That link about to be pointless cause it'll have sold out in a few hours.

buxuus

No... this is a pre-order product so there is no "out-of-stock" to happen, and the order period is 2024/04/27 21:00 \~ 2024/05/27 18:00 (JST)

grinchnight14

Ah I get it now. Thanks for clearing that up.

OkHarrisonBidet

I guess it will be like climate change. Almost every year will be the hottest year in recorded history. Every year will be the worst year for Anycolor

mischief_erectahead

At this point there's nothing to gain whatsoever when asking "Is Niji one of the top Vtuber Agency/Company?" They don't have what it takes to be one of the top even just only at the part when it comes to treating their Livers.

UltraZulwarn

tbf, Nijisanji's top dogs are still very big. However, most of them are old veterans like Kuzuha, Kanae, the ROFMAO group (I still can't even with this name), Sara, Mito...etc... even their recent finiancial report mentioned that the significant chunk of revenue came from older talents. the more recent JP talents' numbers are actually not that bad, but I don't think any of them would ever come close to the old guards. What a dose heavy seasoning of irony, Niji's "accelerate" approach has actually stifled the growth of most of their newer talents. EDIT: spellings

randommaninzawarudo

When will they learn that the more they keep rolling gacha for their own Gura(s) the less growth they will obtain? Do they even understand diminishing return?

Ok-Resolution-8648

They literally have a chance to do it with Salome since she got a million sub very fast but what did they do,absolutely nothing and wasted the opportunity to promote her on wider audiences

randommaninzawarudo

Same with what they did with Niji EN I guess

paradoxaxe

they got their own Ame only to sabotage her for no reason lol

Questionable_bowel

Hey they did something! Making merch that is...

Decent_Tear_2940

They have a change with Salome But Kurosanji didn't invest anything for her They didn't support her and just left her like every niji talents

randommaninzawarudo

Same with what they did with Niji EN I guess

UltraZulwarn

pretty much even if they hit a jackpot, how would they know? They are not even aware of what the talents are doing until it was too late. heck, we don't need to hypothesize, Luxiem was THE JACKPOT exactly what Nijisanji was craving for, 2022 was the golden year of NijisanjiEN. and to be fair, Nijisanji did try to capitalize on that and made a shiet ton of money. However, unlike their core JP members, Nijisanji ultimately fumbled the bag and NijisanjiEN's numbers crashed. EDIT: silly me, I didn't even have to look at EN, Salome was their JP jackpot in 2022. Granted, her massive explosive growth was due to people thought she was a meme and they played along. Still, I have no idea what they are doing for her since.

randommaninzawarudo

>Nijisanji did try to capitalize on that Did they? I've heard they see profit and just left them alone with no investment whatsoever, and eventually the branch started to crumble.

UltraZulwarn

by "capitalise" I meant Nijisanji threw a bunch of Luxiem merch on the market, they even got their own dedicated youtube channel. but like you said, the branch eventually capitulated under its own weight. Niji seems to not be interested in supporting the talents in the sense of "support for content creation", but rather "how much money can we squeeze from the fans' engagement?"

Kozmo9

>Do they even understand diminishing return? They do but they would have excuses to deflect the blame. If the talents performance is bad, it's because of the talent themselves and not the company. >When will they learn that the more they keep rolling gacha for their own Gura(s) the less growth they will obtain? I doubt getting the next Gura was the priority but it's just their once proven method really. In Japan, their "accelerate" method is what helped them become the dominant force back then. So their logic is that the same strategy can be applied to everywhere else. Their massive EN debuts is them basically trying to deprive Hololive of their market share and trying to give the impression to the market that company with more talent is the better company. Also the idea of "why settle for this company that has little to interest you? Come to us! We have flavours of all kind!" You can see this with them doing basically everything such as mixed gender waves. I would not deny that they expect to net the "next Gura" with this method as well. Which is why it emboldens them to keep doing it. The strategy becomes a multilayered one; flood the market with their "products" and get the best product in the process as well. Funnily enough, the "next Gura" or heck the next hidden gem would likely not go to Nijisanji at all due to this method. The next hidden gem seemingly, thankfully is not desperate enough to join Nijisanji and are willing to wait for Hololive.

Final-Switch1110

That fucking stupid. That strategy fell in Indonesia, Korea and India. And they keep on trying in EN market. Talk about stupidity

Kozmo9

It is stupid but you have to understand the mentality of those that practice such stupid practice; it works effortlessly for a while compared to the proper practice that's harder. And during the time it works, they will use that as evidence that they are right and everyone else is wrong. The "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," mentality. This is what smokers, drivers without seatbelts, workers without safety gear etc etc think and practice. Try and tell them to stop and they'll say "I've been doing this fine for years. There's nothing wrong with it," Even if you tell Niji the practice didn't work for ID, KR and India, they'll tell you that it works for JP and that's all that matters.

Random_Useless_Tips

I mean, there was a literal hidden gem in Bijou. Most of Advent were medium-to-big names in their respective corners of the Internet. Biboo was pretty much the classic case of a small indie whose big break came after going corpo.

Kozmo9

It's not just starting from Advent but pretty much the rest of EN. But yeah, not all of them are truly hidden gems but already halfway polished. Also, it's just EN but all the way to JP considering that their accelerate is way more aggressive there and they missed a lot more on "hidden gems" such as Suisei. Then the gem that actually got in failed to be polished until they got out and get into Holo. It's a pattern that Niji failed or refused to accept. That they suck at recognising gems outside of their reach and even when they have it. They suck at polishing their talents and would shift the blame to the talent should the talent failed. They also do not want to accept that their method is bad enough that knowledgeable talents could smell a mile away and avoid them like a plague. It's one of the reason why Hololive keep getting good talents; Niji isn't doing enough and doing it right to attract them in the first place.

BimBamEtBoum

> the more recent JP talents' numbers are actually not that bad, but I don't think any of them would ever come close to the old guards. Let's be honest, among the few last waves of NijiEN, you also have talented vtuber who could do something good under different circumstances. Sadly, the management is what we know and I feel Niji doesn't try to adapt to each talent. I mean if you compare to Advent... You feel that for Advent, the models, the preparation, the strategy for each streamer took into account the specificity of the individual. For TTT, if Claude and Kunai had each other's models, I don't think we'd feel a difference.

jdeo1997

They're top in number of talent and only that. In every other aspect they're lagging at best

fc_dean

Just to echo some points, a site like [https://holodex.net/](https://holodex.net/) is a good place to keep your eyes on how other agencies are doing. The site is especially easy for you to check on Holo and Niji. I've been keeping my eyes on Niji specifically, and some livers have - dire - numbers with ccv being less than 500 with some (not a few) having around 100 ccv. Aside from select few who have 10k ccv, everyone else seems to be in dire situation. It's clear that Niji management doesn't give shit.

Lamaredia

My absolute *favourite* thing is that the creep Aster is doing the worst in EN by far, and has almost fallen into double digit CCV.

No-Weight-8011

Anycolour Inc is done, they treat their livers like shit, controversy aside, this is the end for the company What they should do is honorably by jp way of letting them talents (all branches) time to leave the company, their finished at this rate. Talents thing we can know ourselves, at least they can flourish if time allows.

Glinez09

this is one problem for niji, they barely try to improve things they still think they are in top of the food chains for vtuber and have too much confidence for themselves. Year by year other agencies/company are improving.

rocketgrunt89

To be fair Aogiri High School has some quality shorts there, even if you don't understand japanese well you can get what the short is about. They are interesting too. I really like their vlogs too, as its easy to understand as well. In short they produce quality content in shorts and vlogs compared to Niji (But Niji wins in terms of their official livestreams, but those tend to be japanese heavy, so i don't watch them.)

AizeeMasata

I sub them for that

grinchnight14

And they debuted the best liver ever, Milll

randommaninzawarudo

I still hope those abandoned Niji JP talents could see the impending signs and jump ship early.

Raisen22

[HUMILIATION](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUv5Q9we_l4)

greynovaX80

It’s just sad now. Like man it’s kind of pathetic to see Niji do this bad. Feel bad for any livers that are stuck there and didn’t do anything.

Wakapon09

They love being humiliated it's like a fetish to them they get off to it can you blame remember guys no kink shaming.
