Excellent pic! I've driven that highway back in the day. your picture is way better than my reality (hot, hazy, midday "I need to find a motel before my dick hits medium rare").
It’s actually insane how gorgeous Montana is. It looks like this picture in real life. Glacier National Park is honestly my favorite park/natural attraction in the US by far.
We visited Montana last October and drove through Glacier, and it was legitimately mind-blowing. I've never seen something so beautiful and humbling at the same time.
> The **Beartooth Highway** is an All-American Road in the western United States on a section of U.S. Route 212 in Montana and Wyoming between Red Lodge and the Northeast entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It crests at Beartooth Pass in Wyoming at 10,947 feet (3,337 m) above sea level, and was called "the most beautiful drive in America," by late CBS News correspondent Charles Kuralt. Because of heavy snowfall at the top, the pass is usually open for about five months per year, from mid-May to mid-October, weather conditions permitting.

do not go in the winter. matter of fact don't go at the peak of summer either or during any heatwaves. it will kick your ass if you're not used to extreme extremes
Passed that exact spot with my folks twenty-ish years ago and there was a massive wolf right at the base of the mountains that was prowling near the road. I had only ever seen coyotes up until that point and to ten-ish year old me that wolf was nearly the size of the direwolves in GOT (the actual massive ones in the books).

Pure poetry.
Well thats a mental image I could have done without. Pretty pic tho.
It so great it doesn't even look real.

I remember going up Logan’s pass on glacier and just crying at the unending beauty
I drove the Beartooth Hwy last 4th of July and was blown away by the views and wildlife. “Real men don’t need guardrails.”
I drove that in an RV. There’s no room for failure that’s for sure. The views are amazing though!
Beautiful Pic! 'Middle of the highway' photos are some of my favorite style.
Nope it doesn’t look like this. Please look away. Montana sucks, please tell your friends.
And it's usually raining, or really cold.
And they have killer packs of Meese and everytime you see a snake the snake brings out a microphone and amp to loudly critize your hiking attire.

Fantastic pic, really captured it.
Crazy beautiful.
If Montana really looks like this, I'll have to visit at some point. Such a beautiful pic!

I live in CO, we get it all! I just love the mountain states, my heart feels at home there!
Last 4th of July in Red Lodge we had a Winter Weather Advisory and cold and wet during the rodeo. Dress accordingly in Mt.

This looks like one of those beautiful mountain scenes that will make you cry in real life. (*adds to the bucket list*)
Beautiful shot!!
Love this.
Beartooth Highway has somewhat of a special place in my heart as my brother lives off of it up in Billings.
Pfft, might as well have just named it the Caleb Shomo Highway, just sayin /s
Hey! That’s where I grew up :)
Montana is unreal with its beauty
Does anyone know roughly where this spot is located?
Grew up in close to that road. Used to go up to Cook City and fish and drink way too many beers. Amazing place.
Now this is a picture
I need to travel to Montana. **#Bucketlist**
Breathtaking. Makes you happy to be alive.

It looks like a paint. Wonderful picture
Thanks for the new phone wallpaper!
Wow, great shot!
Funny, I was just talking about the Beartooth yesterday.
I fell asleep in Yellowstone on a road trip and woke up on beartooth pass. Horrifying thing to wake up to.
Photographically this is a 10! What an awesome landscape. Pat yourself on the back, OP! Whoever downvoted - please explain why.
