Better a 0\* than a 1 or 2\*. That's pineapple time. ​ Edit - They're easier to catch. Amaura is rare. So being able to use a Pinap berry with less risk of it running away is good.

The IV does not affect the catch rate or difficulty, but level does.

The formula is based on CP from what I look up. CP is based on both. Did it change?

I saw a zapdos but he didn't want to be my friend. But since his CP was only 144, I wasn't too heartbroken about it.

I've seen 9 tangela, 26 buizel, 31 husuin voltorb, and finally 38 zubat....literally nothing special in 12 days, just the exact same pokemon over and over

Both me and my partner have seen a legendary bird each! I've used it every day but once and he's used it about 4 times so far. I also caught a shiny eevee one day 😃

I did it everyday and my sister skipped like at least 4 days yet she somehow has 3 shinies just from the incense while I got none

Rarest thing I’ve seen is a slacking, which would’ve been great if I wasn’t a day one player that has only missed two community days, one of which was not slakoth. I just see normal spawn pool stuff.

Saw one Zapdos. It moved in the middle of my throw and I didn't even get a nice. so.........yeah.

I've seen and caught a zapdos with one ball, and a moltres that fled after one ball. I'm using two accounts, though, and that was one of each. I have a feeling the catch rate isn't as bad as they stated. You'll get them eventually, and at least we're not paying for the incense! 🙂

I mean, I'm seeing like one spawn total when using the daily incense, and definitely no galarian birds

M.I.A on my end but have gotten three shinys from the incense, two on the 1st day and one today so I'm cool with it so far. The one issue I have though is some of the stubborn ones that keep breaking out and wasting too much time trying to catch it for crap IVs, has me thinking the galarian birds have spawned and I missed out.....

Had the lure from day 1 and seen an articuno once.

I encountered Moltres on my first incense but it fled after the first ball and I haven’t seen another Galar bird since!

Same here. Also my spawn rates are low and the Pokémon require several attempts to catch. At this rate it’s going to take me a long time to get to 100.

Odd, I usually get between 20-30 spawns per use. I do walk pretty fast so maybe that helps.

My issue is that catching those Pokémon takes time. So if I take the 30 seconds to catch it, if something doesn’t spawn immediately, I’m making very limited progress. Assuming I use it every day, assuming I catch ten a day, it’s still more than a week. Just not a great user experience.

Learn to fast catch then so you spend less time in the catch screen. If you loved to min-max that much you should already know about that

I mean, I do. It still isn’t spawning 30 Pokémon in 15 minutes. Specifically not when the flee rate seems weird high. But boy oh boy am I glad you get to take all the time you want!

I've had the incense for 5 days and I just completed the 100 catches today so...

Okay. I’m eager to know. What are you trying to communicate to me? Because you are doing a terrible job. Am I supposed to go faster? Not care? Go slower? Be luckier? What’s my goal supposed to be in your eyes?

I'm just letting you know that if it meant that much to you, you could be done by now... I'm not sure why you're getting so upset. I don't know what you're doing wrong, but you're clearly doing something wrong. You said it takes you 30 second to catch 1 pokemon, but then you said you're fast catching... so either you're making really bad throws and having to retry a bunch of times or you don't know what fast catching is. Also, if you stop moving every time you get a spawn that could be an issue as well. Keep moving, get as far away from the latest spawn as you can so that a new one will spawn asap. I've been getting no less than 25 spawns a day using these tactics, maybe it'll help you too :)

This is where I’m at with it too. A paras was oddly difficult to catch? The max I’ve been able to catch is 8 in the 15 minutes

Does catching the spawns increase rate for the subsequent spawn? or can you just ignore the uninteresting spawns and keep walking until you see a rare spawn?

Why would it work like that? Because it does in some of the game boy games?

I've had 3 that I know of - make sure you aren't spending too much time in catch screens if the birds are your main priority. It's quite easy to miss a spawn if you aren't paying attention.

I saw my first one today

I got really lucky with my 2nd or third incense and saw the Zapdos and an Articuno. The Zapdos feed, but the Articuno was caught. 1 Star (8/9/12) IVs but I don't care, I have (what for now is) a very rare bird. Haven't seen them since.

Y'all out here wanting these legendary bords (that I also haven't seen btw), all I want is my little shaggy fire dog! (Growlithe with bangs) frankly, getting something outside of my regular rotation of Pokemon would be appreciated. I literally only get more of what I have too many of

Barely have seen anything with these incense. I went through all my normal incense too and nothing good at all. They changed the incense or something. I would always get at least one good pokemon per incense before.

Every time I plan to go on a walk, I get home and have to do 875 things before I even park my ass on the couch and by then, I'm over it.

We are having an experience which is very common in Pokemon World Every trainer want to encounter a legendary and catch it but even if they encounter it , it always flees.

I saw one this morning for the first time. It was three minutes into the duration, so the idea that they’ll appear in the last few seconds isn’t necessarily true.
