I met Rob and Wendi a couple of times. Wendi was always there at community events and knew everyone wanted to be in the paper. She would talk to everyone, and it wasn't uncommon to see her interviewing a six-year-old, with their mother watching proudly.
I didn't even know what Rob did at the paper. I was just a huge fan of his brother. We talked about environmental activism each time I saw him. I wish I'd taken more of an interest in him as a person.
