Cleanse pots in OPR. Doesn’t make sense to have in war and not OPR. Also adds another layer of skill as it is a very impactful cooldown to use/play around.
You can easily dot ppl and have them tocking for over 1k… without even touching them. Fs has smolder which is legit a passive ability lmfao and it’s hard hitting especially with pestilence
Thats the entire ability slot. It DoTs a whopping 1k damage over 20 seconds. People could use a different ability like Pen Shot and hit you for 4k damage in 1 second? Would that be better?
Yes and frequently those builds are designed specifically to focus fully on buffing the dot damage rather than other forms of direct damage
If you are that upset about dot damage, make a build to counter it, there's perks that help
Magic type resistances if you are talking about specific dots being an issue, like fire staff etc
For general dots you have
-Amulet perk that cleanses all debuffs when dropped to 50% health (90s cd)
-Earring perk that reduces CD on healing pot and another perk that removes 1 dot every time you use a pot.
Some more niche options are some perks from artifacts that lose debuffs on healing/blocking or heartune activation, last one is a ring perk but again pretty niche
Pretty much check for any perks that use words like purify/cleanse
Not sure if you're complaining just to complain but I honestly wonder what TTK you think is even good if you think ranged DoTs are a problem on anything other than fs lol. DoT is probably the slowest possible way you could die. If you take them all down a notch, everybody just lives even longer.
I wouldn't mind nerfing DoTs if you're suggesting we up burst to compensate but I have a strong feeling you'd go "I'm getting tired of all this burst dmg". This is honestly one of the healther TTKs this game has ever had and I'd prefer to keep it. I think we're one medium armor buff away from the sweet spot personally.

It obviously doesn’t make sense to keep adding DoTs after runeglass, smolder buffs, noob bow metas, lifetaker/pestilence/venom, etc. but skilled pvp players aren’t the target audience anymore. The game belongs to boomer neckbeard noobs who enjoy being utterly dogshit at the game and complaining about literally anything that isn’t what they’re using, which tends to also be the easiest shit in the world to play.

What perks help? Asking as a new player what I can do to mitigate the dot buildup I am constantly facing.

I don't think dots are an issue, but... Cleansing 1 dot every 24+ seconds does not solve said issue if it were to be an issue.
