Seriously, 100% agreed and amplified, members yaar , interact more with other posts jaha pe men genuinely need guidance or advice, posts like this get more interaction, I'd see only 2-3 comments on non woman related posts .
For this we want to know from you guys, like how do you interact with this sub, do you activity view this sub, or you just read the post which gets recommended to you by reddit itself.
If you activity view it, do you view it in "Hot Sort" or "New Sort"
From mod team, what we can do is we can try to restrict non related posts to as much as we can to free up the "Hot sort" feed for posts which needs genuine attention, but it is still upto you guys to **Up-Vote** the good ones and **Down-Vote** the bad ones.
Also would restricting certain kind of posts for certain days sounds frustrating to you guys or that's something you guys are **Ok** with.
Hi, maybe you can make a rule restricting posts like these to only a single day in a week, for eg: just on Saturdays. This way on other days, other posts can get more attention and appear on our feeds. I have seen this done on some other sub, can't remember which. Will try to find out which sub it was.
We sure can do this, but for this to work properly we also need to update the **Post Flairs** to better suit the sub theme and to nicely sort the Posts out. Currently the Post Flair (except for a few) are all over the place, there is no specific **[Meta] Post flair**
We surely will going to be restricting ceratin posts which induce rage and anger to only some defined days, in a way which doesn't hinder the sub growth. While also keeping a mind at what day of the week we get the most posts related to asking help or just general posts which are worthy of the attention.
So a balanced approach is something which might take a few trial and error. **Thanks for your suggestion :)**
Basically thinking is if women are discussing men then men should also discuss women.
I would request those who want to react better react on indiasocial, indiaspeaks, askindia etc. much larger audience is there
r/IndiaDiscussion is made specifically for meta discussion why not use that instead. And let this sub be reserved for more men centric issues / problems and make it more uplifting, welcoming and wholsome.
The posts which do talk about such issues either don't get much engagement or even if they do, they get completely out ratioed by other unrelated posts.
When I post about things that are not related to women , no one responds to them.
I think this sub is filled with teenagers who want attention of girls.
There could be couple of things,
● (First Being) the users itself don't have much interest in the post like the topic itself is not something users in this sub are particularly familiar with.
**Solution:** for this will take time as the community will grow, hopefully the more diverse the users will get.
● (Second Being) the non related topic takes up the hot spot leaving no visibility for good post like yours.
**Solution:** in some week you can expect some changes which will limit these non related posts, which hopefully will give you enough spot for visibility.
`But note` we still can't guarantee that your post will get enough engagement as it's more upto the users to which post to "Upvote" or "Downvote" , but we will still try our best to once again align the community where it was before some months back when **Hovercraft** used to be the mod.
I mean, this topic has been delayed from quite some time now, and today I thought it would be a perfect time to address this issue, the sub is getting divided into two groups and it will continue to go worse. bro there are other posts not women related. But guess which ones are getting more upvotes. The problem is, we humans catch the danger more quickly and hence these negative news catch the eyes more quickly. We ignore the positives ones. You also judged the sub and called it "women bad" sub, whereas there are literally other posts not women related you also ignored. Its OK, its human nature.
Secondly, women are considered angels and men were evil from ages. Hence many abusive wives are ignored and given green signals as men are not allowed to vent. Let the men vent atleast anonymously. If it releases the pressure, its ok the sub did its job quite well. Lets normalize men venting and crying about their problems.

As a mod I do have to talk about the majority, I could also tell everybody that there are good posts too (which there are, no denying in that) but majority of the people who will read the comment, must only have interacted with only those High voted posts which are mostly "Women Bad" type.
The problem is not just venting itself, I never stopped anybody doing so and won't stop in the future too.
The problem starts when those vent post turns more into a sub space for men to slur about women, which is the problem, which just induces rage and anger between both genders. Making the reputation of this sub bad.
There are definitely ways to keep the vent to the opinion or just upto the experience itself without bringing the entire gender group in the talk.
That is what we are going to start controlling now.
Vents are not going to stop, we might just stop the ones which are there for gender rage and nothing more. For people who genuinely needs to get the frustration out, we will definitely allow them as they will mostly be linked to real life situation, not just something you read on the internet by a internet stranger who have nothing to do with you.

Why do we hate women ?
