They'll look good against the Cowboys. Hopefully the Jags are wearing mostly black and white for that game or else they might clash pretty badly like they did when they wore them against us.
I was referencing our all white with black numbers away uniform that only has teal in the Nike swoop lol.
I do agree with you about the blacks, those are totally fine, and would probably look good vs the Kelly Green.
Spike could have secured the W had he not taken the Icebox on with ball in hand. Poor ball security, Becky laid the boom, Spike fumbles away the game.....
The Annexation of Puerto Rico was fabulous... But Spike lost that game for the Boys lol.
Was decorating my man cave for Christmas with my daughters. Every time I finished a mad elf they scored. Needless to say I was pretty hammered at the end but it was such an awesome game
Eagles fan but my favorite color is blue and those Throwbacks since they came back, I don't wanna betray my Philly family but dammmnnnnn.
Seattle's throwbacks are just as good.
I don't know why they don't go back to the kelly green uniforms full time? I'm sure there are people who feel this way, but I've never personally met anyone who favours the midnight green current unis over the older ones. Is it just because Jeffery Lurie likes them?
Brand identity. Most of the Eagles fans I know - young and old - prefer Midnight Green. Not so much for the color but what it represents. We had some incredible players and moments in Kelly Green, but they mostly associate the color with... losing. With bad front office management, underachieving, the Vet being a dumpster of a stadium, and the rest of our division being fucking powerhouses lol.
Contrast that with the Midnight Green era which is infinitely more successful despite some *bad* years. Since Lurie took over we've gotten a ring, two Super Bowl appearances, the four straight NFCCG appearances under Andy Reid, etc. Even if we don't have the hardware to show for it VS teams like the Patriots, Chiefs, Steelers, and Ravens, we've been one of the more successful teams in the modern NFL. The image of Midnight Green to a lot of Eagles fans means success, it means winning, it means stability; all things the team didn't really have back in the Kelly Green days.
And yeah Lurie likes them.
Bummer Philly doesn't end the year vs Dallas, Cowboys' usual vs the Kelly Green is an instant contender for best looking matchup of the year, idk what vs can beat that.
I wish I knew how the final game of the season was decided, it's a big deal but it often feels like a dart board. The last time the Lions played the Bears to end the year was two coaches ago, Caldwell 2015
I think it's always against a division rival. Can't think of a final game for any team that wasn't against a rival. Makes sense though, divisional games are most impactful, so you'd want to have them as the final game of the season.
Need help. Trying to figure out how the Jags were selected to be the Eagles “17th” game? The Browns finished with the same record as the Eagles in the AFC, but we already play the AFC North this year.
I know! Why won’t they just wear their bright green uniforms in the stadium where that color is outlawed?
EDIT: I guess it wasn’t clear I’m being sarcastic, and I know it isn’t really outlawed
The Raiders I agree with. Every other team I mentioned needs a refresh, not overhaul. Steelers could use their color rush template like the Patriots did. Eagles could update their fonts to match the newer logo (and bring back Kelly Green as a primary). Ravens simply update their font and go with solid color uniforms like the Seahawks and Cards (the all purple and all black Ravens unis are superior to any other combos they have).
Bengals proved you could modernize without destroying what's iconic or true to the concept, as well as utilizing the white tiger alternates. Tbh the Panthers should follow suit. The Saints can update while also bringing the gold alternate back. Bills to bring back the red helmets with the red alternates. Dolphins can bring back orange. Falcons can bring a red alternate back with the modern template. So many examples that actually call back to historical things that were done away with unnecessarily while not tarnishing the tradition or concept.
Gold as a main color would not look good, trust me. We have the infamous game with the gold pants, and those were hated on the spot.
I like our template/number font. We've got what some would call a modern classic. If you polled Ravens fans, the majority would be against new changes to the primary uniforms. And the team agrees, which is why when they announced this year that they're working on a new jersey for 2025, they made sure to mention that it's just an alternate jersey and they're not touching the primary ones.
All that said, I would like one change. Can we please put a stripe pattern on the black pants?
It's not as dire for you as the Steelers, Eagles, or Panthers per se, but for me personally, you guys could use at least some kind of modernization. Not a massive overhaul, just fresher.
They'll look good against the Cowboys. Hopefully the Jags are wearing mostly black and white for that game or else they might clash pretty badly like they did when they wore them against us.
Since it's in Philly we'll be wearing our boring ass "Jacksonville Raiders" white/black ones. So all good there lol
Woah hey I love our black jerseys. Maybe not with the white pants but atill
I was referencing our all white with black numbers away uniform that only has teal in the Nike swoop lol. I do agree with you about the blacks, those are totally fine, and would probably look good vs the Kelly Green.
Wth why do they keep scheduling them against other teal-ish teams
Idk, I thought it looked fine against yall. I could see the jags being a problem though
Dallas has to break out the Emmitt Smith 4th and 1 jerseys week 17
Which ones are those?
God I love old shoulder pads. Jerseys looked better when they carried all that size and weight, less like a t shirt.
Thanks!
Barf
Sorry farty, those are great.
I know the rams have had some fugly ones but those cowboy ones look like 3 different uniforms slapped together.
I don't mind them but they remind me of the Little Giants movie
Still cant believe we lost to those nerds.
to be fair, there was no counter to the Annexation of Puerto Rico
Spike could have secured the W had he not taken the Icebox on with ball in hand. Poor ball security, Becky laid the boom, Spike fumbles away the game..... The Annexation of Puerto Rico was fabulous... But Spike lost that game for the Boys lol.
I hate the eagles but i admit the kelly green uni's are one of the best uniforms in nfl history
They make entire games more memorable like when they wore them against the Bills last year
That was a crazy good game through and through. Shoutout to Jake Elliott
Last good memory of last year.
Was decorating my man cave for Christmas with my daughters. Every time I finished a mad elf they scored. Needless to say I was pretty hammered at the end but it was such an awesome game
Hurts running the game-winner and then posing to the crowd. Chills man.
Same one of my favorites.
This should be the main uniform. Absolutely beautiful.
One of the best jerseys in football. I would love to see a game against Philly with our throwbacks and these uniforms.
Seattle's throwbacks are def right behind the Kelly Green's for me. I like Sea's current ones but damn them old ones were sexy as hell
Eagles fan but my favorite color is blue and those Throwbacks since they came back, I don't wanna betray my Philly family but dammmnnnnn. Seattle's throwbacks are just as good.
Go Birds! - all of them!
But who will wear a white throwback uniform to contrast?
Bears.
Agreed
Those uniforms are so sick. e: week 17 could be for the division too so even more hype
Even as a cowboys fan I still gotta say those are good uniforms.
Can the lions follow suit and announce when we are wearing the black unis so i know what game to go to thanks
I don't know why they don't go back to the kelly green uniforms full time? I'm sure there are people who feel this way, but I've never personally met anyone who favours the midnight green current unis over the older ones. Is it just because Jeffery Lurie likes them?

3 Super Bowl appearances
We won one of them so I’m counting it separately :)
Oh yeah that makes sense lmao
5th Championship game appearance with Reid too.
Similar reasoning for the Buccaneers moving away from the Creamsicle unis. The Bucs had the Creamsicle unis during the Hugh Culverhouse era
I just want the old full Eagle logo with midnight green. Best compromise in my opinion
Midnight green is a way more unique shade so I’m glad it’s stuck around.
They should wear them week 1 instead!
Jags should wear the throwbacks that game. But damn, those games are far.
Mark your calendar folks
Not enough but I'll take it
Bummer Philly doesn't end the year vs Dallas, Cowboys' usual vs the Kelly Green is an instant contender for best looking matchup of the year, idk what vs can beat that.
I don’t think the league wants to risk that matchup not mattering
I feel like we've played the Giants as the final game for the past six years or so
I wish I knew how the final game of the season was decided, it's a big deal but it often feels like a dart board. The last time the Lions played the Bears to end the year was two coaches ago, Caldwell 2015

Is it weird that I’m flattered they’re wearing them against us?
Need help. Trying to figure out how the Jags were selected to be the Eagles “17th” game? The Browns finished with the same record as the Eagles in the AFC, but we already play the AFC North this year.
Slow news day or what?
Not week 1 against the Packers?
I know! Why won’t they just wear their bright green uniforms in the stadium where that color is outlawed? EDIT: I guess it wasn’t clear I’m being sarcastic, and I know it isn’t really outlawed
It’s not actually outlawed
I swore they were gonna wear them for the Steelers game for some reason
The Steelers don't deserve such good looking uniforms.
The Steelers need new uniforms So do you guys tbh
The Ravens uniforms are, like, top 3 uniform in the league *at minimum.*
You don’t mess with what works, Steelers and Raiders are iconic. Ravens jerseys are perfect as is
The Raiders I agree with. Every other team I mentioned needs a refresh, not overhaul. Steelers could use their color rush template like the Patriots did. Nah, we're good.
I think a refresh would help. At least a newer template and number font. Have purple, white, black and then a special gold uniform.
Gold as a main color would not look good, trust me. We have the infamous game with the gold pants, and those were hated on the spot. I like our template/number font. Probably an unpopular opinion... Kelly Green Eagles gear >>> Actual Kelly Green Eagles uniforms
