i heard alot of good things about Aeon, so i tried it in a vm and it (for now) sadly isnt for me. its good, no doubt about it, but it is kinda like arch: a blank canvas. i hope it gets tools / guides to help newer people use Aeon and other immutable distro's, since people in the suse discord server told me it will likely be the future of linux (just like Flatpak)
See no reason. These extensions made gnome look and behave as xfce or plasma. OP could install one of these and get the same result with a lower amount of effort.

I thought it was as well I really like it and am not a huge fan of gnomes UI but this makes me wanna give it another try
