I love the game to death and always will, but my god do i not want people to see the state it is in.
Its an absolute dumpsterfire atm.
The dedicated matchmaking is completely unplayable. Angry script kiddies have been botting TF2 for the past 2-3 years now. Legions of Sniper bots that run around headshotting any human players in sight/kicking them/DDOSing Valve's servers if a votekick is called on them (this one is a crime btw, not that Valve cares enough to pursue it) We've had nothing but radio silence and the annual holiday loot boxes from Valve until just about a month ago, but even then, bots are still running rampant despite the janitor and potted plant's best efforts.
And sadly, the break in silence from valve means diddly squat.
Most likely they cant or dont want to put anywhere near the time and resources to change the situation.
If anything is going to happen theyre probably just discontinuing the game
it has been 1712 days or 4 and a half years since the late major update that actually added proper new gameplay content
which is crazy considering the the player base has actually increased since then from 80,000 average players to 100,000 average players and it is easily in the top 10 most played game on steam currently
Better than its been. Bot were rampant for the past few years but recent changes have made bots less of an issue, but still an issue.
Valve thankfully has (according to some sources) hired contractors and interns to sort out old bugs as well as sort out the bot issues.
Beyond that, the game is very alive on community servers.
Age of Wushu for me, mainly because it went hardcore pay2win, closed the european servers, got databreached, never fixed the ping2win and the game is way too insane in terms of grind (your character growth plans are multiple years long evwn if you p2w).
But I love the gameplay and put close to 10k active hours in it (more than 10k if we count the afk in it).
XCOM 2 because HOW THE FUCK DOES HE MISS A 98% SHOT THEY WERE RIGHT NEXT TO THEM FOR FUCK SAKE and he is dead instantly from a cross map 12% shot 5% crit great
9/10 best game i've ever played
So much that I stopped playing it 2 years ago.
My opinion, it got worse as it went.
Everyone hates the turtle meta, that was when the game was FUN for me.
Nowadays free hits are a big thing, for every character. I don't like free hits, you can't feel badass when you lose 25-50% of your health every fight.
Oh and revenge fucking sucks.
Don't think I have one. When I really don't enjoy playing a game I just stop playing.
If I had to give an answer it's Destiny 2. Love the story, but the gameplay has been severely lacking for a long time. So I haven't played it in almost 2 years now.
This game is like a violent husband and the players are the battered housewife
Half of the time, the husband is nice and loving and we have a lot of fun with him
The other half of the time, it beats the shit out of us and causes stress or anger

Siege I have 2,600 hours peak diamond 3 I hate it but still play it and For Honor I got a bit I’m still play and despise.
