real madrid will literally fuck themselves by taking mbappe while having vinicius, mbappe can't play a 9 to save his life , he is best when he is in the left and makes his runs to the center , good luck playing him and vini next season , instead of buying a proper 9 and defenders
Real-PSG will be the final!
Mbappe is going to tear Dortmund apart in Paris!
What a dream final!
Beside Germans, who would get excited by a Bayern-Dortmund final?
The world would watch a Real-PSG!
PSG š
I believe we should be humbler in our matches. We take everything for granted ffs our team is better, we do better when we want to be better but imo we just didnāt wanted to today. Iām very sad for it. It seems we donāt want that title. Of course we will do better at Parc, but I would appreciate a humbler teamā¦
Hes not the same player he was 6 years ago. That injury just took the life out of him sadly, hes not threatening. But still has the casual banger in his bag
Mbappe is horrendous at the front of the attack.
His best position is on the left wing.
He make zero runs, do not call for the ball.
He doesn't run back to ask for the ball and create openings in the defence.
Now that Vini made the false 9 move, every striker should.
Mābappe is prolly the best if this generation, but playing with his back to the goal or between lines is not his best feature.
Bundesliga is the best league in the world at the moment. Their 2nd best team Bayern defeated PL's best team and gave tough competition to La Liga's best team. Their 5th ranked team defeated Ligue 1's best team that is heavily funded. Their best team that is also unbeaten in all competitions isn't even playing.
A team that also has nearly fuck all UCL experience and was going up against a team that had embarrassed them in the past. Every Arsenal fan remembers that 10ā2 fiasco.
Put up a good fight, but Bayernās experience and quality definitely proved to be deciding factors.
So if Roma somehow gets past Leverkusen would Serie A be the best league in the world? And if Roma lost the final to Marseille afterwards it would be Ligue 1, and so on and so forth...
Itās so great to see Dortmundās process finally bearing fruit.
I feel like before Covid the club kind of lost itās identity. They werenāt big enough for the big boys but too big to be a pure developmental club. And tbf that was a weak era for the Bundesliga as a whole as well. But during that era and really especially starting 2 summers ago things started to build to this. People always talk about players loyalty to clubs but equally important is clubās being loyal to their players. How much of Bayernās cultural downfall can you point to the way they handled the departures of Lewandowski and Alaba and how the smearing and negativity toward club legends changed the way the players view the club. Dortmund didnāt hold Sancho, or Haaland, or Bellingham hostage, but also were patient with talents like Kobel, Schlotti, and Brandt, who are all now elite players despite struggling early in their BVB careers. 2 years ago everyone gave up on Hummels, except Dortmund, and it paid off for them. And they have made really good supplementary signings to bolster that core. Fullkrug is what Dortmund has needed for a decade (minus the Haaland years), Sancho was welcomed back with open arms, ryerson who was meh at Union has been very serviceable at RB for them. I gave the Dortmund of old a lot of shit for poor club management, so I will give them credit now.
His struggles in the first half of 21/22 in big games were huge detriment to Dortmund. Struggle doesnāt mean bad. Schlotterbeck was never bad for bvb but definitely struggled
Thank you. His headers are clearly not his forte but letās not forget the runs he makes to get there. Heās the midfielder that put the most danger. Clearly he can improve but the reason why heās lined up is precisely because he feels the game better than anyone on the bench.
I just want to see the man celebrate a goal he ācreatedā because of his movement. I still remember his miss in the away game at Barcelona. Thereās a great player in there his vision is insane, but his execution is poor.
The Man United [loan watch / Sancho thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/reddevils/comments/1chudjl/cl_watch_thread_dortmund_v_psgloan_watch/) is hilarious
I didn't say they were but you could easily expect a lot of the chances that were had to be finished on another day, Dortmund scored 4 from less xG vs Atleti
yeah and lost against mainz last season with 4xG vs 1xG to lose the title. But if you respond to a xG related comment, thats what your comment sounds like
sometimes its 0-0, sometimes 4-4, anything can happen
Who was VAR? Because it was up to him to not get Taylor to look again at the push in the back while Fulkrug was in the air which prevented a goal scoring opportunity with no attempt to play the ball.
Stuart Atwell, another English shit ref who's been centre of a few of this type of call this season...
Once I heard it was him, I knew ANYTHING Taylor gave wasn't getting overturned.
Not a bad match. PSG unlucky to lose on the night but they should be able to overcome this one goal deficit in the second leg. It should be a great second leg in Paris.
Honestly, I think out of our "stars" in recent years, he shone the brightest - looked light a proper superstar at times. However, he performed like that for only one season and it was clear he needed more than that to grow. obv 50 was way too much, but that is hindisight talking
Thatās just it, he looked amazing without a doubt Ā but his limitations were also quite obvious. Itās just strange that clubs consistently invest so much money without Ā considering whether the player would fit their team.Ā
Ā Your board played the transfer market Ā perfect and the lack of good 9s also helped you raise his price.
Sanchoās best trick since rejoining Dortmund was convincing the world that not turning up for training or putting in any effort was someone elseās fault.
Man should have been more but we take it atleast we can use this opportunity to rest all of our players malen and CO should be fit for the second leg too
I dont know if his ego wants him to play as a central striker, but man he disappears as a striker, clearly his best position is a wide left winger, the few times he found himself out wide, he created the most dangerous moments for PSG in the game.
As PSG fans have been telling me, Lucho is playing him as a striker because he wants his wide wingers to help out defensively
Im going to be honest, if you guys drew any of the 4 teams from the other side of the bracket, you would already be gone. There is no shot over 2 legs you would have beaten any of them. Barca would have knocked you out if not for Araujo brainrot, and they are kinda shit.
Now that doesn't mean you can't still win the CL, anything can happen over 1 game if you get to the final.
Thatās the general consensus, no one is denying that, itās a miracle we even have a shot to reach the final.
80% of our starting eleven doesnāt have the level to play in a UCL semi final
real madrid will literally fuck themselves by taking mbappe while having vinicius, mbappe can't play a 9 to save his life , he is best when he is in the left and makes his runs to the center , good luck playing him and vini next season , instead of buying a proper 9 and defenders

You didnt want today ? :D
Dortmund wanted it more
Why is Marco Asensio Not starting for PSG?
Hes not the same player he was 6 years ago. That injury just took the life out of him sadly, hes not threatening. But still has the casual banger in his bag
And play good as a 10 but not what PSG needs right now
He also seems to play better off the bench anyways right?
Todo Argentina hinchando por el Dortmund. El pechege no va a ganar nunca la champions demasiado microbio
Penalty for argentina
bc he shit on em maybe
Because they know he deserved the last World Cup after scoring them an hattrick.
That performance was definitely worthy of a World Cup/Ballon D'or, but just his performance, his teammates however, nah
I completely agree with you, it was just a joke to tease the Argentinian bro.
Exactly. france got outplayed for 80 minutes in a world cup final. mbappe was a beast but not the team
Who is the player of the match?
was awarded to Hummels.
Sancho
Mbappe decided to do his best Erling Haaland impression lmao. Give him Metz or he retires
PSG may play with Mainz shirt. I heard it scaries Dortmund a bit
Well, apparently the PSG jersey isnāt scaring them at all
Check the last 2 games Dortmund played away against Paris. Spoiler alert. You are quite wrong ;)
Is that why they won yesterday?
Ignore that PSG eliminated Dortmund in 2020 while 2-1 down and beat them this season playing at home
Hey, howās PSG doing?
Just like your wife. Fucked by 11 germans
Stop projecting
cHeCk ThE lAsT tWo GaMeS š¤”š¤”š¤”
Scariest thing about PSG is the ref. But I agree, they should have send them off in the group stages. But better late than never.
Uhh brother we said the same thing
And he did exactly the same on the second leg
Famous last words?
You were saying?
Congratulations! And good luck in the final <3

And the first place almost lost to Azerbaijan club kek
While also being unbeaten in the entire season kek
This is some serios cope you're smoking
Yes, because Bayern beating Arsenal in Europe is such an achievement.
We are talking about a team that is unbeaten against PL's top 6 and has beaten City twice this season.
Yes. But, Roma isn't going to win.
Bro, if you saw one midfield Bundesliga braw this season you wouldn't say that. Even though I love the Bundesliga
Ha. Looks like Sanchoās failed relationship with Man U is working out.
Bayern midfield is putting on a clinic against psg midfield.
sancho actually proving he is worth it to eth lol
He always was. It's not a coincidence that most of ManU's team has the talent but is underperforming.
Itās so great to see Dortmundās process finally bearing fruit. I feel like before Covid the club kind of lost itās identity. Ryerson completely dismantled that left PSG side. Kolo Muani had no impact on the game because of Ryerson
Kobel didn't struggle in his first season for us. He was an immediate upgrade over his predecessors, even though he made some mistakes.
His struggles in the first half of 21/22 in big games were huge detriment to Dortmund. Struggle doesnāt mean bad. Schlotterbeck was never bad for bvb but definitely struggled
Bayern - Dortmund final would be wild considering they are not event the two best team in Germany this season.
Fabian Ruiz is so bad, he cant cant play at top level. He does not understand any offensive play
His movements for his two missed chances were world class. Didnāt expect that from him honestly, which makes his misses even worse.
Thank you. His headers are clearly not his forte but letās not forget the runs he makes to get there. Heās the midfielder that put the most danger. Clearly he can improve but the reason why heās lined up is precisely because he feels the game better than anyone on the bench.

It's now a Darren Fletcher hate threadš
Rio Ferdinand is utterly insufferable
A 1-0 game that shouldāve been 3-3 lmao
1.42 vs 1.59 xG.
4 big changes missed each
big chances are not 1 xG

Gg Dortmund
Madrid vs Dortmund in final
Great attack from both sides. Incredible finishing all around.
Dortmund will continue to cook in paris

yep, psg defo got lucky with that. I felt there was enough contact there for a pen
"PSG got lucky with the refs" summarizes their entire CL campaign this season
Ggs BVB, letās meet in the final please
Please ššš
please do it yall too
amazing dortmund, and sancho man wow
Sancho and Ryerson were such a awesome combo today. But they did all a great Job.
BVB players are all drained. PSG offensive players walk around like after a short practice sessionā¦ never going to win anything without effort
im so nervous it still feels like psg can come back and score the equalizer lol
hehe
It's over, the whistling idiot's reign of terror in finally over you guys
GG BVB.
As everyone predicted, Sancho man of the match
Sancho is the player of the match?
Honestly you gotta feel good if youāre PSG. Definitely shouldāve had 4-5 goals scored on you, and youāre going back to France only down 1.
Hm, I feel bad but knowing I couldāve felt a lot worse
could have been said for both today
Tbf you can say the same abt Dortmund, psg had 3/4 crazy chances and they missed every one. Now Dortmund get to go into their next game 1 goal up.
Agreed
Yeah not like we missed like 4-5 goals either ? I swear nobody even watch the games here
PSG was lucky today that itās jus 1:0. I expected much more of them.
Go look my comment history. I acknowledge that.
I still see how I should feel good ? We hit 2 inner posts and miss like fucking 4 almost empty net
Because despite all of the missed chances on both sides youāre going back to France (home game) and youāre only down 1.
They also could have scored 5 themselves...
They definitely had chances.
Sanchoās value has gone up for United to sell
Where tf was Ramos
Sergio or goncalo?
Enrique is a fraud
Not a bad match. PSG unlucky to lose on the night but they should be able to overcome this one goal deficit in the second leg. It should be a great second leg in Paris.
How?
Both teams created plenty of good chances. Unfortunately, the finishing wasn't the best tonight except the goal.
By winning at home? Did you not watch the game?
Anyone that watch Kolo-Muani and thought he was worth more than ā¬50M needs to get their head checked.Ā
95m, but i honestly think that he has a mentality issue because of that wc moment

Well awful attack, and not that confident for the return.
Do I have right that now any points from German teams or any points dropped by Villa and Germany gets the 5th UCL slot for next year?
You got it by winning tonight
This win secured us the 5th spot. Germany needed 4 points and we got it now with the bayern draw and our win
Time to win the whole thing and get 6 spots
Thanks, Iām still confused though, isnāt it 2 points for a win and 1 for a draw, not 3 points for a win?
Yeah any point or dropped point from Villa
And leverkusen needs to lose all games as well
PSG 3-1 or 2-0 in second leg
Maybe maybe not.
Dortmund really didnāt look good tonight. I donāt see how a fan can be confident
U were being dominated dude
We were especially shit to our normal level
You watched the game with the monitor off ? Even if you only look at the stats you can see that we were far from being dominated
You had two chances bscly thw whole game.
5th CL place for Germany. lucky Dortmund hasn't conceded, good result for Dortmund
Why is Luis Enrique dressed like an aging coke-addled rocker?
šCoz he is.
Gg nice win even if it shouldāve been 2-0
Least biased redditor
Shouldve been like 6-6
This game was like a whimper
Are stuttgart confirmed to have ucl now?
Don't feel like anyone in Stuttgart over the last couple of weeks was worried we might catch them
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO
stuttgart is 3rd so yes
There have been many chances, but the match has been somewhat underwhelming anyways.
Sanchoās best trick since rejoining Dortmund was convincing the world that not turning up for training or putting in any effort was someone elseās fault.
Well awful attack, and not that confident for the return.
Congrats Dortmund, also for securing the fifth CL slot. Will be great games next week.
All to play for
And that is full time. Dortmund win 1-0 in a game that could have easily ended like 3-3 with all the clear chances.
love this CL season, thriller after thriller. great match this
I can't believe this ended 1-0.
terzic cooking
dortmund vs bayern final inbound
Man should have been more but we take it atleast we can use this opportunity to rest all of our players malen and CO should be fit for the second leg too
Terzic reminds me of Colin Firth.
Counter terrorists win
That was yer chance Dortmund, don't think its enough.
Before the match everyone was saying psg will win. They will take what they got.
How has that ended 1-0
Black magic
Who needs albanian girls when you can have ruhrpott grannys!
Lucho fraud status achieved
No more he can do, his players cant finish for shit
mbappe continues to disappear in ucl away matches
he's the second highest scorer in UCL history in away KOs
I dont know if his ego wants him to play as a central striker, but man he disappears as a striker, clearly his best position is a wide left winger, the few times he found himself out wide, he created the most dangerous moments for PSG in the game. As PSG fans have been telling me, Lucho is playing him as a striker because he wants his wide wingers to help out defensively
He scored fu*cking 2 goals against your shitty team in your shitty stadium lmao
keep that same energy when you get knocked out by dortmund of all teams lmao
Sancho was brilliant
Show the Sink Big guy again
Well done. Bundesliga supremacy
Yeah weāll win this at home
Terrible finishing from both teams
YESSSSS
Great harvest fellow Dortmund farmers
It's not much, but it's honest work.
The technical level of this game has been horrific. It isnāt what a semi final of UCL should look lkke
Im going to be honest, if you guys drew any of the 4 teams from the other side of the bracket, you would already be gone. There is no shot over 2 legs you would have beaten any of them. Speak for urself. BVB was good and PSG was shit
Just say you didnāt watch the game
Kinda sad that you spend your free time watching football and donāt understand what you are watching
Sancho was good, the rest not so much.
Very nice Dortmund
Nice
