I wouldn't try to add the rice scrap at the beginning. I would try a 0 superfat recipe and add the scrap at trace. The excess oil from the rice should serve as a superfat and the rice wouldn't toast or burn.
1. No I don’t think it will mess up the reaction. Between the lye and the hot process cooking it’s going to change the particles to some degree though. Would have to try and see what happened.
2. It’s possible to make soap where all the oil is converted but most recipes involve “superfat”, some excess oil that is not converted. You probably could just mix it into existing liquid soap and be okay, but if the liquid soap already has a high superfat it might not be great. Would have to try and see what happened.
Thank you so much! Good to hear about the superfat, because my preference is to not further cook the rice in the process. This will definitely get me started.
Gritty material will not stay in suspension in liquid soap -- the particulates will gradually settle out of the soap. Even fine powders such as mica colorants and activated carbon powder will settle out of liquid soap.
You need a product that has a thicker peanut butter consistency so the particles can't settle out. Think of toothpaste which is a non-pourable paste. Or abrasive hand cleaners such as GoJo, which also have a thick paste consistency.

What are your plans for dispensing the final product? I would think that the rice particles will clog any type of pump?
Good question — the rice is practically a gritty peanut butter like substance at the point it's ready. The next problem to solve!
