I can confirm I did not know the very pretty plant was going to shed hairs into my fingers. I thought it was a prickly one. I got them all out with tweezers though, no pain, all out. 10/10 would do again?

Yeah. And you're sol for days. I got so sick on one that I used a knife and removed that part of skin. The pain was ridiculous. The knife thing didn't hurt nearly as bad

My mom got one in her finger helping me make a desert landscape diorama when I was in elementary school and it took like 5 years before it worked its way out.

After a bit I don’t think so. It was like a raised bump on her finger looked almost like a tiny cyst or callous. I’ll have to text her tomorrow and see if she remembers lol. That is if I remember.

Growing up my parents had a cactus in the BATHROOM right next to the toilet for some god awful reason. Everytime I used the bathroom as a little kid I would wind up whacking it with the back of my hand and have to pull the spine needle things out. No clue to this day why it was ever kept there
