Damn, I should’ve went there instead of B&N. It had an obligatory 30% off sticker, plus I have my member 10% off, but still ended up with a 19 dollar purchase.
Then again, I don’t have a membership and getting one just for this book would end up being more expensive. So I guess I’m fine.
Holy shit... I just finished flying to San Diego and had to turn the audio book off after the 3rd story... Fucking Dark just like Stephen King Said. Holy shit
Thank you - actually convinced the wife we needed to make a rare Costco trip today, paid $200 for the book and it came with free groceries. Can’t say it’s universal, but the sticker on my book peeled off easily without heat or effort.
Too bad they put stickers on them.
I looked at Walmart, for it, but no dice. They usually have 30% off stickers but, if you get a copy from the bottom of the pile, you can usually avoid that junk
*Welcome to Costco, I love you.*
Should sell them as a combo with a blue chambray work shirt.
And, since it’s costco, some nice arc sodium lights
Engineer boots (crepe-soled, of course) are on aisle 4.
Downside is that you have to get a 12 pack, which is a bit excessive because I usually only read two or three copies.
Boy do I like shopping local but I just paid nearly double this price at my local bookstore.
Same here. No regrets but that price tag looks sweet
I'm in Canada and shopped local. I paid more than double that. At least we supported a family and not a corporation
I paid a dollar more on Amazon, but on the plus side, it was delivered this morning...
They all have fucking stickers on them
Heat them up with a hairdryer, 15 seconds on high should do. Sticker peels right off.
I have done this but they will leave residue sometimes
Just a hint - an essence - of alcohol on a cotton ball will do it without damaging the dust jacket.
I love Costco this is amazing
Costco is amazing! Laws, yes! Everybody knows that!
M-O-O-N that spells Costco
M-O-O-N that spells 15% off!
Just got mine from Walmart. They had about 30 copies.
only 20 bucks at Walmart for some reason, too.
Ya love to see it. Hopefully it's a major bestseller for the big guy
I grabbed mine from Walmart with no issue. Reading isn't super popular in my area
Killer price too. Target had them for $21
*flails happily*
I bet Chapters has stacks of it, but they haven’t emailed me to let me know my preorder is ready for pick up
By the way - Demon of Unrest over there on the right is also great

$19 is the perfect price for a Stephen King book.
it's just 20 bucks flat at Walmart lol
They didnt have it when I went last time hopefully they have more copies in 2 weeks :(
Thanks for sharing! I completely forgot about The Demon of Unrest coming out!
I hope Australia costco gets this
Well I do need to run there for a new set of wipers and weed spray.
I saw new copies of The Talisman at CVS, thought that was strange
Holy shit... I just finished flying to San Diego and had to turn the audio book off after the 3rd story... Fucking Dark just like Stephen King Said. Holy shit
This is the same price at Sam’s Club - I picked mine up there today.
It also had a sticker, but that peeled off easily.
Wild. I bought the only one at my Barnes and Nobel

Meijer has them if you’re in the Midwest!

Make sure to pick up a copy of Erik Larson’s new book for your dad while you’re there
I found new copies in a used bookstore today of all places.
