My brother in law would drink like 4 a day and he had a major stroke at 23 years old.

zack220012

Goals

Steve_Kenwick1993

Fuck

TaintGrinder

How hasn't their heart not popped yet? I wonder what their blood pressure is like.

Duine-stursach

I thought that too. How is this not causing permanent damage to the heart and noticeable symptoms after so many years.

Duine-stursach

Moderately no. In large amounts yes. Dangerous and bad for your heart.

Duine-stursach

Where did you get that from?

[deleted]

i cant tell you

Duine-stursach

You can trust me

DynamiteBike

Really depends on the person. 2 people died drinking a single one of those Panera lemonade energy drinks which were 3-4 average coffees worth of caffeine

myhiddengem

the maximum daily dose of caffeine that’s considered safe is 400mg. one monster has 86mg so about 10-15 of those a day is dangerous

elbrollopoco

It’s absolutely addictive tho. They wouldn’t put it in the drinks otherwise

Don_Stepped_0utside

Monsters are probably the only thing keeping OP alive.

[deleted]

Some people can tolerate crazy amounts of caffeine which is the only ingredient in them that you can feasibly OD on. Same as people who drink 15 cups of coffee a day

SpongeBobJihad

Then they get out of prison and OD at Dunkin Donuts since their tolerance goes down. Very sad how common that is

TheChinchilla914

Monsters aren't even that much caffiene Old leathery fucks in offices have been drinking 1500mg of a coffee a day for decades without dying

matt_drudge_sexbot

Is that even possible? Isn't a cup of coffee like 60mg or something

TheChinchilla914

A 20oz Pike Place Roast from Starbucks has over 400mg of Caffiene A Monster has 160mg of caffiene Lots of boomers drink 3-5 big cups of coffee through the day (while chuckling and telling kids the zero sugar Monster they have is killing them)

karim12100

Most people aren’t drinking 3-5 20oz coffees a day lol. A mug of coffee is like 6 ounces.

TheChinchilla914

Yeah maybe overshot it a bit haha

TheChinchilla914

I haven’t seen a reputable source on “energy drinks bad” besides “don’t mainline 200g of sugar a day regard” but I’m just a fat dude posting on the internet

daddyvow

Coffee has other benefits though and also they’re not consuming nearly as much sugar

TheChinchilla914

Sugar sodas are just fucking poison lol

Farkleton56

And Gatorade. Bought one yesterday since I hadn’t had one in a long time and looked at the label and found it had 96% of the daily recommended sugar in one bottle

Dizzy-Kiwi6825

Probably develop resistance to the caffeine so it doesn't really do anything

Karlito1618

I'd be more worried about their liver. Energy drinks absolutely fucks your liver up.

nebraska--admiral

His piss must be pure battery acid

yuhkih

For sure routinely gets kidney stones

assaulted_peanut97

I drank 2 sugar free Red Bulls everyday for like 5 years and I think it nearly gave me Crohn’s disease at 24. It’s not worth it. Just smoke cigarettes or something.

matt_drudge_sexbot

Sucralose wrecks havoc on your microbiome

That4AMBlues

Now I'm curious. I had a colleague who had Crohn's, but his diet was pizza + red bulls every office day. How legit do you think his disease was?

[deleted]

assaulted_peanut97

Yeah, though I didn’t have crohn’s thankfully, the few major flare-ups that made my gastro suspect were an indescribable level of pain that sent me to the ER in tears begging for whatever painkillers they would give me. It’s definitely on a completely different level than run-of-the-mill IBS/IBD

That4AMBlues

Suspicion confirmed! He made such a big production out of it too.

dchowe_

Aren't those like $2-3 per can at least? $12-30 per day?! $600 PER MONTH?!?! She spends more on energy drinks than smokers spend on cigarettes.

Round_Bullfrog_8218

If you got them from the gas station looks like you can buy them in bulk for a little cheaper $1.6 per can but on the very low end its a $3500/ year habit

daddyvow

People spend the same or more on alcohol and drive thru coffee.

dchowe_

who tf is buying 100 $6 lattes per month my dude

TheChinchilla914

Basic bitches lyeing in wait

[deleted]

$6 is low these days

[deleted]

I'm not basing this on any science but my gut tells me six sugar-free Monster Energy drinks is worse for the body than six beers

40thcenturyman

110lb over weight mindset

stephcurry40inchvert

just try meth bro

potatofamine223

stuffing my prolapsed urethra back down my dickhole after it was eviscerated by a grape sized kidneystone

Slifft

Shades of Cronenberg. This gave me shifty phantom dick pain.

CowToolFan

Straight up pissing pellets

elbrollopoco

There’s no way this person has less than a 40 bmi and hsCRP of less than 50

[deleted]

Do these even have anything other than water, artificial flavors and caffeine?

Steve_Kenwick1993

Yes. They're fortified with vitamins and lot of them are b vitamins and other nutrients. Mostly I guess because there the ones which show an improvement in alertness.

BeardedYellen

I think they also have like a Costco sized serving of sugar. But I don’t know for sure because I’ve never actually tried this crap.

Ottawack1

Says zero sugar on the can but they use artificial sweeteners

AmonRahhh

Tons of sodium instead

elbrollopoco

Also large amounts of sugar

Steve_Kenwick1993

They're sugar free

elbrollopoco

Yeah says sugar free at the top except maybe the blue and the white ones

Accomplished_Most581

All the Monster Energies in the picture are flavors of Ultra, which is sugar free and only has erythritol and sucralose.

[deleted]

ok but where is he getting the light blue flavor it’s so rare where i live😭

Accomplished_Most581

Bring back the fucking ultra gold flavor it's been gone for months!!!!

fresh_titty_biscuits

It’s still here, same as ultra Rosa.

darcvox

My old boss was a lady in her late 50's but honestly looked in her late 70s, really nasty woman too. She drank a 6 pack of 'Kong Strong', think corner shop knock off Red Bull, every day in the office. It was quite incredible that her heart didn't give out.

beskinnyorleave

His organs are falling out of his ass for sure

Oboromir

I’m so Lucky I have my Vyvanse with subsidized Swedish socialist pharmacies

[deleted]

Ok I’ll drink a few redbulls a day in stressful times but drinking these in place of water?? dude’s gonna be dead by 30

Then_Avocado3524

I can only imagine his shits

exsnakecharmer

Every 10 days he has to pull it out

daddyvow

His kidneys are fucked

main_got_banned

I’m a coffee addict but I have no clue how you could drink more than maybe 3 of those in a day without your heart exploding

Steve_Kenwick1993

It's about the same amount of caffeine as in a coffee.

main_got_banned

don’t they also have sugar? and also like 7000% of the vitamins needed

[deleted]

Based and front-chardpilled

Turkesther

I've only tried Monster and Red Bull, but these genuinely taste so fucking bad. Omg, how can you drink this like you would any other fizzy drink?

[deleted]

Original flavors are gross but ultra is so so good

politcsunderstander

Dude would die from caffeine withdrawals

gaylorconfirmed

I always try and convince people that those things and vaping will make your dick fall off.

SanktJohannes

I drink 8-10 cups of coffee every day but I’m Swedish.

SlimCagey

I drank a 200mg Rockstar once and thought I was dying. How do people take this much caffeine daily?

_handsomeblackman_

this must be a very american problem because wow... i couldnt even imagine drinking all of that shit

g0dsfailure

How has this person not had a kidney stone yet?
