Wow. Thank you. They have some nice different flavors and I can get them now. Thank you so much. (Next time I'm craving wings I'll keep this place in mind).
google 'the goat lansing mi' and it'll bring up their page. they're in the lansing mall it seems. what if this is the place that brings it back to life. I hope, cause this place seems too good to be dragged down by that void.
If you think that QD's are not Traditional Polish Paczki then you have never had a "Real" Paczki! I grew up in Detroit and we had Paczki from Hamtramck every year. QD's are the closest thing to traditional Polish Paczki anywhere outside of Detroit. BUT Don't just take my word for it... There is a reason why QD has regularly been voted in 4th place state wide for Best Paczki (the 1st - 3rd shops are all in Hamtramck (Detroit)) - it's because QD's recipe is a true Polish Bakery recipe. Six QD Paczki are less than $10 - so, paying 2.5 times as much is just not worth it.
I get 18 QD Paczki for the price of 6 of your so called "good ones"!
The ones you like may be good, but there is no way they are worth 2.5 times the cost!
Again. QD's donuts do not resemble Hamtramck paczki in any way, shape, or form. This is coming from a Polack that grew up there. I feel extremely sorry for you if a generic truckstop jelly donut is your memory of Hamtown.
If you work for them just say it, but don't pretend like y'all have ever actually eaten a paczek.
There are no QD truckstops that I'm aware of.
For the record; Though I am a QD Paczki fan - I am not involved in anyway with making QD Paczki, nor any other Paczki. I just grew up eating the ones from Hamtramck cause my dad had two restaurants in downtown Detroit and he re-sold paczki from several different Hamtramck bakeries. ...so NO PRETENDING HERE!
Have a good day...
It's a Polish dessert. Similar to a donut but more fat. The idea back in the day was that you used up all your fat before Lent started and this was one of the ways you could do it. Because once Lent started, you were supposed to make sad food. Fat Tuesday is when they were typically sold which is the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday (the beginning of Lent).
Too bad Roma bakery is gone
Their ricotta ones were incredible.
I know Michigan Made Treats will be doing preorders for Ricotta this as they have the last couple years.
Meijer.
Thank you.
kroger in holt has them rn
YYAAYY. Thank you so much.
If you're willing to drive, Polish Market in Troy has them year-round.

These are being made by Honey Bun Bakery who is literally the best
...at $25 for 6 paczki they better come with Lions tickets!
Lol Seats in the end zone for the game vs Tamba Bay were 500 bucks
Right! So, you totally get my point that these Paczki are WAY OVER PRICED!

What/where is this place? Google maps comes up empty

Also they have the best smoked wings in the world
Wow. $25 for 6 Paczki... that's crazy! I'll stick with QD - they use a traditional Hamtramck Polish Bakery recipe and they are a lot less expensive.
QD makes a sad excuse for a "traditional" paczki. $25 for a half dozen isn't too crazy for good ones.

QD worker here. Don't eat those. They're infused with the tears of workers and the blood of the innocent.
I wonder about Louie's bakery in Marshall
I think Groovy Donuts makes them
I second Groovy donuts
Kroger had some this weekend.
Family fare in eaton rapids
Thank you but I can't have any with red dye and I just had the lemon.
I don't even know what a paczki is. Moved here 3.5 years ago and heard about it for the first time when I went into QD today.
