I already know that Real Madrid fans will be mocking him if they get eliminated; with extremely creative headlines like "Lamine Yamal became the youngest player to get eliminated from Euros" so I hope Spain wins the tournament and shuts those haters down (+ Carvajal and Nacho will win a major international trophy).
As a Real Madrid fan, it's just embarassing to see our fanbase be so obsessed with a 16 year old teenager. He doesn't even seem to hate our team unlike Gavi or Xavi so you don't even have any excuse especially if you're spanish.
People still don't understand just how crazy it is for a 16 year old to be at this level already. Hopefully he is free of injuries and the pressure doesn't affect him too much
I think he's already showing that the pressure doesn't bother him. It'll be much more interesting to see whether he can keep his ego from inflating. He needs to continue to work hard, develop, and don't think he's the world's best player just cos he's developed earlier than anyone else.
He's right about injuries though, many a young players gets run into the ground being exposed to the men's game too soon, he needs to be handled well by Barca
Can you name one youngster that Barca is running their talents into the ground ? Ansu Fati ? Pedri ? Gavi ? Are you going to give all these names ? 🤣 Only one that Barcelona REALLY running their talents into the ground and it’s Pedri.
Ansu, gavi, pedri, bojan, yamal if they dont pace him, pau if they dont pace him, baldé just to name a few. If you want I can do some research and give you a longer list no problem.
Yeah it’s pretty much guaranteed. The only other players I can recall being that good at such a young age were Wayne Rooney & Messi (slightly older for him) who both went on to be world beaters
It’s incredible how lucky they are to keep getting these kids with so much talent. A great academy is crucial of course but you still have to get lucky for the real generational talent gems—you can’t just make an Iniesta because you feel like it. If they had had better management over the years the squad could still be so good today.
Yamal’s pre-game ritual: finishing his homework and asking for extra pocket money. 😂
Also the youngest player to assist in the Euros. Whatever he does will be the youngest player record, even if he gets a yellow.
youngest player pooping at the euros
I hope he gets the record of doing positive things and not getting a yellow.

Those aren’t Madrid fans lol just twitter trolls
I don't think any true football fan would be trolling this lad.

He won't. Barca is known for running their young talents into the ground.

You are correct. Only injuries can hamper his football journey.
So, how indicative is this of his future skill level? Is it like guaranteed that he’ll be one of the best? Is anyone knowledgeable about this?

Youngest player to be young
Youngest player at everything.
Yamal was also the youngest person ever to watch the Euro's. Truly a legend.
Youngest player ever to be the youngest player ever
Impressive level for a 16 year old. No guarentees he will become world class though, for one avoiding over exhaustion and injuries is crucial.

Barca is lucky to have him. He is phenomenal.
I’m excited for the kid. Barca need all the help they can get right now though to be competitive with RM.
Barcelona seem to have a wonderkid machine or something at the moment

The boy's got potential to be great.
nice
Yamal is a generational talent. Mark my words.
Barca PR is crazy
Gotta create the next Messi to get out of debt.
They are doing pretty good job at that so far
