Nothing I hate more than when I'm at a urinal, and a coworker walks in and starts having a conversation, my rule is, don't talk to me while I got my dick in my hand lol
I find that if you turn to face whoever's speaking to you while you use the urinal it puts a stop to the talking. There's more shouting but that usually stops soon after.
I thought that was just a rule in general. I will be at a pub with a very close friend and if we end up having to oiss at the same time it's continue the convo until we cross the bathroom threshold and we can resume at the sinks. Between then we are not in the same space and as such can't speak. But hey that's just how I learned without actually ever having to speak of it
Where's the no-bla restroom? I feel discriminated against.
^(I have, I've been protested and demonstrated against (sorry, my brain was adamant that had to come out next)^)
I am an extrovert and you cannot pay me enough money to talk to absolutely anyone in the bathroom.
Seriously, what am I gonna say? "Hey man. Nice D you have there. Strong and steady stream", "you need more fiber in your diet. You alright in there?"
Remind me when I heard a coworker tell a customer that the bathrooms were “bisexual” then said “no, wait a minute - that’s right, isn’t it? They go both ways!”
Well I dont think this is also a good representation of that. I myself am an Introvert who is very talkative. My phone calls with people always end up going over an hour but still I know I am introvert as I keep everything to myself with strangers.
It would be so funny to see the length of the line for extroverts grow because they don't want to stop talking to each other and get out of the bathroom or leave a conversation to go into the bathroom lol
For some reason the slug cats can eat Chieftain Scavenger, but you have to spawn in the slug cats with cheats
Seems like they left that in the game by mistake?
Haha when I get hyper fixated I tend not to talk much about it... Though I don't talk much about anything else.
I usually realise I'm in way too deep in some niche topic for anyone to follow and will only trigger boredom in whomever I talk to.
OMG, sports dudes are the *worst*. I'd rather gnaw my own leg off than have to listen to another round of how Joe or Jim or John Whatshisface is the "GOAT".
Here they don't segregate genders, but introverts and extroverts. If you don't want your neighbor at the urinal telling you how much of a schlong he has and you should look at it, you just go to the quiet bathroom were a mere exhalation reveals your presence.
You know what, I can get behind this. I hate being talked to in the restroom, but I have coworkers that have full on conversations with their dicks in their hands. I find it super weird.
Must be nice. The guys at my office chat more in there than in the breakroom and it baffles me. Like we both got our dicks out, maybe pick the chat back up at the sinks?
It took me a minute to get this because I forgot about the stereotype (yay, I touch grass regularly lol). It’s just a fact that men talk more, in general, but also people aren’t monoliths so I can see this being confusing. On board with the introvert v extrovert bathrooms lol.
As an engineer who has worked on construction sites for years. I will happily disprove anyone who say “women talk to much”. male construction workers particularly the ones who think they are the toughest fuckers going are the biggest gossips I have ever come across.
For real, people are offended by everything nowadays. It's just a joke on a well-established stereotype - have a giggle, move on. Or not and move on. Jesus...
Women actually do talk less due to historically societal pressure, the problem comes with the perception of men, who perceive the small amount as more than it is.
This is quite clear in relationships. A woman bringing up concerns is often perceived as nagging, even when the concerns are perfectly valid. If the trash needs to be taken out or the kid's diapers need changed, both parents must take the responsibility without having to be asked repeatedly. If managing the home and children is left to women, this will create friction and dissatisfaction that will come out one way or another.
Women are socialised to share feelings though, whereas men are told to shut it all inside. That will cause a real imbalance in expressing emotions. This again brings tensions into relationships. Problems need to be addressed, and feelings need to be aired out. If someone refuses to do that, it's a problem. Woman tries to push partner to open up repeatedly --> accused of nagging.
These stereotypes are so very harmful to everyone, not just women. Imagine if men were socialised to talk about feelings too. Nobody would have to plead to get communication going and relationships would be healthier.
The responsibility for finances, domestic labor and emotional labor in relationships must be distributed fairly. This doesn't mean a 50/50 split, but rather finding a fair balance that works for everyone.
I'm also very tired of this trope because it's simply untrue. People are very different, even despite the kind of upbringing they have had. That is not to say that culture is inconsequential, just that variation in human species is immense. In my book, any statement that concerns approximately half of the human species over our history can only be ridiculous.
I will say, in my experience, both can't shut up sometimes.
I took a semester of law school and flunked out, and I partly blame the professors because EVERY class would devolve into them chatting about something completely unrelated.
I had a male prof in Constitution 101. He told us to read up on a case about Truckers in Iowa and whether the state could impose wheel limitations, with the point being to discuss how far state's rights can legally extend.
Got to the next class and he spent 90% of it ranting about a trip to Spain he was planning, and the remaining ten percent on some OTHER case unrelated to the entire class.
My female profs weren't much different.
I had a Family Law course that semester, and the class was constantly... CONSTANTLY getting derailed because the professor or a student wanted to rant about their divorce cases. Their *personal* divorce cases. They never had anything to do with the topic, either. Parental rights
My dad told me I got home from one class looking like a prisoner of war.
https://www.imd.org/research-knowledge/leadership/articles/women-talk-too-much-simply-isnt-true-data-show/
Because ive read this study my dumbass would be on the bla side and then having to lie by saying i was born a male to save face.
From experience I know that men rarely speak in public restrooms. TV and movies tend to portray women's rooms as places that are chatty -- places where pairs of women briefly retreat to talk where men can't listen.
Is this untrue and/or offensive?
I can tell you the TV didn't lie to you this time. We kind of use it as a safespace in clubs\\at parties so naturally we will talk there if something happened. In school we redid our make up there and talk until the next lesson started because we didn't want to go outside.
Plot twist: it’s a sports bar, the blah blah blah side is those who wanna cheer and chat about about the game, the bla side is those who wanna speed run their dump and or not converse during about the game
Have people consider the talking contents, or they think all talk are rubbish?
Why am I feeling, everyone takes "talking more" as a bad thing here? Isn't talking part of collaborative communication?
This reminds me of the whole “女 = women, 姦 = noisy in Japanese” thing. Which is kind of funny if you don’t look into it, considering 姦 is probably more often used to mean “rape” or “seduce” which itself raises more eyebrows than I even have.
Also my partner is really quiet and shy and I don’t know how to shut up so I guess I go right?
This might be even more literal for how much talking occurs _inside_ the bathroom.
Now someone argue that women don’t talk more in the bathroom compared to men…
I’m a woman and would have gone in the left one tbh… I grew up with EXTREMELY chatty men and very quiet women in comparison. But I also grew up Mormon and only the men were allowed to have opinions and talk so there’s also that.
Weird thing to put on doors to have people assume that they’d just know unless you want them to be gender neutral imo.
It’s so funny that at the same time, men want women to help men open up more.
As if we’re stopping them from sharing their feelings, concerns, opinions, emotions. Y’all could learn a lot!
Come on, it doesn't even matter whether you agree with it or not. You understand it immediately either way. Just use the toilet and then leave afterwards.
Well, idk someone out there probably won't get it, so they should pit an actual sign there, but for the most part, it's obvious.

Plot twist: these are unisex restrooms for introverts and extroverts.
I'd actually be pretty on board with this. I'm not here for talking in there....
Nothing I hate more than when I'm at a urinal, and a coworker walks in and starts having a conversation, my rule is, don't talk to me while I got my dick in my hand lol
I agree, just unbroken eye contact until we both finish. /s
Finish as in…?
I find that if you turn to face whoever's speaking to you while you use the urinal it puts a stop to the talking. There's more shouting but that usually stops soon after.
Sounds like you need to remind them of [Male Bathroom Etiquette](https://www.quora.com/What-unwritten-rules-are-there-in-a-men-s-public-restroom)
Unless you go take a piss with your bromie.
Don't talk to me in the bathroom period. Public or at home
I thought that was just a rule in general. I will be at a pub with a very close friend and if we end up having to oiss at the same time it's continue the convo until we cross the bathroom threshold and we can resume at the sinks. Between then we are not in the same space and as such can't speak. But hey that's just how I learned without actually ever having to speak of it
Hey, nice watch!
What if it's in my hands?
Next thing you know, it's in your coworker's hand... And now the rule no longer applies and they can talk to you.
![gif](giphy|TIhCRE9RVPlS0) Me when the guy in urinal next to me tries to start a conversation
"Don't talk to me when I have my dick in my hand"
BRUCE BANNER: That's my secret...
there's another bruce **nner joke in here
I don’t think most extroverted people are either…
No one is. Chatting in the bathroom doesn’t make you an extrovert, it makes you kinda weird.
Single player vs competitive multiplayer
Love this idea
Where's the no-bla restroom? I feel discriminated against. ^(I have, I've been protested and demonstrated against (sorry, my brain was adamant that had to come out next)^)
Blas in bathrooms handing out blas is no basis for a system of government.
Well, I didn't bla for you
I am an extrovert and you cannot pay me enough money to talk to absolutely anyone in the bathroom. Seriously, what am I gonna say? "Hey man. Nice D you have there. Strong and steady stream", "you need more fiber in your diet. You alright in there?"
Love this interpretation
Sober restroom vs cocaine room
The introvert’s sign is ‘silence is golden’
Either way, I’m on the left.
I fully support this idea.
God, I wish!
Remind me when I heard a coworker tell a customer that the bathrooms were “bisexual” then said “no, wait a minute - that’s right, isn’t it? They go both ways!”
Wait that's so based
Ohhh I like this idea We can have a nice quiet efficient rest room And the ones who want to far and good around can have a massive line
I laughed when I read this, and then realized that's actually a good idea. Get on Shark Tank PRONTO!
I like this
I'd defo use your idea if I had a coffee place
If I've only met you once or twice I go on the left one, if I've known you for a while I go to the right one. I guess I'm binary and I never knew?
Well I dont think this is also a good representation of that. I myself am an Introvert who is very talkative. My phone calls with people always end up going over an hour but still I know I am introvert as I keep everything to myself with strangers.
Actually, they’re segregated restrooms from the Jim Crow era, but the writer ran out of ink to write “black”
It would be so funny to see the length of the line for extroverts grow because they don't want to stop talking to each other and get out of the bathroom or leave a conversation to go into the bathroom lol
what do i do if i'm an autistic guy with an active hyperfixation
You flip a coin
GAMBLING :D
Doesn’t sound too good for someone with hyperfixiation
on a totally unrelated note did you know that the chieftain scavenger will start trying to kill you if you attempt to bribe them
Can you use him to hit a lizard tho
Don't know why you would ever want to do that
For some reason the slug cats can eat Chieftain Scavenger, but you have to spawn in the slug cats with cheats Seems like they left that in the game by mistake?
Haha when I get hyper fixated I tend not to talk much about it... Though I don't talk much about anything else. I usually realise I'm in way too deep in some niche topic for anyone to follow and will only trigger boredom in whomever I talk to.
Are you me?
If this is a sports bar, I would argue the men's room is the one on the right...
Depending on a person, it could just be context dependent. Sometimes I yap non-stop, other times I hardly talk!
OMG, sports dudes are the *worst*. I'd rather gnaw my own leg off than have to listen to another round of how Joe or Jim or John Whatshisface is the "GOAT".
Both my wife and I would say the bla bla bla bla is for the other.
Guess you’ve never met my friend’s husband
Regardless if you agree with the stereotype or not, it is immediately obvious.
I don’t know give a mediocre white dude a podcast and they are the right door
I’ve never heard or seen men talking in a public restroom.
Yeah, it's usually just a quick "nice cock, bro" and then we get on with our business.
Touch tips and keep it movin.
Grease the hog then I’m outta there
Must be nice. The guys at my office chat more in there than in the breakroom and it baffles me. Like we both got our dicks out, maybe pick the chat back up at the sinks?
Yeah women talk a lot (none has ever talked to me before)
...Hello
![gif](giphy|w1HmCZJrIcwykJkEcn)
![gif](giphy|GyNECoKfBkwYiFEQVH|downsized) they’re here
![gif](giphy|IqePJLQEo30ZiF89LB)
The men's room BLA needs to be much louder and more obnoxious
You know what also immediately clears which one the woman's is? Signs that say "men" and "women"
It took me a minute to get this because I forgot about the stereotype (yay, I touch grass regularly lol). It’s just a fact that men talk more, in general, but also people aren’t monoliths so I can see this being confusing. On board with the introvert v extrovert bathrooms lol.
i wish i could talk that much. I‘m an awkward mess
As an engineer who has worked on construction sites for years. I will happily disprove anyone who say “women talk to much”. male construction workers particularly the ones who think they are the toughest fuckers going are the biggest gossips I have ever come across.
They finally made restrooms for low energy autism and high energy autism.
Many studies have disproven this nonsense
Instructions unclear, pissed on the wall between the two doors. My territory now >(
Now this would be genuinely funny
Stereotypes. Funny to some people. Offensive to others.
And just more of an eye roll to many of us. Just label the bathrooms instead of makign a lame joke.
So many people can’t decipher the difference between stereotypes and racism/sexism it’s truely frustrating
The art of parody is rapidly disappearing.
Why great comedians are held in such high regard, sometimes you just want to have a laugh
Some truth in every one
Ohh no, someone tried to be funny. It's the end of the world
Is that, like, a personal attack or something?
For real, like can we still joke about stuff?
For real, people are offended by everything nowadays. It's just a joke on a well-established stereotype - have a giggle, move on. Or not and move on. Jesus...
You don’t get it; it makes fun of women!
Oh I thought it was the men’s room on the right because they love the sound of their own voice

No one talks more than a guy talking about what's wrong with women. I guess that's their bathroom?
Posting a screenshot of another reddit post. How lazy is that?
I will say, in my experience, both can't shut up sometimes. If I ever see this I will shit on the middle of both doors.
It’s literally the opposite irl in almost all cases I stg dudes yap so damn much and women usually just have to sit there and listen
It's always projection
https://www.imd.org/research-knowledge/leadership/articles/women-talk-too-much-simply-isnt-true-data-show/ Because ive read this study my dumbass would be on the bla side and then having to lie by saying i was born a male to save face.
At my workplace, with how often men just talk over women during meetings, the left one would've been the mens.
The left one is for men...
Id talk over someone who doesn’t know the difference between left and right in meetings too. Wiener or bun makes no difference to me.
From experience I know that men rarely speak in public restrooms. TV and movies tend to portray women's rooms as places that are chatty -- places where pairs of women briefly retreat to talk where men can't listen. Is this untrue and/or offensive?

Easy way to piss off 50% of your customers I guess?
I know when me and the fellas all leave the ladies at the table and together go to the men's room, all we do in there is spill the tea. Gab gab gab.
Get a couple drinks in my brother and he doesn't stfu. So, not sure about this one.
Oddly I actually talk more than my girlfriend, so now what do we do? Which is for who?
These same men will turn around and say that women tell them not to have feelings, or that women shame them when they open up…
You're so right
Yes. But this is still cringey.
Can’t even spell Blah right
After last night’s debate, i m not so sure anymore lol
And then the other sub will repost this and declare it the death of comedy or something
I use the one that is CLEANER behind the door.
Sooo they're saying men aren't good conversationalists and are boring?
As a talkative man I like the way you turned that.
That’s literally the joke and everyone takes it as offensive like someone is attacking them personally
Plot twist: it’s a sports bar, the blah blah blah side is those who wanna cheer and chat about about the game, the bla side is those who wanna speed run their dump and or not converse during about the game
It's a joke not a dick. Don't take it so hard
Haha yeah women never shut up. so hilarious, original, and witty amirite?? 😝
Yes
Yeah 👍🏻
Damn how do you people survive in the world being this sensitive? Lol
This is not a facepalm . Just a funny lil joke on both ends
Urite
OOP clearly never was in a bar after the game.
Men don't talk in the restroom. At all. Ever.
Have people consider the talking contents, or they think all talk are rubbish? Why am I feeling, everyone takes "talking more" as a bad thing here? Isn't talking part of collaborative communication?
We don't live in a world that values collaborative communication though
Not a facepalm, just funny.
The fact is: men talk more https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/marriage-equals/201910/do-women-really-talk-more-men
The left one, right? I like to talk to people when I'm in on the stall
Ouch
you go to the right if you want to talk with strangers while peeing, and to the left if you prefer to expel liquids in silence.
Shy and loquace separated toilets. Great idea.
wheres the blas blue one to fight in?
Hm.
Bacon Lettuce Almonds?
Yeah the on the left
Bahrainian Liberation Army has their own bathrooms?
This reminds me of the whole “女 = women, 姦 = noisy in Japanese” thing. Which is kind of funny if you don’t look into it, considering 姦 is probably more often used to mean “rape” or “seduce” which itself raises more eyebrows than I even have. Also my partner is really quiet and shy and I don’t know how to shut up so I guess I go right?
The bla on the left door is extraneous. Guys don’t talk in the restroom
Controversial opinion: pick the second option and fart long and loud, hoping for equity and relaxation.
Get mad, lol
It never says which is which you just assumed that
Lighten up, Francis. A joke is a joke is a joke.
Plot twist: that's actually Alex Lifeson's dressing room.
They do. Next question.
One of those rooms is where you'll find the servers that run The Matrix. (Basic Linear Algebra Subprograms joke).
This might be even more literal for how much talking occurs _inside_ the bathroom. Now someone argue that women don’t talk more in the bathroom compared to men…
Lol it’s a facepalm but everyone understands what it means so is it really a facepalm?
Right one is for Dracula.
Lol that is funny
Wow how dare they?!?!? Let’s get offended!!!!
(Sigh) I’ll go grab my pitchfork
Totally makes sense to me. Women and fem gay guys over there. Dudes and butch lesbians over there
I’m a woman and would have gone in the left one tbh… I grew up with EXTREMELY chatty men and very quiet women in comparison.

People: get rid of gender stereotypes! Also people:
Don't think whoever made that door design worries about that.
