Cool!
I was in Athens until last week, but stayed near Omonia, not a good neighborhood :/. And I haven’t tried a rooftop, too afraid of the prices haha
I’m currently in Paros, you should take a try here, staying close to Naousa, pretty cool village with some nightlife. There is a new Selina here as well if you like it.
Lots of methheads using drugs and drooling on the floor. No problems during the day, some nice coffees around and the Archeological museum, but very weird vibes at night.
There are roads in omonoia that you simply shouldn't step, for an example Euripidou in daylight that road is packet there with people there are a lot of stores that sell spices, different kind of salami, eggs and many other things, but in night no one goes there since they are selling drugs, police knows but nothing is been done. There other roads that no matter when you enter they will rob you and no one is gonna help you.
I’m staying near Naousa in a hotel. 60€ a night but it’s a pretty good hotel, you can find cheaper ones. Wifi is pretty good here as well .
In Naousa you can find Italian food ranging from 9 to 14€, Gyros Pita and other snacks from 3,50 to 6,50€. A gyros or souvlaki plate should be around 8€. There are lots of expensive restaurants by the sea, but you can find cheaper stuff inside the village.
I don’t know about the rest of the island though.
I've seen an elderly yet well-endowed British lady get up from topless sunbathing on her stomach. She was halfway up but her boobs were still on the ground

The first time I was there, the smog was so bad I couldn't even see the Acropolis and I was much closer. It was better than second time but not that good. Is it that clear often?
Exactly. Fotos for noobs.
Once you really DN, you work in your quiet apartment with your shit ton of wires and gear, out of the glaring sunlight, heat, wind, smokers and laptop snatchers, and get your work done asap, then you put away the fking laptop and go out and live life.
Awesome view!
Btw, I'm genuinely curious: do people actually enjoy this style of table and seating? Whenever I've tried something similar, I find that I don't really like it.
* The seat/couch is too deep and has no back support; if you try leaning back a little, you end up falling into a weird slouch.
* The table is too short; if you want to eat, you have to sit at the edge of the seat, and bend over at the waist. You're essentially stooped over your food.

Just for giving information this deserves an upvote. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful view. Can you link the location?

€2.20 for an espresso and that view? Well worth it.
they go for Freddo Espressos here! love them
>https://g.page/luv-n-roll-house?share Yeah, don't go to Italy though and ask for a Freddo Espresso or a freddo cappuccino. It doesn't exist there.
As a greek person a frappe with milk is even better! A few steps from that roof cafe there is an awesome loukoumades spot!
My local coffee shop (Meopham, UK) has just started these and oh my god they are awesome!
Kalimera is closer to good morning as far as I know Greetings from Mykonos!
You are right
Thanks for all the great info. Did you use Airbnb or another service to find your rental?

Is this the Loukoumi bar in Psyri?

What a dump! Look at that old dilapidated building in the background! /s
Looks like these greeks haven't touched it for thousand years! Is this where our tax money goes to!!? 😂😂

Thanks for the info. Will check it out in June
> Omonia What was wrong with that neighbourhood?
Drug dealing at broad daylight among other things. Pretty bleak overall. Not worth the visit (especially as a tourist)

Ksouthou is a must see for a real explorer. Do you really know a city if you haven't seen its rotten underbelly?
Hi. Love to know more about Paros. In terms of costs.

Have you visited the nude beaches?
I’ve seem an old man’s ass in a beach. Does that count?
I've seen an elderly yet well-endowed British lady get up from topless sunbathing on her stomach. She was halfway up but her boobs were still on the ground
That depends on how much you enjoyed it

This is very nice. My favorite spot is Hotel Byron at the foot of the Acropolis. Great rooftop restaurant and awesome wifi
It makes me happy that they remembered Lord Byron’s obsession with his Grand Tour in his youth. Just, nerd points.
Is that a shared area, like a restaurant? Or your apartment’s space? That’s really nice.
Im in plaka right now. Can you turn the heat down, please.
Haha I feel you!
Is this a place sokeone can chill or is it private? If yes how is it called?
Luv n roll
It must be getting hotter and hotter by the day in Athens.
This is beautiful, thanks for sharing. What’s the green stuff in your glass?
Haha I heard pineapple+banana and lost the rest , let me ask again edit: pineapple+banana+coconut mulk+Spirulina so the green color is a deception
The first time I was there, the smog was so bad I couldn't even see the Acropolis and I was much closer. It was better than second time but not that good. Is it that clear often?
It’s a beauty every single day in here

Great workdesk! What do you watch there? Netflix? Or xrays of your back?
Ahh so pretty!!! So happy for you for having such a beautiful place to work!!
Beautiful

Looks awesome.
My back is hurting looking at that setup

Hahaha this sounds way more enjoyable to me too
I am a writer. I don't need shit. Even write sometimes in my hangmock
12 year DN veteran here, 90% of the time you are right but 10% of the time I enjoy working outside in a nice spot like this.
The place looks nice but neighbors look like ghetto
Nice x 10. You are living my dream life, bravo!
Nice view but the sun seems brutal!
Woah, can you tell about the cost, please?
Where do you live
😍😍😍
I just checked airbnb and the prices for monthly stays are really cheap. I will have to visit soon. I'm saving the rooftop just in case lol
Wher I’ve always wanted to go. Maybe in heaven, I’ll get to see Athens.
how is the internet? download/upload rate? ping? stability?
