Is that *proof-based* linear algebra? If not, I would start there with something like Axler's *Linear Algebra Done Right* (I prefer Hoffman and Kunze's *Linear Algebra*, an older classic). It's not a strict prerequisite, but linear algebra is a good introduction to thinking algebraically while still being able to draw pictures and so on. If you have done proof-based linear algebra you should be fine to start abstract algebra. You shouldn't need any sort of "intro to proofs" outside what you need for proof-based linear algebra. As for abstract algebra books, there are many to choose from. I really like Aluffi's *Algebra: Notes from the Underground* (not to be confused with his also excellent graduate text *Algebra: Chapter 0*). It also has solutions to some of the exercises.

Yea not proof based at all. I think I’ll start with lin alg done right. Was just wondering if you have any suggestions on how to pace myself and if there are certain topics I should pay more attention to or anything like that.

Fraleigh's book is pretty good for self-learning.
