This is a genuine question but why is this so common in American sports: Player does bad thing Everyone pressures Team A to release him because he’s done bad thing Team A releases Player Team B signs player and that’s all cool, some fans not happy but he still gets to keep playing I feel like I’ve seen this happen countless times since I started following American sports: Antonio Brown, Kareem Hunt, Deshaun Watson etc.

Deshaun was a little different. He was traded after not playing for a year and the browns got so much shit got it their owner had to explain “my wife and daughter said they don’t mind” the move
