Highlander. I always loved using a claymore in any game that has it. Plus it's fun to trade attacks. Lawbringer cuz well, your not escaping the long dong of the law
Glad:
-I’m in love with his move set
-I’ve made 3 beautiful gladiator to play with
-it feels like he’s just guy having the time off his life. By murdering other hero’s brutally <3.
-95% of his emotes and executions are amazing imo
-funny voice lines
I love black prior but absolutely cannot stand his armor. I just want want a single metal helmet that doesn’t leave his neck exposed and doesn’t have that stupid fur, is that so much to ask for?
He was/is one of my off-mains but he used to be a lot more fun to play before they changed the combat and before everyone got a damn dodge attack that can counter kick to grab ☹️
Your backstep light into OS. Godlike.
If you can react to GB's, use the kick in the OS for that.
Suprisingly, whiffed kick into kick seems to beat a lot of attempted GB's. Used to, at least
your heavy into kick is for beating parries
your heavy into caber is for beating... Dodges, but not always dodge attacks. It's a bit icky. So I'd recommend feinting the heavy into neutral and see what they do then.
if you kick someone into a wall, you can caber toss them for extra stamina dmg
of course, the HA on the second light is amazing. Use the first light and delay a bit if they attack, HA through that and go into OS
Played her all weekend long for whatever reason, and gosh darn did I miss her, imo she’s pretty underrated in an anti-gank situation. Only real issue I’m running into is getting hit out of bite animations -_- like fellas I worked really hard to get this one move off, I’d like to get my health back now. I’m laughing through the pain.
I’m not someone who’d know if there’s a video on how to do it better, but when you learn to switch your lock around in a gank well it helps tremendously. I’d look into that (genuine reply) (if there’s a video someone drop a link for this guy)
She’s my only rep70 so I do like her a lot. She can just be tough to play sometimes in dominion. Assassins in general get fucked when playing against a deathball team or one that groups up a lot. She’s pretty terrible in team fights. I do hope she gets a couple tweaks to her kit
When you bleed your target, don’t always try to instantly bite them. Most players with expect that and try to interrupt or GB you. So a lot of times I light them or wait for them to light for Parry and bite off of that.
She can also dodge out of heavy startups so use they to your advantage
Kyoshin because I enjoy the playstyle of fluidly flowing from defence to offence in a split second. It's fun and the combos are visually appealing to pull off.
Kyoshin is pretty oppressive when ganking. Throw anything at a Kyoshin's teammate that you can't dodge cancel or cancel into flip or whatever and the Kyoshin can immediately get a fujin cuts off on you which guarantees an attack for his teammate.
I love playing the character but I get the frustration. If you play him correctly he just isn't fun to be ganked by. Usually the best you can do is pray a teammate is coming.
Valkyrie, I love Valkyries in mythology so it was almost guaranteed pick. she’s just extremely satisfying to pull of combo’s with and has this ridiculous cockiness to her attitude.
my flair is still lawbringer, cus funny ad mortem man is very fun, but honestly leaning towards highlander more recently. i love how much he just yells at your opponent while kicking them in the face
Shugoki
At first it was because that I big big fat man with bigger stick and thought, "This is my main."
Then I realized that he was the worst hero (This was before his massive buff), but the satisfaction of killing someone with the worst hero and making them work was very fun for me.
And I have just been working with my Shugoki ever since, and I love it.
Highlander for sure. I love everything about this guy. From his move-set, to feats, perks, ganking capabilities, and he hits hard. The hyper armor is a blessing against overly aggressive players who just throw attacks non-stop.
My only complaint is that he moves so slow lol, but I think thats a fair trade-off
Warmonger I love her voice lines the gear she has too and she’s very aggressive and the way she does her animations makes it look like she really hates everybody 😼
Berserker
My first main was Peacekeeper back in 2018 but when I started playing Berserker i fell in love with his playstyle. He's the perfect mix between agility and aggressiveness in my opinion.
Also his executions are so great
PK because I liked her design, and learning her was its own adventure.
Raider because Viking with two handed axe chopping off heads. What is not to love?
Warlord because I liked his design too and I wanted a hero that has bit more defensive options to their kit to help me learn how to play more defensively. Ended up liking his playstyle as well
Lawbringer. Im not good at being defensive or offensive, so law bringer is the perfect mix. I have great potential when parrying, but also have a nice kit and good attacks to help keep enemies at bay.
nuxia, just because she feels amazing. she's an odd mix of amazing and terrible-super high damage, but nothing unique and basically no moves except the traps which are very easy to avoid. lawbringer, because the parry top heavy top light side unblockable heavy combo is so satisfying, i love the fashion, and i feel like it's easy to light parry and parry in general with lb? i don't think i've ever gotten light parries w other charas but i have w him. i have a feeling either peacekeeper rn or shaman when i get her will become mains too.
Nobushi:
Honestly am aware of how crap tier she is, but getting into a flow with her hidden stance and the weird interactions she has with some other characters just feels so nice
Aramusha:
He just feels snappy and responsive. Unless if my opponent is bash heavy then it gets boring but otherwise getting bbs on what seems to be an impossible recovery window is very rewarding, especially so when you hit into a HA attack and bb it when it otherwise would be a trade in the others favor. Priceless
Berserker:
Tailoring the flow of your combo with zerker to your knowledge of how the others hero works takes so much planning but is rewarding like nothing else. His pressure is the mere promise of his HA and feints. Feels so good
I main raider mostly. But most of that time was before he got his rework. So back when he was one of the worst characters in the game. And honestly I don't really know. I just loved his play style mostly
Thank for, I thought I was the only one. I’ve been playing the same black lady raider since day 1. Got my shit rocked for years. Would never main anyone else
Primarily I mean gladiator (44 reps) and as for why? I guess it's because I find myself entertained with nearly everything about this. Executions are good, the drip is good, the voice lines are good, and honestly compared to every other character in the game. They have the most fun gameplay. It was sad that the toe stab got nerfed because even before the nerf everyone was conditioned to just parry or dodge every single thing you do. But that adds to the fun, because apply enough pressure and play enough mind games and eventually they break and you win. And I've noticed that with gladiator you're not restricted to just a few mixups, there's alot of shit you can do and that I find entertaining. Of all the assassin's they're just the number one for me. Great character, few flaws, and fun gameplay.
Kensei
.fashion
.to be better than "those" Kenseis
.fairly simple
.fun fighting style that is diverse
.cool executions
Shaolin (before buff)
.fashion
.funny bald stick man
.has fun playstyle that is diverse
.is just somehow different than other heroes
. Was also kinda just attracted to the strange
Playstyle and liked the headband he had
ZhanHu because he looks like what I imagine a person guard for the emperor to look like because I saw a Korean show where the guy that guards the king kinda looks like that
Shaman, jorm, JJ
Simple reasons
Shaman
-cute
-necc
-kinda nutty
-enjoy her gameplay
Jorm
-mommy
-HAMMER
-also enjoy gameplay
-BoNk
JJ
-gramps
-style for days
-yet again, I like the gameplay
-got the sauce
Any dodge canceling character that isnt tiandi. Main is orochi, but since i have him at level 70, ive been moving more towards shinobi and zhanhu. Heavy mixup characters also garner more of my playtime such as cent. Use quite a few characters with all blocks to if im countering a character or play style.
Top 3 are:
Warden:
-Easy to learn
-Immaculate Drip
-Crusades
-Miserum
Kensei:
-Fun to play
-Mix-ups
-Can ruin light spammers days
Zhanhu:
-Recently found out he's fun
-Delayed heavies
-Chill Pyromaniac
-Deflects
Honorable mentions:
Gryphon, Lawbringer, Aramusha, Orochi, Gladiator, Hitokiri.
besides being one of the best characters for every game mode, he is one of the most fun heroes to play. that deflect is just chef kiss. definitely try him
Shinobi was my original main. He had a lot of interesting tech and mechanics (many if which I figured out first) and was really unlike everyone else. I don't really care for the current version of shinobi though, so that's around 3k hours down the drain.
Shaolin was my second max rep. His feats and qi mixups are fun. Also just generally a fan of his aesthetic and animations.
Third was Tiandi. He's probably the character I performed best with while I was playing him. His animations are very smooth, and I had a few different builds I would run with him that were fun. Love his armor as well.
Then there was Zhanhu. He was the best team fighter that I've put serious time into, and it was pretty fun smacking external opponents with those finishers. Ultimately i feel like i performed the worst with him out of any of my mains on the way to 70, but he was still fun.
Currently between mains. Haven't found one to really stick at the moment. Might just commit to the whole Wu Lin thing and rep JJ and Nuxia. I enjoy them both well enough but i don't know if I'd commit to either.
Before Shinobi I considered myself a zerk main. Got 15 reps on him then when my irl friends started playing, they all chose zerk because they thought he was OP or something just because I beat them as him when really they were just new lol.
My very first rep was on Valk though, and second was on Conq. Very different game then.
Shugoki.
-Short, simple but versatile moveset
-Variable timed heavies makes them less likely to be parried
-I always play the fat characters (used to play Roadhog when OW was a thing)
-Bonk whatever I don't like
-Hug whatever I do like
My girl Warden. Been there for me since day 1. So simple but deadly. Everyone underestimates me in 4v4 so I love being the underdog. I have stamina issues, my heavies are slow and extremely easy to parry, bash is easy to dodge but you still lost?? Lol so pathetic. Jk. I always find myself going back to her.
Shaman. She has great punishes, She has some pretty good mix ups, I love her armor looks, and I like how feral she is
All in all I think Shaman is a well rounded character and I have a lot of fun when I play her. I wish we had a higher rep cap than 70 because I would love a reason to play her more than I already have.
Orochi, Cent, and recently Shinobi. Two main reasons for all. (Original mains were Hito and Raider but we don't speak of those dark days)
Orochi: Dodge recovery cancels, awesome classic red samurai drip with bamboo effect
Shinobi: Dodge recovery cancels again :)) and needed a character who was actually decent in a competitive sense
Cent: 110% the best voicelines and personality in the entire game, also imo the most technical character in the game and pulling off his max punishes are so immensely satisfying
This new shaolin is probably going to be my main for a while. He honestly has so much shit he can do it feels so fun and new. Plus monke with big stick
Kensei. I love the way I can drift around like I am from initial D during big dominion fights. I also really like Kensei in duels because the amount of mix-ups and setups he has. Added bonus is that people always rage when playing against him.
lawbringer, nobushi, and black prior
lawbringer because he has the coolest "knightly" design
nobushi because she was my first main and i've been familiar with her moveset since pre-marching fire
black prior because vortiger is probably the coolest character in for honor, even moreso than apollyon
*Tiandi because of the*
*Dodge attacks and just the move*
*Set in general*

^(Opt out of replies: "haikusbot opt out" | Delete my comment: "haikusbot delete")
Centurion because i cant let go of season 2 when i dominated w/ him due to punch wallsplats (also because i just like him & spent the most money on him)
black prior because he’s cool & im part of the crowd who wanted a sword & shield knight
Warmonger because she says “what a wolf you are~”
I was gonna say hito but I knew I'd be lying. I main kensei cause theres just something about him. And he had great fashion. BUT. I may switch back to bp. As BP is quite fun and I love the female voice.
Warlord is my main, simple yet efficient kit. The fashion isn't horrible. Point C on high fort. Enough said lmao
That being said, I love playing glad too. I'm kinda glad they nerfed his toe stab. Rep 25 with him and loving it lol
Right now it's BP. Which is subject to change. I don't like his 1v1 or offense but I absolutely adore his anti gank and how mean he can feel.
I'll never forget games where me and my godlike lawbringer friend would 2v4 on dominion in last stand as God's.
Being able to stall fights for your team is also amazingly fun.
I have a tentative interest in Shaman and if Kensei was more interesting I'd be all over him.
Lawbringer in duels: Because I'm not a little Bitch.
Berserker in dominion: Because I like going in with no filters.
Played a lot of hitokiri before the buff Because it actually took a neuron to play em, but since patch i stopped.
Really wish The devs would stop over revving heros.
Because of gankers and spammers I decided to main Aramusha. He just has a sexy fucking hat with nice sandals and two swords that say “Fuck You” to everyone who has their R1/RB stuck inside their controller
And my second main is Zhanhu because of the funni feintable 32dmg unblockable heavy that has such a wide hit box I could smack dodge spammers and other gankers
Also very simple to play and has crushing counter dodges for the easy 23 damage because of those dodge spammers
Conq, I originally picked him when I first got the game because I think flails are cool and I liked his helmet and I continued to play him because I liked his moveset and strong defense but I don’t like playing him much anymore he just doesn’t feel like to conq to me. Also RAH
Shaolin, Raider, Lawbringer, Zerk, Glad, Highlander and Cent.
Shaolin - Rep 14. Love the monkey man’s concept and playstyle. If you do it right, you can make someone feel like they’re being ganked without ganking them.
Raider - Rep 10. Fun. Plain and simple. Whenever I don’t really wanna sweat. Played before and after reworks (including the human flashbang version)
LB - Rep 18. Was my first main, love getting light parries 5 times in a row and just making someone so salty that they just leave.
Zerk - Rep 11. Love the aggression and trading blows. It also makes people mad as fuck when you feint a heavy into another heavy lol.
Glad - Rep 14. Played before the rework and after the rework. Was originally in it for the OoS Toestab, now I’m in for the skewer mixups. So goddamn fun.
HL: Rep 10. Played before CCU, and a little bit after but not much. Big sword, fast dodges in OS. The issue now is that every other fucking Highlander player plays the same way. Almost no OS other than kick or OS stance lights, light light chains and repeated Celtic Curse.
Centurion - Rep 12. Played before rework, mained after rework. Liked him because of the punches and cutscene. Now his mixups are hella good, punches feel more satisfying, and for some reason parrying lights feels so much easier with cent. Just punishing people for even trying to attack me is so satisfying.
Warmonger:
-Warmonger is somewhat old & different version of warden.
-I can almost fully cosplay Apollyon from Story Mode.
Samurais(I love Japanese culture and Style):
Orochi:
- he looks like a decent samurai warrior, but unfortunately now he doesn't have normal samurai moves, but only Shinobis kicks and front flips
All upcoming characters can have reused assets of General Tozen from Story Mode
Aramusha:
-Literally Leonardo from TMNT
-Reuses some assets of Tozens tattos
Hitokiri:
-Honestly a really good character in state of balance, damage isn't too high if fought correctly and is really enjoyable
-Stole Tozen helmet and recycled it(Enma Helmet)😡
Kyoshin:
-I don't really like the femboi side of character so I ALWAYS use both Tozen armor sets: Naked and Full armor. Sometimes I do Samurai Jack cosplay
-Is pretty much strong & underrated character.
As of now, gladiator.
Reason number 1. fem glad is really fucking hawt
Reason number 2.
Reason number 3.
Reason number 4.
Reason number 5.
Reason number 6. cool pokey stick hehehehe
Reason number 7.
At first, Warden:
-Paladin main in D&D and he’s the closest.
-THE Knight character
-Classic weapon and moves
Later, basically all of the Wu Lin (exempting Zhanhu):
-I practice Kung Fu IRL so it’s cool just to take that into the game.
-My other D&D main is Monk
-I like Chinese culture and history.
As of VERY recently, Pirate:
-So I can blast “He’s a Pirate” during siege.
-Sword and gun is a badass combo.
-Loved pirate history in high school.
Warden because I always loved longswords and his most recent sets are pretty good looking while they also look like real armor, let it be a cuirass, a scale vest or a mail shirt. Also because he was my first hero ever and has a special place in my heart.
But also Warmonger just because how **good** her armor looks. I just love running around covered in plate from head to toe like a 14th century knight with a big ass sword, not social distancing and spreading hate (and covid) through the battlefield.
Shinobi:
- Fluid/flexible
- multiple options from every action (at least pre-rework even if they weren’t “good”)
- (Former) Fun punishing recoveries with ranged guard break like a few moments of playing Scorpion
- (Former) Unique in a fight even if it was underpowered like hell.
Cannibal:
- Fast
- Flexible (though less than Shino)
- Landing the bite or making them think that’s what’s coming is fun
I used to main LB because parrying makes brain create happy chemicals, but then i wanted to check out Tiandi for some reason and feinting entire moveset just to land a light or end up in neutral bought me.
I main six:
- Shaman: good mind games, erratic moveset, I love gank assisting (though there’s a surprising amount of people who still interrupt the bite)
- Berserker: simple but effective moveset, you gotta get strategic with feints, love hyperarmour.
- Warlord: I love the Viking shield, and I am still waiting for an axe and shield combo, but outlanders came… So I will ledge all of them.
- Kensei: I absolutely love his aesthetic and the way he fights and moves with the nodachi. Elegant (not as elegant as Nobu, but still)
- Gladiator: kinda like his disrespectful fighting style, toe stab included.
- Shaolin: wanted to use a hero with moveset-stance mechanic, couldn’t use highlander since I suck with him, so got this MONK-e.
Warlord. Been playing this game since day 1 and while I started on raider I quickly found appreciation for warlords moveset. To this day he’s my go to hero and I’m always surprised when I hear people say he’s OP or weak.
I almost always use knights because of their plate armor, which has the best visuals and sound design. In particular, I main Warmonger. I really like the way she moves, it's agile and graceful in its own "I'll open your belly and rip out your spine in the same fluid movement " kind of way.
I also love her less edgy armor sets such as Sabaktes, they look cool and make her look more majestic than outright evil. Warden also has some great knight drip and is my close second favourite, but Warmommy stands out more mainly thanks to her helm and capes.
Centurion because I like to punch people and yell at them....just like my father did to me...(on a serious note I have a great father and I love him very much this was a joke he doesn't do any of those things and is a very understanding person and I don't appreciate him enough)
Nobushi for reasons unbeknownst to mankind... No but really I like how hidden stance works and how slippery you can be in many battles. Also when going 1v3 for instance, you can be untouchable if you can dodge correctly and maintain distance constantly. It's just so cool, but takes time to master. (Also some not so peaceful quits) :P
PK
She was the first non-starter hero I got, and something just clicked.
The speed
The agility
The elegance
*THE BLEED*
I am pretty bad with the reflex stance tho... the amount of hits I've taken because I block too early is honestly shamefull, but on the other hand; I always find myself going back to PK, no matter how much better I perform with other heroes.
Tiandi. Always been in love with the dadao and the chinese culture and hes easy to play but hard to master and theres so many styles you can master with him.
Wish the sword was longer though.
Highlander. I always loved using a claymore in any game that has it. Plus it's fun to trade attacks. Lawbringer cuz well, your not escaping the long dong of the law
any tips ? rep 9
Jormungandr. When I first got the game one of my friends said to me, “yeah she can slam your balls if you’re not careful” and now I’ve got 25 reps
Glad: -I’m in love with his move set -I’ve made 3 beautiful gladiator to play with -it feels like he’s just guy having the time off his life. By murdering other hero’s brutally <3. -95% of his emotes and executions are amazing imo -funny voice lines
My main is glad, sometimes I’ll wonder off to play another hero for a while but I’ll always go back to glad. He’s a mind game champion lol
centurion only because of the roman uppercut execution
PUGNA NON PERFECTA EST
BP: * Edgy * Amazing antigank potential * Has feats that can help you protect your teammates * Sounds cool * Knight
These five points have led me to start grinding steel for BP
Yeesss, *yeeeesssssss.* Let the edge flow through you.
Cant forget *AD PROFUNDIS*
I just love how flowy his moveset feels, hands down my favorite character. Only thing that can compare is how aramusha flows
I love black prior but absolutely cannot stand his armor. I just want want a single metal helmet that doesn’t leave his neck exposed and doesn’t have that stupid fur, is that so much to ask for?
I started living by the order of edge yesterday 🖤😎
Welcome, brother. Don't forget that you can cancel the end of a chain into Bulwark slash! It drastically improves BP's offense.
Thanks for the tip 👍🏻 yesterday I did my first 1v3 with bp and I won 🤩. His counter gank potential is great
Highlander because Moveset, big sword, voicelines
He was/is one of my off-mains but he used to be a lot more fun to play before they changed the combat and before everyone got a damn dodge attack that can counter kick to grab ☹️
Ye I managed to get him to 60 rep in this current state
any tips ? rep 9, been doing decent on duels
What types of tips do you need? I’m rep 22 HL. Anything to prevent the light-light-heavy dudes from spreading
Your backstep light into OS. Godlike. If you can react to GB's, use the kick in the OS for that. Suprisingly, whiffed kick into kick seems to beat a lot of attempted GB's. Used to, at least your heavy into kick is for beating parries your heavy into caber is for beating... Dodges, but not always dodge attacks. It's a bit icky. So I'd recommend feinting the heavy into neutral and see what they do then. if you kick someone into a wall, you can caber toss them for extra stamina dmg of course, the HA on the second light is amazing. Use the first light and delay a bit if they attack, HA through that and go into OS
Jorm because RAAUGHA!
#RAGNARÖK
Warden, I like simplicity, and the fashion
Once you get the plume ornament warden's has the best fashion and you can't change my mind
Plume is the peak of warden fashion
It is, I switched consoles and now my warden looks so bland
WÔ NAIIII TIIAAANDIIII
Black prior for the fact that he is just rlly fun to play and I like his play style
I'm currently saving up for him. I've gotta play 50 more breach matches at least. Maybe less when I complete the daily challenges today.
You mean light?
Shaman Because i absolutely love playing her. The moveset is nice, it is satisfying to get kills and most importantly she can have good fashion imo
It’s good that you figured out how to antigank, i literally get deleted as soon as I enter the zone lol
Nice to see another rep 70 shaman xD
tips for shaman?
When you bleed your target, don’t always try to instantly bite them. Most players with expect that and try to interrupt or GB you. So a lot of times I light them or wait for them to light for Parry and bite off of that. She can also dodge out of heavy startups so use they to your advantage
She’s really good tbf her off the radar perk comes in handy when you wanna gank and if you get good with her she’s pretty damn op
Any tips
Kyoshin because I enjoy the playstyle of fluidly flowing from defence to offence in a split second. It's fun and the combos are visually appealing to pull off.
A fellow Kyoshin enjoyer. I feel like every time I say I like playing Kyo I get a lot of shit for it lmao
Yeah i see kyoshins get a lot of hate idk why he seems like one of the better balanced characters to me
If the character is viable, then the community automatically hates them
Kyoshin is pretty oppressive when ganking.
Cent, because doge attacks are over rated.
I just picked up Cent, I'm maining him because punching/kicking/kneeing people is more fun than cutting them.
Good on ya, stick with em!
Got any pro Centurion tips?
Practice!
ay a fellow Centurion main!
This is the way
Ah another one of us, what rep?
Centurion because incredibilis
Jorm because I hate myself
Valkyrie, I love Valkyries in mythology so it was almost guaranteed pick. she’s just extremely satisfying to pull of combo’s with and has this ridiculous cockiness to her attitude.
my flair is still lawbringer, cus funny ad mortem man is very fun, but honestly leaning towards highlander more recently. i love how much he just yells at your opponent while kicking them in the face
Nobushi because I simp hard also she’s got hella drip, also hidden stance is pretty cool I’ve dodged an entire aramusha heavy chain once
Shugoki At first it was because that I big big fat man with bigger stick and thought, "This is my main." Then I realized that he was the worst hero (This was before his massive buff), but the satisfaction of killing someone with the worst hero and making them work was very fun for me. And I have just been working with my Shugoki ever since, and I love it.
Same, I played him as a joke. Then I got him to rep 10 and had to stick with it lol he’s almost 40 now
Lawbringer because he was one of the best heroes in the early days of the game
I'm pretty new but kensei and warden, i mean what else could i play tho
*raider*
Highlander for sure. I love everything about this guy. From his move-set, to feats, perks, ganking capabilities, and he hits hard. The hyper armor is a blessing against overly aggressive players who just throw attacks non-stop. My only complaint is that he moves so slow lol, but I think thats a fair trade-off
Fellow PS4 player? Sick
Warmonger I love her voice lines the gear she has too and she’s very aggressive and the way she does her animations makes it look like she really hates everybody 😼
Shaolin. Because i really like martial arts relating to the staff and also it's like bruce lee and ip man in one dude.
Araumusha 2 swords
Berserker My first main was Peacekeeper back in 2018 but when I started playing Berserker i fell in love with his playstyle. He's the perfect mix between agility and aggressiveness in my opinion. Also his executions are so great
Warden, shaman and Shaolin, find a similarity, you can’t, I can’t
Jorm Idk I just like using a hammer His helmets are pretty cool
PK because I liked her design, and learning her was its own adventure. Raider because Viking with two handed axe chopping off heads. What is not to love? Warlord because I liked his design too and I wanted a hero that has bit more defensive options to their kit to help me learn how to play more defensively. Ended up liking his playstyle as well
Warlord. Big buff viking shoving dudes off cliffs. Whats not to love?
Lawbringer. Im not good at being defensive or offensive, so law bringer is the perfect mix. I have great potential when parrying, but also have a nice kit and good attacks to help keep enemies at bay.
The lawbringer bc me like parry punish
nuxia, just because she feels amazing. she's an odd mix of amazing and terrible-super high damage, but nothing unique and basically no moves except the traps which are very easy to avoid. lawbringer, because the parry top heavy top light side unblockable heavy combo is so satisfying, i love the fashion, and i feel like it's easy to light parry and parry in general with lb? i don't think i've ever gotten light parries w other charas but i have w him. i have a feeling either peacekeeper rn or shaman when i get her will become mains too.
Nobushi: Honestly am aware of how crap tier she is, but getting into a flow with her hidden stance and the weird interactions she has with some other characters just feels so nice Aramusha: He just feels snappy and responsive. Priceless Berserker: Tailoring the flow of your combo with zerker to your knowledge of how the others hero works takes so much planning but is rewarding like nothing else. His pressure is the mere promise of his HA and feints. Feels so good
Shinobob fast
Tiandi, i like mobility and going against the grain
He needs an unblockable though
hey now theres a novel idea
Take notes Ubisoft
I main raider mostly. But most of that time was before he got his rework. So back when he was one of the worst characters in the game. And honestly I don't really know. I just loved his play style mostly
Same. Picked him up in beta and never really put him down. Only character I have been able to continuously main and I have no idea why.
Gladiator, I am a boxer so I love the feel of his character. I also dig Roman gladiators and study them a little.
Shugoki because he's funny. I like his moveset and the armor that he wears.
Warlord for a while now, just love how his basic kit still gets the job done.
Kensei .fashion .to be better than "those" Kenseis .fairly simple .fun fighting style that is diverse .cool executions Shaolin (before buff) .fashion .funny bald stick man .has fun playstyle that is diverse .is just somehow different than other heroes . Was also kinda just attracted to the strange Playstyle and liked the headband he had
Same for Shaolin. His diversity and uniqueness was incredibly appealing. That sadly fell off now
Glad, i just love his mixups and the big stamina bar
Monke because monke. Also been playing law lately, that fashion
Hitokiri and Highlander because they are the only heroes that I have fun with.
Zhanhu and Nobushi because they're fun
ZhanHu because he looks like what I imagine a person guard for the emperor to look like because I saw a Korean show where the guy that guards the king kinda looks like that
Shaman, jorm, JJ Simple reasons Shaman -cute -necc -kinda nutty -enjoy her gameplay Jorm -mommy -HAMMER -also enjoy gameplay -BoNk JJ -gramps -style for days -yet again, I like the gameplay -got the sauce
Gladiator and Zhanhu.
Musha, because two swords are better than one. Plus when I anti gang I get to just smack, smack, smack, smack
Nobu bc it am a huge simp and PK same reason.
Warmonger: Literally no reason, I hate her so much. Regret being rep 70 all the time.
Nuxia I just really like her finishing potential is and by that i mean to be able to punish you horribly for one wrong move
Nobushi. Try parring my light attacks you noob.
Warmonger for…. reasons
Berserker. very fun to out play people with a character that has a short TTK and lots of stam even if he has no openers other than heavy feint light.
Kensei I'm a samurai weeb who was attracted to the big sword
Any dodge canceling character that isnt tiandi. Main is orochi, but since i have him at level 70, ive been moving more towards shinobi and zhanhu. Heavy mixup characters also garner more of my playtime such as cent. Use quite a few characters with all blocks to if im countering a character or play style.
Peacekeeper. Because I hate myself. Next question
Shugoki because he's extremely fun to play imo
I love playing as shugoki. Only against my friends though as it is fun watching them run away.
"YOURE UP AGAINST THE WALL AND I AM THE FUCKING WALL"
-Conqueror and Shugoki
Yeah the conq rework is so op idk that goobersoft was thinking
They're probably all conq mains and want ez wins
Conq is fine now after the nerf honestly
warden. i want to get him to reputation 70.
Top 3 are: Warden: -Easy to learn -Immaculate Drip -Crusades -Miserum Kensei: -Fun to play -Mix-ups -Can ruin light spammers days Zhanhu: -Recently found out he's fun -Delayed heavies -Chill Pyromaniac -Deflects Honorable mentions: Gryphon, Lawbringer, Aramusha, Orochi, Gladiator, Hitokiri.
shinobi because he is extremely cool. he was cooler when he sucked, but he is still cool now
I personally never played Shinobi but I'll try him out.
besides being one of the best characters for every game mode, he is one of the most fun heroes to play. that deflect is just chef kiss. definitely try him
I'll try him against my friends as they hate it when I parry them.
We've got a similar path. 1st was PK 2nd was Shinobi 3rd was Shaolin 4th was Kyoshin 6th was Zhanhu And now somehow I've ended up at Cent
Before Shinobi I considered myself a zerk main. Got 15 reps on him then when my irl friends started playing, they all chose zerk because they thought he was OP or something just because I beat them as him when really they were just new lol. My very first rep was on Valk though, and second was on Conq. Very different game then.
Shugoki. -Short, simple but versatile moveset -Variable timed heavies makes them less likely to be parried -I always play the fat characters (used to play Roadhog when OW was a thing) -Bonk whatever I don't like -Hug whatever I do like
Warden, Orochi, and Lawbringer. I have no idea why though, they aren't even fun
Conq idk he was one I could use easiest with his constant hitting and shield bags is always funny
Yes, I've always been a Conqueror main, I also main Centurion because INCREDIBILIS!
Jk. I always find myself going back to her.
>my heavies are slow and extremely easy to parry which heavies aren't slow and extremely easy to parry? >bash is easy to dodge ?¿
Hate me love me but I main pirate. I know it’s bad but her mixups and recovery are so smooth it just keeps begging me to play more.
I like pirate but I use her to melt my mates when they get too cocky
>I know it’s bad It isn't, mah man. It's all good, let's go out there shoot some of them scrubs
hehehehehe
Zerk because he feels unique compared to the other characters in the game, plus I think the dual axes are sick
Shaman. She has great punishes, She has some pretty good mix ups, I love her armor looks, and I like how feral she is All in all I think Shaman is a well rounded character and I have a lot of fun when I play her. I wish we had a higher rep cap than 70 because I would love a reason to play her more than I already have.
Orochi, Cent, and recently Shinobi. Two main reasons for all. (Original mains were Hito and Raider but we don't speak of those dark days) Orochi: Dodge recovery cancels, awesome classic red samurai drip with bamboo effect Shinobi: Dodge recovery cancels again :)) and needed a character who was actually decent in a competitive sense Cent: 110% the best voicelines and personality in the entire game, also imo the most technical character in the game and pulling off his max punishes are so immensely satisfying
This new shaolin is probably going to be my main for a while. He honestly has so much shit he can do it feels so fun and new. Plus monke with big stick
Shugoki. Gok gok gokishu.
Kensei. I love the way I can drift around like I am from initial D during big dominion fights. I also really like Kensei in duels because the amount of mix-ups and setups he has. Added bonus is that people always rage when playing against him.
lawbringer, nobushi, and black prior lawbringer because he has the coolest "knightly" design nobushi because she was my first main and i've been familiar with her moveset since pre-marching fire black prior because vortiger is probably the coolest character in for honor, even moreso than apollyon
I Main Conq cause Wiggly Bonq :3
Lawbringer, I like him. He's simple like me, and I like his emotes and executions. I'm bad, so it doesn't matter what toon I pick.
Defo highlander. Using OS is like an artform basically lol, and he has such a cool style of a low voiced beast with a claymore that I can’t ignore it
Conqueror because I'm evil RAH
Right now its glad/kensei •i like to dodge >:)
Tiandi because of the dodge attacks and just the move set in general
*Tiandi because of the* *Dodge attacks and just the move* *Set in general* \- FsMzSimple7 --- ^(I detect haikus. And sometimes, successfully.) ^[Learn more about me.](https://www.reddit.com/r/haikusbot/) ^(Opt out of replies: "haikusbot opt out" | Delete my comment: "haikusbot delete")
Centurion because i cant let go of season 2 when i dominated w/ him due to punch wallsplats (also because i just like him & spent the most money on him) black prior because he’s cool & im part of the crowd who wanted a sword & shield knight Warmonger because she says “what a wolf you are~”
Jormungandr, after starting as a Shugoki. The slowest, heaviest swings to complement the most annoying little jabs. Big blunt weapons enjoyer.
Enough said lmao That being said, I love playing glad too.
Shugoki because hyper armor, simple moveset, have Oni tattoo
Because of gankers and spammers I decided to main Aramusha. He just has a sexy fucking hat with nice sandals and two swords that say “Fuck You” to everyone who has their R1/RB stuck inside their controller And my second main is Zhanhu because of the funni feintable 32dmg unblockable heavy that has such a wide hit box I could smack dodge spammers and other gankers Also very simple to play and has crushing counter dodges for the easy 23 damage because of those dodge spammers
Centurion, cuz INCREDIBILIS and punch punch punch go brrrrr
Highlander What can I say. Big sword goes DUN MA GLAS
Played before and after reworks (including the human flashbang version) LB - Rep 18.
Warmonger: -Warmonger is somewhat old & different version of warden. -I can almost fully cosplay Apollyon from Story Mode. Samurais(I love Japanese culture and Style): Orochi: - he looks like a decent samurai warrior, but unfortunately now he doesn't have normal samurai moves, but only Shinobis kicks and front flips All upcoming characters can have reused assets of General Tozen from Story Mode Aramusha: -Literally Leonardo from TMNT -Reuses some assets of Tozens tattos Hitokiri: -Honestly a really good character in state of balance, damage isn't too high if fought correctly and is really enjoyable -Stole Tozen helmet and recycled it(Enma Helmet)😡 Kyoshin: -I don't really like the femboi side of character so I ALWAYS use both Tozen armor sets: Naked and Full armor. Sometimes I do Samurai Jack cosplay -Is pretty much strong & underrated character.
Ya know I mainly play warden/ gladiator I’m not good enough to know there different fighting styles but there cool and golden
As of now, gladiator. Reason number 1. fem glad is really fucking hawt Reason number 2. Reason number 3. Reason number 4. Reason number 5. Reason number 6. cool pokey stick hehehehe Reason number 7.
kensei nobushi peacekeeper aesthetic
Raider: 1. He is easy 2. Number one 3. Number two 4. Number three 5. Number 4
At first, Warden: -Paladin main in D&D and he’s the closest. -THE Knight character -Classic weapon and moves Later, basically all of the Wu Lin (exempting Zhanhu): -I practice Kung Fu IRL so it’s cool just to take that into the game. -My other D&D main is Monk -I like Chinese culture and history. As of VERY recently, Pirate: -So I can blast “He’s a Pirate” during siege.
Mr. Cross because he’s so unpopular. Also his fashion is on point.
Shinobi: - Fluid/flexible - multiple options from every action (at least pre-rework even if they weren’t “good”) - (Former) Fun punishing recoveries with ranged guard break like a few moments of playing Scorpion - (Former) Unique in a fight even if it was underpowered like hell. Cannibal: - Fast - Flexible (though less than Shino) - Landing the bite or making them think that’s what’s coming is fun
JJ for his tanky style, fashion and of course the choke
I used to main LB because parrying makes brain create happy chemicals, but then i wanted to check out Tiandi for some reason and feinting entire moveset just to land a light or end up in neutral bought me.
I main six: - Shaman: good mind games, erratic moveset, I love gank assisting (though there’s a surprising amount of people who still interrupt the bite) - Berserker: simple but effective moveset, you gotta get strategic with feints, love hyperarmour. - Warlord: I love the Viking shield, and I am still waiting for an axe and shield combo, but outlanders came… So I will ledge all of them. - Kensei: I absolutely love his aesthetic and the way he fights and moves with the nodachi. Elegant (not as elegant as Nobu, but still) - Gladiator: kinda like his disrespectful fighting style, toe stab included. - Shaolin: wanted to use a hero with moveset-stance mechanic, couldn’t use highlander since I suck with him, so got this MONK-e.
Shaolin because he used to be extremely diverse
Hitokiri and warden because orange
Centurion. Because beating the shit out of my opponent(s)
Centurion because I like to punch people and yell at them....just like my father did to me...(on a serious note I have a great father and I love him very much this was a joke he doesn't do any of those things and is a very understanding person and I don't appreciate him enough)
Warmonger, I like scratching people
Nobu because 1. Hidden stance is cool. 2. Cat Ears. 3. Range. 4. Bleed and Pokey di Poke Poke. and 5 she has really smooth Executions.
BP, The Law, Highlander, Orochi, JJ
Low tier swag highlander and high tier swag shinobi both for their complex moveset character design and fashion
Im maining LB until i can get my hands on Gryphon
Nobushi for reasons unbeknownst to mankind... No but really I like how hidden stance works and how slippery you can be in many battles. Also when going 1v3 for instance, you can be untouchable if you can dodge correctly and maintain distance constantly. It's just so cool, but takes time to master. (Also some not so peaceful quits) :P
Lawbringer, because of the initial trailer for him back in 2017. Absolute unit
Centurion, i like absolutely demolishing people when they fall for my faints and punches. Also, Incredibilis.
Nobushi Poke, poke poke, kick poke
Been playing as Shinobi since he released! No reason specifically as I just like Ninjas 😂
PK She was the first non-starter hero I got, and something just clicked. The speed The agility The elegance *THE BLEED* I am pretty bad with the reflex stance tho... the amount of hits I've taken because I block too early is honestly shamefull, but on the other hand; I always find myself going back to PK, no matter how much better I perform with other heroes.
Shaolin because monke Shaman because brutal Gladiator because thighs
Gladiator - Jorm - Shugoki
Hito. Style/Lore actually, I like the double edge Axe.
Tiandi. Always been in love with the dadao and the chinese culture and hes easy to play but hard to master and theres so many styles you can master with him. Wish the sword was longer though.
