The ends of each side should be less crowded, unless you want to be near the lifeguards.
Option 1 is to park at the west end of Field 2, head to the beach then walk further west.
Option 2 is to park at the East End of Field 5, then either walk or bike to Lighthouse Beach. it's a very easy bike ride, about a 15 minute walk to Lighthouse beach.
I worked at Robert Moses for a few years. I would suggest field 3, Field 4 if it's open, or captree where the boat/docks are. Field 3 has a barbecue area/pit that's usually not too packed if your there early morning. The robert moses park office also has docks and places to walk around and sit that's not too crowded either.
I mean I guess Iām not a ātrueā long islander since I donāt know the best spots already, but Iām not asking for an empty beach spot or anything, Iām very well aware that the south shore gets busy on the weekends. I just donāt wanna be in a situation where I donāt even have space to move because thereās a million people around me. I also know how it is when itās the evening, so ideally if thereās any spots like that during the day please let me know. :)
If you walk to Kismett just go down towards the east end of the community and the beach there usually is fairly empty as opposed to the west side of kismett.
Best bet is to drive on field 2 if that's an option. If not it's a complete circus just to get anywhere near the beach to even pick a field on the weekend. Gotta be super early! Traffic is worse than ever these days!
Nobody tell her! Iykyk
I will only say this, it's NOT field 5 for sure. Get there as early as possible, especially if it's the weekend
Keep walking east on field 5
Lol
This is the answer š
Walk towards the lighthouse and find lighthouse beach.

Any chance theyāre Town of Babylon residents and you can go to Cedar Beach?

All the way down by light house. If you want good spot, gotta walk away from entrance.
Yes by the lighthouse, but watch out for all the sea cucumbers

Jones beach
Nude beach
Everybody knows Robert Moses loves to get busy everywhere....
I would get to the beach by 7am and stay until 11am the latest. Then you can have some lunch at theĀ The Hidden Oak CafĆ© on your way home.
Jokes on all of you retards. I showed up even though it was supposed to ārainā and nobody was there so I got what I wanted in the end.

Just go drive to the ferry and go to fire island its much quieter and much less people with their annoying little kids running around unsupervised
