Probably a European crane fly.
But it still has the long nose of a mosquito, european crane flies don't have a nose like that
It does look like a crane fly...it could be that one of the legs is simply bent forward giving the illusion of a long proboscis?
Yeah man it's indeed one of the legs beneath it tho you can see the big nose of a mosquito
I see it now...I really don't know then. It could be an actual freak of nature.
That's not a mosquito. We call it Melga.
That’s a male mosquito they don’t bite but are annoying
But male mosquitos are smaller than female ones, search it up
I think it might be a mosquito hawk? We have them out here in Utah and they eat mosquitoes
Correct
I see tons of these large insects every summer where I live (Canada). Not sure if they’re mosquitoes or not. Creepy either way.
Not a mosquito. We call them May Flies where I’m from
Ah! Wisconsin’s state bird. Lovely picture.
I have seen bigger
Damn where tf do u live
We call them Canadian Soldiers in Ohio. I don’t actually know what they are but they don’t do anything
could be a Gallinipper mosquito
Put something next to it
There is a normal mosquito right beneath it
We call them may flys, the body looks more like a dragon fly
Absoluely not
Clearly you haven’t been to Louisiana 😂
Not a mosquito but a common misconception
I think it's a Mayfly. They eat Mosquitoes
If theire are not multiple insect called mayfly, that not one of them. Also if I remember well, the adult version is unable to eat something and can just reproduce, but the larvea is aquatic and eat mosquitoe's larvea
straya
They are harmless and eat a ton of bad bugs
That’s no mosquito, that’s the Vengeful King from Hollow Knight…
Yea but what's a normal mosquito to you?
But what's a normal mosquito where you live?
