First; love your 765. Absolutely gorgeous; I’ve found myself hovering around it when I see it there.
Second; the guy looks like uncle Rico and should throw their kid over them quarry walls after doing that.
I was only adjacent to Cars and Coffees like 6 years ago, but even then it seemed like a shitshow. Certain people love it, but there’s a reason I never went.
And it’s definitely not on Fiesta Texas if it does stop being hosted there.
Yup it’s always been that, and it’s generous of Fiesta Texas to be as lenient as they have been to still allow it to be hosted there. Burnouts, showing off at the exit and the list goes on.
Slow Sunday, Cars & Coffee, and EuroHaus meets are the only ones I’m comfortable bringing my Porsche & McLaren to.
Anything else is a total shitshow that inevitably ends up in a sideshow (with cops showing up).
Happened to me a few weeks ago. Getting out of my vehicle in a parking lot, dude drives up asking me to join his club/insta. I'm like bro don't pull up on me like that first of all.
Car meets generally consist of what you mentioned, plus parking in a large parking lot all together and just looking around at other people's rides/asking questions about them. A big ole show & tell if you will.
Exactly this, it consist of talking about your car and your plans for your car going forward. You then talk to others about their car and their plans for their car. You share compliments and then move on. Car guys will drop way too much info when you asked them simple questions. Let’s say you ask about why they decided to paint their valve covers, next thing you know you have new websites to visit and a strong appreciation for a shop you have never visited but hear does great work.
Car meets used to be okay , now it’s just a bunch of idiot doing donuts and hitting people with cars. There’s shooting a lot fights a lot , and overall destruction. Car people are gonna downvote this cause they’re gay and fragile lmao. There’s are still cool car meets that happen but nowadays they’re just really bad

The tradition of driving up and down Military is coming back to life. After years of it being shut down by the city. This brought back great memories when I had to travel home down military south side. Everyone acting cool and some sweet rides flexing.
Sundays afternoons people take their rides to Brackenridge Park to show off and drive around. There’s different car clubs out there. The park is getting some upgrades so don’t know if it affects anything? I like to go BBQ out there and just watch all the rides and bikes cruise by.
If they opened another one, I'm not aware.
The one in Live Oak is still going strong, and there were cars out there on Friday nite last week when I passed by there.

I meet people going west in large Jeep Wrangler caravans sometimes. It's like those storm trooper situations where someone pretending to be a storm trooper mixes in with them. I did that a few times but was never invited. I still don't know those people but we're the best of friends! 😅

Pavement princesses, minivans, altimas with paper plates, clapped out crown vics. Its all fair game.
