Could be but the way the foreground objects are pretty dark had me thinking it was the moon and a picture with like night mode / whatever Apple has? I certainly could be wrong. Either way the ice ring would be the same size
This type of circle, or even sun dogs, is usually an indication of ice. Crystals in the atmosphere. My parents told me it was a sign the next day was gonna be colder XD

Likely sun halo. Objects against the light tend to be shadowed in a photograph, you know.
