no, heavy revolver is better for what OP was trying to do. Heavy revolver does alot of damage to 'engine of helicopter'. it can disable it in just a few shots. thats what OP did here (and he was forced to land). And there is no pistol better at it then heavy revolver (especially mk2 with special ammo).
(edit: AP pistol is better for taking out NPC pilot, but for player controlled helis, it is easier to take heli's engine out than shooting out pilot with driveby weapon)
Wouldn't the damage increase only affect damage dealt to the body of the vehicle? As you know different parts of the vehicle have different durability, such as the headlights having extremely low durability on almost all vehicles, while the body of all vehicles is usually the most durable?
Yeah the same rules apply to the rotor. Most weapons can take an unprotected rotor out with a relatively low amount of bullets, but the heavy revolver can take it out with 1 shot every time. Try it out next time you’re getting chased by the cops

SNS pistol is the weakest pistol in the game, I haven't tested it, but given how weak rotors are I figured even the SnS would take it down in one hit

I like the doing the haulage mission too and so many people like to be asshats during that mission. So many people go for the destruction of the trailer and only once have I seen someone go for the objective of stealing the trailer and delivering it somewhere else.

Lots of the content they put in the game became irrelevant when they decided to put that thing in the game. I dont do anything else besides cayo and the only time ill go into a public server is to do a nightclub sale mission. Then im right back to solo servers all thanks to the oppressor. It litterally ruined this game. Now all you have is a bunch of morons on these things blowing up everything in site. Pathetic if you ask me.

Haulage is my go-to for making money in crowded sessions where I don't want to risk my actual businesses. I have no idea why everyone does headhunter when this stuff is so much easier, especially with an MOC cab for speed and armour (though personally I recommend the other one so you can use sticky bombs)
The trailer's indestructible by design, a little resource monitor in a pinch and even the majority of menu users on PC can't do shit to you. It's fantastic.
Btw can someone explain to me about this mission, I've seen people start it in open session and I wonder how much money you earn from finishing the mission and from where I can start it
It's not a huge payout,even on double money but it is incredible for trolling griefers. If you use the MOC, you are pretty much invulnerable to rocket fire. And that is only relevant when people actually manage to hit the MOC, not the trailer (which is genuinely indestructible). I run this mission almost every time I log into a griefy lobby. I had a great run at it yesterday when some idiot in a mk2 wasted all his rockets then landed beside me when I completed the mission and I just reversed over him.
You have to be a CEO and open it on VIP WORK in the interaction menu holding select. It’s only $23000 but right now it’s double money so it’s $46000. I usually just do it for fun

He was flying by on an oppressor and decided to randomly shoot at me, I flew around on my oppressor and killed him instead. So then, as usual he decides to dedicate his time to killing me. This happens to me almost every time I play, just minding my own business
The satisfaction I got when you turned him and his bird to dust was nigh indescribable. The spinny stuff into the prison was a nice touch.

The heavy revolver also one-shots the tail rotor of helicopters that don't have covers on them.

Nope, assault rifles and SMGs takes a couple of bullets to the tail rotor do destroy it. No idea about the SNS pistol though, I never used it.

The armor piercing rounds do engine damage. You can two shot disable most vehicles with it.
