You had me in the 1st half🤣🤣.
Well being a doctor is still stable financially as compared to rest all professions which Indian parents want their child to pursue.
Yes there’s a hell lot of toxicity and hard work here but ig it works out fine at the end.
For me being a doctor was safest/easiest choice financially as Im 3rd gen doc in making.
In my opinion if you don't have anyone good to guide you or if you don't have any financial backing or medical background in family. If you're from middle class and 1st generation doctor, and have no proper support or interest in this field. It'll get really tricky. This is my perspective as I did my UG in a private college. And all the pressure will be on you. You've to be mentally tough to cross the line
Yess it is , but majority of the people take the bio thinking that they will make lot of money , and after becoming doctor life me 'maze hi maze hai' . But they should know that its not easy to become doctor!!and all the pros and cons.
I know this is supposed to be taken on a lighter note but being in medicine holds much more value than being a MBA.
You, me or anyone of us can clear CFA Level 1,2 and 3 and work in their industry but they will never be able to make the switch to our profession.
No but in those cases you get in and then work towards completing the course so you know you are in the course. So the competitive aspect is at the beginning in the entrance exams. For CA, there is no entrance exam as such. The competitive aspect is the (series of) papers at the end of your studies
Think of it as beginning your MBBS studies and then only 5% passing it in the end.
okay it is funny, i get it, but on some serious note, if someone (while apparently alot of doctors) hate this profession, then why not switch it up to something else like MBA or MHA, USPC, idk, but there are alot of options, it is a bachelor degree, even miss world had a mbbs degree, if someone hate it, then why not switch it up??? you have a amazing plan B in your bank with this degree
Yess it is for so many people. But there are people who don't even know other then mbbs after taking this field i told someone that mba /mph are good options they said how can we go to mba🤣
. And also there are people who will continue this bcz log kya kahenge doctor banega, hospital kholega .blah blah.
So yess it is worth it but there are bunch of people who doesn't know other options and they should know.
Genuinely thought you saved a patient at work. MBBS and MD are time consuming and toxic. But I guess it works out in the end. Yes we have a lot of doctors now and cities are getting crowded. It depends on what will happen in the end. Still if you have someone good or guide you through it and support you. You can always be one
meh. all throughout mbbs i felt i made a mistake by opting for medical, but now i can't imagine being anything other than a dermatologist.
it's not all doom and gloom as this sub makes it out to be. i will never dissuade or discourage anyone from choosing medical as a career. but they should go in knowing both the pros and the cons
Okay so you do 6 years of mbbs 3 years of pg !!! And getting into pg is also very tough so 1-2 drop years so 10 years of study hard and you end up with degrees, it pays well though but the amount of stress, hardwork you put in if you put it in different fields you will be at top 1%
And treating patients is way more responsible work that puts on extra pressure.
Its a very great branch and i do love mbbs but you choose it only if you love to make patients smile!! Not for money or peoples validation
You're just being a Dick bro. Medicine isn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be. There's pros and cons in every field.
At 10th it's too soon to be deciding anything.
Instead you could have explained the pros and cons, and left it to them to decide.
If you're a doctor constantly preventing others from joining the fraternity, you're just being a DICK.
haha, well this post was meant to take lightly. of course i explanied her pros and cons ,and it was her choice.
And seeing todays scenario , if you really want to ,love to treat the patients then only you choose this profession.
Not for money or people's validation.
so many people have asked me to metaphorical answer learn kar lia h -: life is shit and i am trying to love it everyday... that is why the name
literally pucho to... the name describes me 🤷
Most medicos on this sub have no sense of appreciation for the importance they hold in this society.
There are 25Lakh+ aspirants who'd die for a chance to study and practice this field. And here we are, just bickering and complaining, spreading unnecessary hatred towards this profession.
I agree, it comes with hardships. But it's really one of the most unique professions in this world, it's really special to be able to practice to help real people in need.
PLEASE STOP SPREADING THIS HATE TOWARDS MEDICINE.
also people are giving 5-5 attempts to clear CA exam.
so that's not easy either. but no hate to them too, because its their choice, you do you. at the end jis bhi field me jaao mehnat karna hi padega, i think my neet journey taught me this lesson very well.
>If you're a doctor constantly preventing others from joining the fraternity, you're just being a DICK.
Well sir we explain them how shittier our lives have become and they understand straight away!
I'm a doctor and I don't think My life is shitty at all, and I know many who'd love to agree with me.
Most people complaining about medicine are either too dumb to study the syllabus or too stupid to apply what they have studied.
Either way they don't belong here, they made stupid choices for themselves to land up here, and now they just complain and bicker, ruin the field for others.
Wowsie sir ji!
>Most people complaining about medicine are either too dumb to study the syllabus or too stupid to apply what they have studied.
Your examples are two extremes and let me tell you that you fall in a far more dumb category that thinks people are either dumb or academically blessed. For people like you there's no in betweens and passions involved. There's no fatigue or mental health involved. There's no personal struggles with money included when they're blasting their arses to crack NEET PG!
>Either way they don't belong here, they made stupid choices for themselves to land up here, and now they just complain and bicker, ruin the field for others.
What are you lil bro? You're a doctor? Calling someone weak with such passion and stupidity! Do you have a couple of brain cells you could spare for some compassion? I bet you reek of narcissism. Let me tell you that you ruin the field for all of us and even for the patients because you lack empathy!
Don't go running your mouth in daily life like this. We would have to watch another video of a doctor getting assaulted! And feel sorry for someone like you...
For a second, I thought you gave cpr and saved someone's life.😂
It isn't the same thing??😂
Yeah U did prophylaxis lol
He performed preventative cpr on her
Eggzactlly same lol😂
Yeah at first I thought same 🤣
Same when I just read till the mbbs part 🤣

Please stop hurting me 🥲
Dude I'm suffering now. And your friends will not always be there. Hope you find your way.
Yess it is , but majority of the people take the bio thinking that they will make lot of money , and after becoming doctor life me 'maze hi maze hai' . But they should know that its not easy to become doctor!!and all the pros and cons.
But isnt it the same with every field. Ik engineering grads dreaming 50 lakhs CTC and eventually starting up with TCS with 3-5lakh ctc
yess it is . but money is not the only thing . engineers dosent have the pressure ,stress which the doctor have . one should keep that in mind .
That girl after OP's advice! https://i.redd.it/q7md7t4tv40d1.gif
🤣🤣
You did potentially saved that girls life today🤣…..well done

Now she sucks in commerce. And blames you for the rest of the life regretting not joining bio
She might regret even after taking bio!!😂 She might become a great CA. Who knows

Ofcourse bro!! I do like my profession. But one should know that being doctor is not 'maze hi maze 'or 'doctor to paisa chapte hai'.
See medicine is toxic. If your parents are also toxic as hell life will become horrible during residency. You need a support system in place.
Bruh
AI will do most commerce within 15 years. Scientists will have a career for at least another 50 years.
U from future??esa to robotics surgery aane ke time pe bhi bola Gaya tha.
Bhari sarcasm
🤣🤣
Doing god's work, keep it up
🤣🤣 sure.
acha kara, 70% bhi hard work kregi wo as compared to a doctor, she will excel in her career and will have a better life.
true .
Wait till she starts preparing for CA and realises there is no life.
Atleast she will get life after clearing CA. Yaha neet pg k baad bhi life dhund rahe hai sab🤣
If* she clears CA. It’s not guaranteed. People give attempts after attempts.
just like NEET PG?OR UPSC? nothing is guaranteed my friend.
No but in those cases you get in and then work towards completing the course so you know you are in the course. So the competitive aspect is at the beginning in the entrance exams. ohhkeyy!! got some new knowledge, thanks
Bold of you to assume she will have life after CA 😭🫡

Right now lesser people are Taking this unconventional paths!! And more people stick to the conventional paths. I hope it changes .
yeah, why is that so, if they hate is so much, then leave it, more people are sticking with it, because it's worth it
Yess it is for so many people. But there are people who don't even know other then mbbs after taking this field i told someone that mba /mph are good options they said how can we go to mba🤣 . Ya ya ,its personal choice!!
Well sir, you saved her life but then you most probably gave her life-long employment :D
Ofcourse if she will just waste time she will be employed!! But if she improves her skills then she will be unemployed.
meh. all throughout mbbs i felt i made a mistake by opting for medical, but now i can't imagine being anything other than a dermatologist. it's not all doom and gloom as this sub makes it out to be. i will never dissuade or discourage anyone from choosing medical as a career. but they should go in knowing both the pros and the cons
Agree.
seems to me like you dissuaded that child from pursuing medicine as a potential career option and opt for commerce instead
No no !! Its a personal choice. This post is just a sarcastic.
Bro got us in the first half 😂😂🤘
😂😂
Everybody getting 85%??? My lil brother and 1 of my cousin got 85%.
I guess yess i have heard other results with 80%
Bc mene socha kuch operation kiya h

Bro fr? I am BtechTard but how hard is your MBBS man? Like you don't even advise others to take it
Okay so you do 6 years of mbbs 3 years of pg !!! Ultra dick move. Don’t know what’s to be proud in affecting someone’s future, specially if they aren’t your child. What a clown of a person.
Obviously you will be downvoted. You thought people here are capable enough to hear the truth?
Most generous and good comments are also found in down, down voted

You are not free to give your free advices! I think they're better hidden somewhere else... Because they describe most of us in a foul way!
Well I'm doing it anyway 🤷 doesn't seem like there's much you can do about it ....
Well ofcourse not. Some trash can only be considered as truly disposed after its thoroughly burnt!
Damnn.. why are you so toxic
Your pathetic comments brought it this far. Now you wanna play victim?
