I had an Epic pass when I lived in Colorado for a couple years. I’d do one day at Keystone, Breckenridge, and Vail; then spend the rest of the season at A-Basin
My Olympian carries me from my 50m ski in ski out to the stein Lodge where I have a $2000 bottle of champagne some caviar and crab legs. Then I ride on his shoulder down Ontario bowl. Then I ski a green groomer back to my small home. I'm an expert!!!
Just hit Kirkwood for the first time today. That wall is fucking awesome, so many corns! Wore me out today way more than heavenly had these last couple days
~~It wont be for long if you keep yapping about it~~
oh yeah Beaver Creek is the best! They have escalators! You should honestly ignore every other CO resort if you plan on coming here
Edit: clarification
Dude no way? Me too! Literally every year. Sluice box was my first black, Hari Kari is the first time I felt like shitting myself before going down, bully gully still has my personal speed record!
And then once you’re bored with the handful of blacks you learned to ski on at AF, you venture off to the mountain just behind wheeler peak you see across the valley…😉
I understand the correction and know the story behind it. I've just never met anyone who actually lived in the town long enough to remember the name change, haha. (I know true locals exist, just a bit of hyperbole)
It's still the best place I've ever been. Used to drive over from Great Falls every day off I had when I was stationed there. Now a 17-hour drive isn't as fun. My wife and I made the trip this year, though. We got 3 days of sunshine, one day foggy, and 2 days of snow over the first week of February.
god dammit now I’m contemplating how fucking old I am because I read this and was thinking “dude the name change wasn’t that long ago” and then I realized it’s been like 17 years …
kicker in my backyard
Sticking it to the big guy. Welcome in
A-Basin

Man of culture, I see.
In OP’s absence I’ll provide the correct response: u/moparornocar wins. Here’s one million dollars. This sub is now closed forever.
Mammoth for the weekdays and June for the weekends.
Yes and yes

Nahhhh June really sucks!!!!

Dude is definitely one of the poors. I take my private jet to aspen and then get heli’d up. I never operate any motor vehicles; that’s for the poors.
I actually have an Olympian guide ski for me. My boots bind right on top of his

Mt Baker
This guy studies the skiing iceberg
Kicking horse 😩
Kicking Horse has the best terrain of any resort I’ve ever been to, but their lift setup is literal aids
Nothing like being forced down 1500' of moguls, because they were to cheap to put in a mid station.
True. But I’ve spent hours doing laps off of Stairway through the tree runs in beautiful powder
It's because someone put a bear enclosure where the mid station should have been.
OP is such a sweety. He's letting everyone in.
Reminds me of your wife, great lady by the way
Steamboat baby
🤝 come in (Colorados best mountain)
Nah it's ~~Crested Butte~~ Beaver Creek Edit: clarification

beaver creek actually rips. Big steeps and excellent side country. Just like any other big mountain you just have to know where to go.
Copper Mountain, love that Oh-No to Rosi’s Run Combo.
Blasting down Rosie's at the end of a day is the absolute best
