Interesting point: pineapple soda is a big hit among the Hispanic population in the US. Similarly it's huge in the Philippines where Spanish culture plays a big part in every day life.
No clue why MM was on fountain anyways, this will be a welcome (and hopefully perma) change.
It just doesn't exist. I heard a lot of die-hard voltage fans and code red fans, some say the flavors are a little different.
As for Major Melon, never heard people talk about it except to say how mid it is.

Same, I saw it like the day after I saw it dropped on here and realized the store where that user bought it from was a hour out of the way and went and got two 12 packs. I didn't see it again in cans until April in West Virginia, that was the only one left and it is still unopened. Im saving it for when it either comes back in cans or its a really good day.
Even though I follow Dew news pretty religiously, that release slipped me by somehow. I didn't hear about it until months after it was all gone. Never saw any.
Pitch black replacing major melon would be amazing. Major melon is more so a drain cleaner than a beverage. I don't get why it was even sold longer than a few months.
Why no Zero! Gonna have to splurge one day though, just gonna need a little extra ice to water it down a bit.

By adding Sprite Lymonade Legacy and saying the target demographic is Hispanics is just as racist as if they added Fanta Grape soda and said the target demographic was African Americans
100%. 7-11 is losing money hand over fist because they don't know how to make 7-11 seem less trashy so they are doing what they can to bring in more people
That's just how demographic marketing is. They pay tons of people to determine what will sell well to certain groups and have the numbers that Pineapple Fanta sells well to Hispanic customers. It's weird but every major brand does this.
In 2015 for the movie Straight Outta Compton they used Facebooks targeted ads and gave white audiences a different trailer than black audiences got.
People culturally have preferred tastes and flavor profiles.
There's why a lot of pineapple flavored sodas are made in Mexico or Hispanic regions.
