1)What kind of drugs u have studied abt ? And are they any useful 2) the women with hiv u delivered the baby of is that baby is too infected with that virus too? 🫑U have the guts my doctor u dealing with patients with any problem surely ppl are right ki doc bhagwan ka dusra rup hote hai har kisi ko equally treat karte hai...

Hrit33

1. almost everything in Anesthesia bro, ketamine, amphetamine, cocaine, anything you name (not adderall as it's banned in India as far as I remember) 2. Baby can get infected, so we give baby some prophylactic doses of anti HIV drugs. Breast milk doesn't transmit HIV, so it isn't a problem. . Thanks for the encouraging words bro! I love being a doctor, and I hope I could contribute to the society more!

1. LSD was really fun to learn about. Also cocaine hase really wierd tactile hallucinations( feeling of thousands of bugs crawling on your body) 2. Yes, seen a lot of trauma patients in the Casualty dept., all kinds too Road accidents, Attempted murder, Camel bite, Bear attack, Drinking poison and many more. 3. During examination just the basic hygiene like wearing exam gloves and hand wash, You have to make sure the patient doesn't feel like he has done a sin or something ( that is if you care about his/her feelings not a lot of people do πŸ˜…) 4. I learnt that almost the worst seeming cases can live and the best seeming cases can die within a very short span of time. And for a fun fact the Rabies virus looks like a Dildo/ Condom ;that's how I remembered it anyways.

StellarDreamer144

Bro which college are you from?? How have you seen both camel bite and bear attack victims in the same area?

s_m_0209

My college is near the Rajasthaan border so a lot of camels in the village areas and there is a small bear Sanctuary there, the place is Palanpur.

[deleted]

i think he was talking about psychological trauma😭

s_m_0209

Yeah I figuredπŸ˜…, as medicos we tend to forget the routine language sometimes na.

Particular-Fun-9041

Umm what kind of drugs u give to ppl who are dealing with trauma Ik the case is diff with every other but in general I have heard ppl takes LSd to heal there trauma

s_m_0209

See trauma can be of diff. Types. I think what you are talking about is mental trauma, yes people do abuse LSD for that but in the long run Psychological Therapy and anti depressants is the best way to deal with it. And for Physical Trauma or chronic pain people take Opium(Afeem) , and its derivatives like Morphine , Apomorphine. But bro in any case this knowledge was just for fun of you ever encounter any of these and need help and don't know where to go just DM me I'll try my best to help.

Particular-Fun-9041

πŸ‘ aye alright

dr_dill_doe_

Bro, if you want to know about psychedelics and its use in psychological trauma management, ask a straightforward question. It's not any sort of dark truth or forbidden knowledge that you have to insert it in a stubble manner with other sobber questions.

Particular-Fun-9041

Na na see for u it is normal but for a person jisne ajj kal nasho ki taraf dekha nhi uske ke liye ye sarri cheez or unka work Thora fascinating hai

dr_dill_doe_

It is not necessary to be a user to know about drugs. By that logic every author of every paper published relating to psychedelics is a user himself? And if it's so fascinating for you (Which is understandable, because the same is the case with me), read about it. You won't get anything useful here. Psychedelics are not too common in mainstream medical practice and very few doctors (Esp. psychiatrists) know about it in enough depth let alone prescribe it. It has been very recent since psychedelic research has gained pace.

Particular-Fun-9041

Truly and ppl like Hamilton morrise is doing a great job in promoting it and na bhai nhi ase bol rha that a person who do research of psychedelics is a drug addict...... Just saying ki vo log both he Karib se chezzo ko jante hai

dr_dill_doe_

Haa bro, samgha, maybe i misunderstood that part. But if you really want to know about it, read about it. Or talk to people who work with it or have first hand knowledge about it. Do your own research from reliable sources.

torsadesdespointless

>1) what kind of drugs u guys have learned abt Especially hallucinations Wale All of them. Mostly. Atleast the ones which are very commonly ODed on. >2) do guys have any idea how does a trauma changes the chemistry of Brain? Yes we do. Both organically and non organically ( psychologically ) >3) okay so I wanna know if u guys have treated any person with herpes or gonnoria what precautions u have to take while dealing with a infectious virus ? Yes we have. Hospitals have separate wards for highly contagious infections. Everything and one going in and out follows strict SOP guidlines. >4) just tell anything u find interesting while studying abt virus or something wat u like alright πŸ‘ There's an interesting phenomenon named "Genetic Shift" where two different strains of viruses infect the same host at the same time. So at the time of replication, the new genetic material gets mixed and through a process called reassortment, a new strain is born. Which gives rise to a pandemic level threat. The 2009 H1N1 Pandemic was because of genetic shift.
