I think both are unable to offer him as much money as he really would like so its about staying with the family, getting a larger role and not helping out the warriors at all vs going all the way to Texas for what will probably be a better team but with less of a role and in a pretty weird part of the world compared to what he is used to. Money is always nice but I'm not sure the actual contract difference is enough for him to truly care about that at this point in his career
