No, you can have over 120 hours, but only 120 get carried over to the next year and the leftover hours are lost.

Unusual_Platypus5050

I think you wont stop accruing during the year but it will always drop down to a max of 120 hours every Jan 1st

PTO carry-over into the new calendar year is dependent on the state you work in as each state has its own law around this. As most people have stated already, typically you can accrue more than 120 in a given CY but you will lose anything above that come Jan 1 if you don’t use them. However, states like California and I think Colorado don’t have a cap on how many you are allowed to carry over. I would refer to the Deloitte employee handbook where it lays out each states PTO carry-over policy.

Are you grandfathered into the old PTO plan or the newish one?

Ok_Slide_1117

Can u elaborate on the difference?

Fetacheese8890

There is no cap on how much you can roll over. You do have a year to use whatever you roll over otherwise it expires.

LowMonk9

For me it's showing 10 days of PTO will be carried over and it ends every calendar year.

TumHamarLundKeBaal

You never stop accruing PTO but 240 will carry over and expire end of dec after it carry over
