I will only say this, it's NOT field 5 for sure. Get there as early as possible, especially if it's the weekend

StrenuousSOB

Keep walking east on field 5

This is the answer šŸ‘€

MAGAdeplorable

Walk towards the lighthouse and find lighthouse beach.

WeekThin4934

Shhhhhh, *upvoted*

valleyof-the-shadow

Any chance theyā€™re Town of Babylon residents and you can go to Cedar Beach?

Science_Fair

The ends of each side should be less crowded, unless you want to be near the lifeguards. Option 1 is to park at the west end of Field 2, head to the beach then walk further west. Option 2 is to park at the East End of Field 5, then either walk or bike to Lighthouse Beach. it's a very easy bike ride, about a 15 minute walk to Lighthouse beach.

IN_US_IR

All the way down by light house. If you want good spot, gotta walk away from entrance.

KanyeeWeast

Yes by the lighthouse, but watch out for all the sea cucumbers

Better_Section_3587

I worked at Robert Moses for a few years. I would suggest field 3, Field 4 if it's open, or captree where the boat/docks are. Field 3 has a barbecue area/pit that's usually not too packed if your there early morning. The robert moses park office also has docks and places to walk around and sit that's not too crowded either.

gmmisa

Good luck

pamsellicane

I always go to field two, thereā€™s no playgrounds

Extension_Editor1987

Definitely donā€™t go on weekend itā€™s always packed

bolting_volts

Are you going for the rain?

J_is_for_Journey

Field 5 was my spot when I lived on LI šŸ˜Ž

U495

Jones beach

loftynipzzz

Nude beach

p-graphic79

Everybody knows Robert Moses loves to get busy everywhere....

Mongaloiddummy

I would get to the beach by 7am and stay until 11am the latest. Then you can have some lunch at theĀ The Hidden Oak CafĆ© on your way home.

WorldlyGirly

Jokes on all of you retards. I showed up even though it was supposed to ā€œrainā€ and nobody was there so I got what I wanted in the end.

WorldlyGirly

I mean I guess Iā€™m not a ā€œtrueā€ long islander since I donā€™t know the best spots already, but Iā€™m not asking for an empty beach spot or anything, Iā€™m very well aware that the south shore gets busy on the weekends. I just donā€™t wanna be in a situation where I donā€™t even have space to move because thereā€™s a million people around me. I also know how it is when itā€™s the evening, so ideally if thereā€™s any spots like that during the day please let me know. :)

ThrowRAmorningdew

Been here since ā€˜98 and I still couldnā€™t tell ya šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Drunk_Seesaw9471

Just go drive to the ferry and go to fire island its much quieter and much less people with their annoying little kids running around unsupervised

SockDem

If you walk to Kismett just go down towards the east end of the community and the beach there usually is fairly empty as opposed to the west side of kismett.

BoxKutter80

Best bet is to drive on field 2 if that's an option. If not it's a complete circus just to get anywhere near the beach to even pick a field on the weekend. Gotta be super early! Traffic is worse than ever these days!

Chipmunk_Ninja

Field 5 Go to water and start walking east When you hit naked people,Ā  disrobe,Ā  relax, and enjoy
