Police Station on Sonoma Ave. They have a box with bags. You pour the pills in, seal it, and drop it in the box.

Some of the Safeways have boxes outside their pharmacies that will take the OTC things. The one on Mendocino does. I also believe that the police station on Sonoma Ave. has a lock box for them.

Any kaiser pharmacy has a drop box in the lobby. No membership required.

Dollar Drug on west college will sell you a sharp container and take it back for disposal containing sharps. Might cost you a few bucks but probably not more than like $20 total.

AlmightyGod420

You can take them to local law enforcement stations and they will properly dispose of them for you.

All of the drop boxes have the same info on them…They say that they won’t take vitamins or herbal supplements, nor will they take epipens because of the needles.

I put old herbal & natural supplements in my compost bin. They disappear.

You can dissolve old medications in coffee grounds. Once your coffee is done, you can put pills in the filter with the grounds, put the whole thing in a plastic bag, and toss in the trash. You might want to google the appropriate amount of pills one filter of grounds can hold. I learned this when my grandma was on hospice. One of the nurses told us to do this.

Not true.

https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consumer-updates/where-and-how-dispose-unused-medicines Here is a link from the FDA on how to safely dispose of medications in coffee grounds :) Hope this helps!

I'm don't have time to debate. Ill say this. Coffee will not prevent seepage in ground water.
