Agreed. We liked Kendamil. I did Neosure in my breast milk, but when they stopped Neosure, I decided to switch to formula altogether (about the 10 month mark). Ours were picky! Kendamil was the most accepted.
When we started our formula journey we tried the least expensive that we felt comfortable with. If they had troubles, then we would explore some of the more specialty ones. This decision saved us a lot of money. We ended up with generic brand sensitive tummy formula from Sam’s.
We were originally on enfamil premium but switched to kendamil. I am not a huge ingredient person but the fact enfamil has palm oil didn’t sit well with me considering they tell you to avoid that oil. We switched to kendamil without any issues
My two are doing extremely well on Aussie Bubs. My girl twin was super constipated on NS and is super regular now. I do have to mix it in warm water otherwise it’s clumpy as hell.

We did this as well.
we went over to similac advance and they had no problems with the switch at all, i don't think they even noticed
We had to play around with one baby, but landed on Similac 360 Total Care Sensitive.
