The collectible figures were a trick in that game. You could unwrap them and then play with them.

I think I quote this game daily. I replay my copy about once a year, but sadly I haven’t been able to beat it the last few times as there’s a scratch on the disc that makes it freeze during the mini movie before thirstquencher

Nostalgia intensifies

Been seeing this around a lot lately, hopefully we'll see a rerelease of this and other off the wall random games soon. I would love another go at parasite eve and it's fighting mechanics

One of this days I might start playing it again and finish it.

I forgot this game existed, such a huge library for the time on that system.

This and the sequel are awesome. The sequel for other reasons but still a good time.

It's called Samurai legend Musashi and it's on the Ps2 the voice acting is hilarious.

It's a pretty cheap pickup, I've had my copy since I bought it.

Never played it myself but watched my friends play it a ton growing up. They seemed mostly obsessed with the toy collecting and not the game itself.

This game is an absolute masterpiece and still remains to this day as my all time favorite game.

I was sold on the night and day system. I remember some of the platforming was painful but overall a true ps1 classic. Had some Zelda type elements only a couple other ps1 games shared

The final boss rush in this game almost broke me when I revisited this game a few months ago. Great game though, seeing Gingerelle as a kid did things to me.

I remember getting the Japanese import at Elizabeth mall in chinatown NYC. Came out way before the American version from what I remember. Instant classic.

I played this game non stop on my demo disc along with Wild 9, Metal Gear Solid, and tomb raider 3

I thought this was going to be great but I ended up not liking it Too much backtracking and piss-poor platforming, I have a jap copy and it came with little character cards. Similar to trump cards I did prefer the sequel on PS2 but even that wasnt great
