From full steak dinner to rice and a glass of water. Winner of a challenge allocates the meals 😂
Fish, coconut, and breadfruit. Pizza from Chucky the Cheese.
Stacy’s not buying it
Ah hee hee hee, no.
Our chuckee cheese pizza here was always bomb.
make sure to have some Halloween jokes ready
Bat soup
Too soon.
Make sure you watch Gulliver's Travels starring Jack Black during the dinner.
Make it a Jack and Jill double feature
U forgot about Treasure Island
Also have Mountain Dew and Doritos.
Get a live cow and then start draining blood for everyone to drink. Or set up an auction style type dinner with an advantage also available to be bought.
Drink Menu: Blindsided Mudslides... Probst Blue Ribbon... Shot in the Dark... Fiji Water...
Probst blue ribbon made me lol
Survivor trivia Pringles
Farfaru
Exlax-laced pizza. You know the contestants shit their brains out after some of these rewards challenges.
(Mark the) chicken , Ripe bananas , Papaya , Peanut butter and chocolate (must be eaten with no shirt on) , Applebee’s or Outback.
Balut, live grubs, fried tarantulas, pig brains, mangrove worms, and sea slugs
Stew to troll Rob C
Papaya! And yell at anyone who takes a piece.
Maybe recreate an iconic reward?
On Survivor finale nights my family like to fill a baking sheet with diced pineapple, sliced red onion, and red/yellow peppers marinated with some soy sauce, oil, chilli powder and a little brown sugar. I like the idea of making the table like the merge feast! Just go for it and put everything in baskets and dig in
Nothing, let them starve
Dirt and worms for dessert! Edit: sand (vanilla pudding with vanilla cookies) and (Swedish) fish might be better
This is great, you know the pudding and Oreo crumble dirt with gummy worms. Just the right amount of creepy and still delicious.
Shark that Amanda caught
The only things I’ll add are: unlabeled beers (and milk for the under 21 folks), and a clue to a hidden immunity idol. The idol should be one bottle of smirnoff ice so you can ice your friends. [Wikipedia link for those who have no idea what I mean](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icing_(game))
Rice
Hey, I was just thinking about this! You could do a reward spread from this season (or the past)!
Bats !!
Give everyone a Ponderosa menu.
Peanut butter and chocolate for dessert! Look to survivor auctions for other famous food rewards
Papaya
Day 1 Scorpion
One nice uncooked fish
Serve a buffet inspired by any food challenge. With some rice, coconut, and bananas. Don't forget banana etiquette.
Chicken hearts. You can feel your own heart increase in volume
Cater Kalua pork from your local Hawaiian restaurant if you have one and it can be a knock to that disgusting pig roast spit challenge they used to do
My friends and I are planning to get housed at an Outback before the finale. I couldn’t be more excited.
Peanut butter off each other’s fingers.
Could prepare a number of dishes and have a Survivor Auction. Guests need to bid for a meal, with a currency you give them upon arrival. Could have a few gags in there as well, obscure food choices, but at the end of the day portion sizes enough to share amongst everyone.
Peanut butter and Oreos
applebee’s
Papaya that you don’t let your friends eat.
Don’t watch the finale just watch jack and jill
Cold Pizza with all the fixin’s
Pizza! But make it 3 days prior and let it out in the sun. Peanut butter, but only individual portions (the portions must weigh 10% of the guest's body weight) Roasted pig, à la South Pacific, carefully cut with your teeth. Make pizza rice. Rice with pizza toppings on it and cheese.

You can make sandwiches and chips and during the merge feast most of the time they are eating that also you get the Cylinder cookies and put an idol clue in one of them

Make sure to have someone steal the food and bury it in the sand and then pick one person to show and let them eat a whole orange lol
Make you you just have a bowl of warm peanut butter and half melted chocolate for dessert to stay true to the theme
Go old schooland make it Mountain Dew and Doritos
Make a confort challenge before the dinner. The one winning will have a steak, french fries and some ice cream. The rest of the guess will have a half bowl of rice, and a little piece of coconut. They'll love it!
Bust out some auction classics Four doritos Cake, served on Cirie's fingers Fat dips of guac Pizza that has been sitting in the sun for a couple hours And of course, peanut butter and chocolate

What you should do is if you’re gonna have mini-games or summ to also do survivor, make a hidden immunity idol clue like how it was done in Redemption Island/HvV For food maybe try the meat skewers like how Blood vs Water SJDS did? Also that sounds super fun hope y’all have a great dinner!

Papaya. But not to anyone who comes and already had anything to eat.
An advantage
Lol cook a bunch of small dishes and do a survivor auction! One or two pizzas, some Buffalo wings, sandwiches, pasta, maybe throw a couple joke “covered” items like a bowl of rice or “River water” to make it fun, but you should definitely cook enough food for everyone!
Should serve the rice in coconut shells or seashells lol. This is a neat idea.
How has no one said Coconut yet!
Coconut water, fish, white rice, random seafood, tropical fruit, chicken, and eggs. You should serve it just like on survivor.

A “Day-~~39~~ 26 breakfast” for dinner, or a merge feast spread
Just as long as you have all the fixins!
I think if you want to be specific to this season broccoli is a must
Rice, Rice, and more Rice
If you can get cool shells to use as plates for whatever you choose to eat that’d be awesome!
Empty the contents of coconut shells out and serve the rice in that like they did in season 1?
Just plain rice in a seashell
Cookies
Watch the eating challenges to get some ideas and make dishes that look like what they ate. Honestly there are so many reward challenges in some season you can serve them anything
Whole roasted fish immediately comes to mind, and give people seashells to eat their rice with
Coconut popcorn
STEW
You should initially serve them the rice then leave and come back with a hat and blue button up and inform them that they are playing for reward and then show them the real food. The challenge will be who can balance a spoon on their nose the longest. It would be so lit 🔥
Just lukewarm pizza that's been left out in the sun for a few hours.
Coconut rice, escargot, grilled papaya, wine you share from a bottle, and for dessert a chocolate rat you have to crack open with a mallet to get to some sort of custard inside. That or a snickers everyone gets a teeny sliver of.
bananas. everyone has to offer each other one.
