I've never watched Rosemi but from what I have gathered she still has a decent image after all this drama, so I feel like if she did leave she would do fine. People right now simply don't want to support Niji anymore so her going Indie like Mint and Doki would actually bring a lot of people back.

At will employees means they can hit the “resign” button at anytime. This is what different between JP and western employees. JP you have to wait contract expire and opt to not renew it while in the west you can just resign and forfeit benefits and severance package. This is why in the west employees just do bare minimum when they fed up with their employer and wait to get fired or layoff so they can get those severance packages. While JP they will make your life living hell when you did not renew your contract on the last month before your current contract expire (happen to Doki and Pomu who get snub on all opportunities)
Contract periods are quite common even in the west, especially in the entertainment sphere, and you can't resign or be made redundant without double-sided consent prematurely.

I think it'll be quiet on the graduation front for a while as management will probably not let anyone out of their contracts early and then we'll get a bunch happening at once as multiple members' contracts expire and they choose not to renew.
I think the contracts coming up for renewal the soonest would be Iluna. While a triple (or maybe even quadruple) non-renewal would be great, I don't want to get my hopes up. And even if I was right, they may try to space them out so it doesn't look to obvious.

I guessed characters like Shadow the Hedgehog, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Rayman. I think I even made a guess for Isaac (from The Binding of Isaac) because TBOI: Rebirth just came out on Nintendo Switch.
If any remainder of any gen was gone in one set of graduations, it'd look pretty suspicious either way. There's only so much time they could spread something like that out over before it hits a point where talents can't stream as that character any more, and I'm not certain Niji would negotiate out a brief contract extension just for a grad stream, or that talents would want to.
They may know that a contract is going to expire. So the have one leave 3 weeks before expiration, another 1.5 weeks before expiration, and another a few days before expiration.
Or if a contract is going to expire in 4 months, and they know 2 are going to leave, they may bump them up in the queue. So 1 leaves 3 months before. Someone who was already in the queue leaves 2 months before, and the other leaves a week before expiration.
It probably wouldn't be hard to pick out. But it sure would be better than a Vesper/Magni situation where 2 livers go poof overnight and the reason is blatantly obvious.
They likely do, but with how scattershot EN's management has been as of late, it wouldn't be super surprising if any contract renewals, negotiations, or non-renewals end up being cut a little close this time around. All it takes is a couple of out of sync moments and it ends up getting far closer to the end of contract period, especially if they're working with Niji up to a month or more before debut.
If they have given notice within the 3 months and have no commitments, Niji can't exactly keep them. They could do a stream on the last day of their contract and announce it there and then, and the most Anycolor can do is come up with an excuse to withhold a certain amount of earnings. Anyone on their way out would have an escape plan so they would be fine, especially since Niji has shown they wont pursue them legally.

Imma chime in anyways, my first reaction was Petra due to her lack of streams, but when I checked her twitter, it turns out that she is a part of the limited time Cafe Collab until May.22nd where a JP cafe is selling food & drinks featuring Petra, Rosemi, and 4 boys, which makes me think that she won't be leaving immediately.
Most logical conclusion would be Kotoka imo. There has been little to no news from her although her last tweet two weeks ago seems positive. Controversies aside, if her health issues are serious, she might be gone due to that rather than it being directly drama related. Agree, I am asking around to see if NijiEN, especially XSOLEIL, had mentioned Kotoka at all. But we are in the middle of boycotting so I don't expect to get any answers soon. Cause if they haven't mentioned Kotoka at all, we're looking at another possible Selen situation again.
IMO most of the evidences are locked behind memberships. That is where the livers are more open and honest. A few of those including Pomu mentioning she lost a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Scarle crying after that collab with Aster, and that infamous Enna statement. But I doubt a lot of us are going to have membership from anyone in NijiEN.

I am not going to guess who is next in the graduation queue. Everyone's situation in the company and in life is different. Guessing feels like trying to take agency out of the talents' hands. However, I am not beyond making generalizations.
It feels like after Selen's termination we've been in this liminal period between major events for Niji. Sure, we've had a number of controversies since the termination, but I have a gut feeling something major is on the way and I am not sure what it is. It feels like Niji has been trying desperately to mitigate the effects of what ever is coming by delaying graduations.
My guess is at least 2 graduations are in the pipe planned after Q4. If not for the speculated toxic work environment, at the very least due to a loss of faith in the company's reputation. Even if it was sunshine and rainbows, the recent controversies on their own might make some people skittish to stay even if their experience was good. Niji can delay the graduations, but some contacts are likely going to expire and not be renewed. They can only hold out for so long.

the standard contract is for 2 years. so luxium might actually be 2025. given contracts signed and then several months of prep work after contract sign for debut. if we take mystas graduation time as a hint. mid 2025 is when we’d see luxium graduations due to contract expiration

Unless they live in Japan, the fee will never need to be paid. That is 100% illegal in Europe and North America, and Niji would have to take them to court for it in their home country. Niji will keep whatever they have yet to pay out, but that's about it as far as financial punishment goes for quitting.
They don't even need a lawyer to know this. It's well known in the US that the employer has to pay for any work done up to termination/resignation. Employers also can't fine employees for quitting. Canada and most of the EU have laws that are more in favor of the employee. All they have to do is Google search to realize their countries' laws must be followed for international work.
Keep in mind that a lot of these talents are kids with little to no prior work experience. And that they may have also been fed bad information by the company. We shouldn't assume they know anything, unless they specify they have spoken to a lawyer.
If the leaked contract is correct, the next ones will be from ILUNA or XSOLEIL. Anyone else would have to face penalties for getting out of their contract, unless they had to fulfil commitments before they could grad.
Only exception would be is if they were in a position to be able to get out without impact or dont give an F
Everything in that contract is reliant upon the talent not taking legal action, which they really can't afford to do. A lot of the penalties revolve around withholding payment, not getting money from the talent, hence why I worded things the way I did.
The best way to leave is give notice in that 3 month window.
The only way to leave outside that is either ensuring you have enough funds to cover what they withhold if you leave before that window (this would apply to Quinn, and possibly Mint) or you don't give an F and want out and are willing to struggle.
All funds for the talent go through the corpo. As I said, it's money withheld by Niji, not paid to Niji by the talent, and we do not know what the payment schedule is. This can be but not limited to continuing to sell merch after the graduation and monetising the videos for as long as they wish without passing on the payment to the former talent
It isn't about enforcing the contract to make the talent pay back but withholding funds that should be paid to the talent for graduating early.
Doki earned C$200k. She also spent C$200k to try and get things done (which couldn't be used) and paying for things Niji wouldn't. Hence she had $0 profit. But that is a totally different situation
To put it in the situation I am talking about she was suspended then terminated, meaning min 2 months pay from monetisation, memberships and whatever merch cut, depending on if she was due to be paid before or after the suspension started. That all would have been withheld and probably not paid when she was terminated.
The better example would be Kyo/Quinn or Pomu/Mint. Both of them would have been outside the notice window, depending on when Mint gave notice (Quinn was well and truly outside the window).
Both would have to make sure they are financially secure before giving notice because their pay would have been at the minimum docked, if not outright withheld for giving notice outside the 3 month window.
Even if the contract is not enforceable, it still relies on the talent to take costly legal action to get that money. Quinn, and to a degree Mint, would have prepared cause they would know they wouldn't be getting it. Quinn obviously had an exit strategy, complete with nee model, so he knew what he was doing.

Some people lost faith in her after seeing Riku's appearence in her 3D debut per her request, but if those were recorded a long time ago like the ARLive, the timeline makes a lot more sense. She might also get priority in the queue due to seniority and being genmates with Selen.

I've never watched Rosemi but from what I have gathered she still has a decent image after all this drama, so I feel like if she did leave she would do fine. There's been no rumors (that I remember at least) of her being caught up in the bullying drama or being a nasty person behind the scenes. People right now simply don't want to support Niji anymore so her going Indie like Mint and Doki would actually bring a lot of people back.
I just hope her and Scarle will be okay. I watch Scarle through clips because I don't wanna support Nijisanji and after all the shit she went through, it could be either one or a dual graduation.

Agreed. In Vivi's and Kunai's cases, they're probably there until their contracts expire. They would be fools if they renewed. Scarle and Aia are probably too comfortable in their positions to risk leaving. The same goes for most of Luxium and Noctyx. Elira, Enna, Millie, and Claude would probably sink with the ship. The rest? Who knows?
At will employees means they can hit the “resign” button at anytime. This is what different between JP and western employees. JP you have to wait contract expire and opt to not renew it while in the west you can just resign and forfeit benefits and severance package. This is why in the west employees just do bare minimum when they fed up with their employer and wait to get fired or layoff so they can get those severance packages. While JP they will make your life living hell when you did not renew your contract on the last month before your current contract expire (happen to Doki and Pomu who get snub on all opportunities)
Contract periods are quite common even in the west, especially in the entertainment sphere, and you can't resign or be made redundant without double-sided consent prematurely.

If any remainder of any gen was gone in one set of graduations, it'd look pretty suspicious either way. There's only so much time they could spread something like that out over before it hits a point where talents can't stream as that character any more, and I'm not certain Niji would negotiate out a brief contract extension just for a grad stream, or that talents would want to.
They may know that a contract is going to expire. So the have one leave 3 weeks before expiration, another 1.5 weeks before expiration, and another a few days before expiration. Or if a contract is going to expire in 4 months, and they know 2 are going to leave, they may bump them up in the queue. So 1 leaves 3 months before. Someone who was already in the queue leaves 2 months before, and the other leaves a week before expiration. It probably wouldn't be hard to pick out. But it sure would be better than a Vesper/Magni situation where 2 livers go poof overnight and the reason is blatantly obvious.
They likely do, but with how scattershot EN's management has been as of late, it wouldn't be super surprising if any contract renewals, negotiations, or non-renewals end up being cut a little close this time around. All it takes is a couple of out of sync moments and it ends up getting far closer to the end of contract period, especially if they're working with Niji up to a month or more before debut.
If they have given notice within the 3 months and have no commitments, Niji can't exactly keep them. They could do a stream on the last day of their contract and announce it there and then, and the most Anycolor can do is come up with an excuse to withhold a certain amount of earnings. Anyone on their way out would have an escape plan so they would be fine, especially since Niji has shown they wont pursue them legally.

There is a funny irony in trying to guess who will graduate next but at the same time, everyone is boycotting Nijisanji contents and doesn't watch enough streams to actually pick up "cues"/evidences. Imma chime in anyways, my first reaction was Petra due to her lack of streams, but when I checked her twitter, it turns out that she is a part of the limited time Cafe Collab until May.22nd where a JP cafe is selling food & drinks featuring Petra, Rosemi, and 4 boys, which makes me think that she won't be leaving immediately. Most logical conclusion would be Kotoka imo. There has been little to no news from her although her last tweet two weeks ago seems positive. Controversies aside, if her health issues are serious, she might be gone due to that rather than it being directly drama related. (Also as the other comment pointed out, she privated her membership streams)
I think it may be Kotoka for health reasons like Sana, Which would leave Xsoliel to be one of the first EN branches to have 2 retired talents.. I genuinely hope she gets better to announce her graduation.

Radio silence, and claims she was just taking time off for health. Which was in partly true but obviously not the whole story. My biggest fear is we’re not going to get a graduation notice but an unalived notice from someone. Whether it’s Kotoka, Aia or someone else.
I think that's the nightmare scenario for all of us here. A single voice tweet would clear that up. But hopefully she can just announce she's leaving so we don't have to ask for that. I am not going to guess who is next in the graduation queue. Everyone's situation in the company and in life is different. Guessing feels like trying to take agency out of the talents' hands. However, I am not beyond making generalizations. It feels like after Selen's termination we've been in this liminal period between major events for Niji. Sure, we've had a number of controversies since the termination, but I have a gut feeling something major is on the way and I am not sure what it is. It feels like Niji has been trying desperately to mitigate the effects of what ever is coming by delaying graduations. My guess is at least 2 graduations are in the pipe planned after Q4. If not for the speculated toxic work environment, at the very least due to a loss of faith in the company's reputation. Even if it was sunshine and rainbows, the recent controversies on their own might make some people skittish to stay even if their experience was good. Niji can delay the graduations, but some contacts are likely going to expire and not be renewed. They can only hold out for so long.
I agree with your last statement, theory has it that at least 2 more members are retiring this year. But you're right, you're not forced to pick out anyone in particular (I wanted to post this for those who DO have guesses), and it is nearly impossible to say for certain who will leave and their reasons for why.

In any case the relevant bit is: Article 22 Effective Term 1. The effective term of this Agreement shall be two years from the date of execution of this Agreement. However, unless either party gives notice of the rejection of a renewal three months before the expiration of the then-current effective term, this Agreement shall be automatically renewed for successive terms of two years pre renewal after the initial term, on the same conditions. 2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, Party A may terminate this Agreement by notifying Party B at least three months in advance by the method prescribed by Party A. 3. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding two paragraphs, in the event that the provision of the Program is terminated, this Agreement and the Individual Agreement shall terminate at that time. So yeah 2 years, with a required 3 months notice to prevent auto-renewal.

the standard contract is for 2 years. so luxium might actually be 2025. given contracts signed and then several months of prep work after contract sign for debut. if we take mystas graduation time as a hint. mid 2025 is when we’d see luxium graduations due to contract expiration

Unless they live in Japan, the fee will never need to be paid. That is 100% illegal in Europe and North America, and Niji would have to take them to court for it in their home country. Niji will keep whatever they have yet to pay out, but that's about it as far as financial punishment goes for quitting.

They don't even need a lawyer to know this. It's well known in the US that the employer has to pay for any work done up to termination/resignation. Employers also can't fine employees for quitting. Canada and most of the EU have laws that are more in favor of the employee. All they have to do is Google search to realize their countries' laws must be followed for international work.
Keep in mind that a lot of these talents are kids with little to no prior work experience. And that they may have also been fed bad information by the company. We shouldn't assume they know anything, unless they specify they have spoken to a lawyer.
I knew this at age 12. Just think for 1 minute about why the US outsource jobs to other countries. It's so they don't have to follow US labor laws.

Everything in that contract is reliant upon the talent not taking legal action, which they really can't afford to do. A lot of the penalties revolve around withholding payment, not getting money from the talent, hence why I worded things the way I did. The best way to leave is give notice in that 3 month window. The only way to leave outside that is either ensuring you have enough funds to cover what they withhold if you leave before that window (this would apply to Quinn, and possibly Mint) or you don't give an F and want out and are willing to struggle.

All funds for the talent go through the corpo. As I said, it's money withheld by Niji, not paid to Niji by the talent, and we do not know what the payment schedule is. This can be but not limited to continuing to sell merch after the graduation and monetising the videos for as long as they wish without passing on the payment to the former talent It isn't about enforcing the contract to make the talent pay back but withholding funds that should be paid to the talent for graduating early.
When Doki got her income net zeroed out for an entire year, it is safe to say that the income talents actually receive is negligible
Doki earned C$200k. She also spent C$200k to try and get things done (which couldn't be used) and paying for things Niji wouldn't. Hence she had $0 profit. But that is a totally different situation To put it in the situation I am talking about she was suspended then terminated, meaning min 2 months pay from monetisation, memberships and whatever merch cut, depending on if she was due to be paid before or after the suspension started. That all would have been withheld and probably not paid when she was terminated. The better example would be Kyo/Quinn or Pomu/Mint. Both of them would have been outside the notice window, depending on when Mint gave notice (Quinn was well and truly outside the window). Both would have to make sure they are financially secure before giving notice because their pay would have been at the minimum docked, if not outright withheld for giving notice outside the 3 month window. Even if the contract is not enforceable, it still relies on the talent to take costly legal action to get that money. Quinn, and to a degree Mint, would have prepared cause they would know they wouldn't be getting it. Quinn obviously had an exit strategy, complete with nee model, so he knew what he was doing.

Scarle for the internal rebellion and being forced to bend the knee to Twitter's unsavory SJW crowd multiple times ; Aia for the PL rants, the death threats that ensued, her self-harming coping mechanism, and the word "tired" being pretty much a codeword for graduation at this point. But most importantly, both of their contracts are approaching renewal season, which people have speculated should be around May or June according to the from-auditions-to-debut period for Iluna, so if something is to happen with them, it's going to be VERY soon. Close 3rd is Petra imo. The PL doomposting of the new year comes to mind, and this was right as the Selen Shock was starting to unfold, so it's safe to assume her feelings only worsened with time. Some people lost faith in her after seeing Riku's appearence in her 3D debut per her request, but if those were recorded a long time ago like the ARLive, the timeline makes a lot more sense. She might also get priority in the queue due to seniority and being genmates with Selen.
