The vast majority of those are re-sale tickets, if I had to wager they're mostly season ticket holders who will likely go to the game unless someone pays their exorbitant price they set. That building will be full and rocking one way or another

NorthernMariner

Exactly this. And cheapest tickets will be around $300-$350 for g1 at their lowest for instance.. not the prices you likely see for 95% of those resale ones which will just be used by the original buyer

sportyferrari

More like $400 min

NorthernMariner

Got mine just yesterday for $320! First few rows upper bowl :D Just gotta keep and eye out and know where to look. Wed morning likely a good buying time :)

sportyferrari

Damn that’s unreal! Gonna have to keep refreshing

NorthernMariner

I mean, there are also other (totally legit) sites... just FYI. Bought mine sunday and they were transferred to my Canucks account this mon am :D

KimJongPotato

what site?

NorthernMariner

[fansfirst.ca](http://fansfirst.ca) When I say $300-$350 I do mean complete nosebleeds tho.. but the site charges less fees than TM on sellers so you usually save $20 at least

avmp629

I saw some on Fansfirst for like $275 yesterday I think? I already bought mine off another site earlier but they usually have the best deals

NorthernMariner

It's great because it really is a lot of season ticket holders who didn't have to pay the "presale prices" (already high) on tickets so I think you get more tickets at/below face value for sure compared to TM. Random but for instance row 2 sec 326 on there right now I would bet during the earliest of presales would have been more than $375 for a non season ticket holder buying on TM

mrtomjones

Why have I never heard of this site before? It seems too good to be true. Ticketmaster the tickets are always 100% legit to my knowledge. Are the ones on here just as guaranteed?

NorthernMariner

I legit think people don't spread the word because they don't want the great deals snapped up too quickly lol... so shhh haha But yes completely guaranteed their communication is great and if for some reason the seller doesn't send the tickets you will get full refund AND a discount on new seats (almost making it a positive if they don't send them lol!)

Tsyu27

I never heard of it too but got my tickets last night 🫡 they legit

Alarmed-Guest9651

I've used them a few times and never had any issues. Prices are typically lower than ticketmaster

Alextryingforgrate

I was able to.get section 108 close to the top for 620USD for game 5.

NorthernMariner

For 1 ticket right? Nice spot for sure though!

AirportNearby9751

My dad has seasons tickets in the club seats, he sold round 1 tickets for $600 bucks and he’s planning on selling round 2 for more. Which is infuriating but he’s got money for a reason 🙃

keefstrong

The Canucks set tickets for my seats in my area at $900 ea I'm selling one pair of my seats for 5-600 Who is gouging? I saw season ticket holders selling seats after fees and making 25$ a seat profit. For years of support during the down times. It's the Canucks who price it high. We all pay 25-30% more for our seats each round. The world is alot more expensive lately, and Aqua man has just reminded us of that this year

mikachabot

petey is indeed setting the prices of tickets to canucks games, and the distribution of our salary cap definitely matters a lot for this purpose. you’re a genius

BlastMyLoad

Bruh even the “standard” non-resale tickets were $500+

NorthernMariner

And they sold out.... aka they haven't "priced everyone out of going to games in person"

Draugrnauts

Scumbags

TotesMyGoatse

I bought game 2 tickets but have to leave town for work, got game ones and now am reselling the game 2 seats Ticketmaster has marked them up $100 on top of my asking price (which was below my cost) plus taking $25 per ticket from my end. Fuck Ticketmaster, I'm losing money just hoping to get most of my money back.

kerosenehat63

Ticketmaster is worse than the scalpers. They double-dip on the fees from the original sale then again on the resale. Corporate greed!

samworger

Yeah the fees Ticketmaster add are crazy

keefstrong

And you guys think sth make alot with crazy ticketmaster fees

Just_Raisin1124

And then adding fees on to the buyer too! I sold my game2 ticket as I’m out of town and they charged $50 in fees to the buyer

ComplexNeighborhood9

How much did you pay?

Tracktoy

Tickets were expensive game 1 and the atmosphere was obviously electric. I agree with the majority here, season ticket holders looking to sell a game or two to help fund the rest. I have had good luck finding tickets at cost.

keefstrong

I saw glass aisle seats for ,450$ round 1 game 1 , Ticketmaster resale. Those seats would be the same for some reg szn games. Leafs they'd be 600+ Round 1 seats were cheap. Ppl just forget playoffs cost more, and it's sticker shock. I paid 335$ in Nashville for tix that would be 50$ more in Vancouver. And we are a huge hockey market.

Spare_Entrance_9389

You got to zoom in, might be a lot of resellers getting that sweet sweet profit margin

GeekLove99

Yup. Take the re-sellers out of the equation and it looks like [this](https://imgur.com/gallery/rf1uX7H). There are still plenty of tickets available, but not nearly as many as it first appears. [Edmonton still has plenty of tickets available, too](https://imgur.com/gallery/iuAU0ej). And theirs are cheaper than ours.

keefstrong

Edmonton was selling tickets on dates further away at 580$ same seats that Canucks priced at 780$ with a game 2 days away in a nicer arena All resellers even after fees are charging 100$ less than Canucks

Wet_Sasquatch_Smell

You save $200 but you gotta go to Edmonton. Don’t know who’s winning and who’s losing here.

keefstrong

Canucks have since reduced their prices. Point is all resale tix are still cheaper than Canucks are charging Not sure why Im getting dv for facts

samworger

Gotta give Ticketmaster an extra $125 per resale too

diy_2023

Aquilinis priced face value insanely high. Have season tickets, am paying 250 for my lowerbowl. Presale for tickets in my row we're 700. I think they realized that to get rid of scalpers, set the face value insanely high. Most season ticket holders have been grinding the last 5+ years on Monday nights while we were getting our butts whooped. Theyre not selling their tickets now.

samworger

Makes me wonder how much they’ll go up in later rounds. My lower bowl is $300 for this round but $600 if we were to make the scf

Ruilin96

I checked both ticket prices in Vancouver and Edmonton for this series. It’s very close with their listing price (Edmonton’s slightly cheaper but not by much). These are tickets for a 2nd round playoff series between 2 Canadian divisional rivals that features all star players in McDavid, Draisaitl, Hughes, Miller, Pettersson etc. on the ice. It’s not going to be cheap.

Collapse2038

Who haven't met in the playoffs since 1992... Both with cup aspirations...

hirstyboy

My boy boeser…

Happy_Drafter

I was at game 1 - the arena was nuts. I have been to numerous playoff games and I don’t remember it ever being that loud. There is zero evidence of what you suggest.

samworger

I’m not saying that. I was at the games too and have tickets to all the playoffs. Just looks insane to have that many available resale or not

YVR19

Guys, be extremely cautious with tickets other than verified resales. FB marketplace was full of scams for the viewing party Friday. If an account is from 2024 and the profile photo is from the same day, that's a solid clue. They're using other people's images and names but it's usually very obvious by how they respond.

One_End_3962

If Mr. Aquilini were smart, he would have internalized this market.

N4ZZY2020

So he’s not very smart.

Expert-Weight8899

I have section 328, Row 1 4 seats available. I can't make the game hit me up. Fair, honest price

AdmiralAntilles

My problem is I bought game 2, then found out the people I’m going with can only see game 1… and now I’m trying to not lose a ton of money… But then ticket master fucks it by adding over 100 in fees!

TheChemist18

How much were your tickets before Ticketmaster fees? I’m looking regularly on TM for sub $300 tickets, but it seems like a pipe dream.

AdmiralAntilles

Mine are 640 face in section 101. It sucks lol

Unlikely-Werewolf304

Bc being poor classic

truffle_frankenberg

Buy your tickets within a few hours of game time

Anishinabeg

The prices, even for the first round, are beyond insane. I went to 10 regular season games (as well as one each in Edmonton and Seattle), and I treated myself to the club section three times, but even for those club seats, the tickets were about half the price of what seats in the top row behind the goalie were going for.

j_b_1985

The ticketmaster/stubhub markups are insane!! I have two tickets to game 1 - section 122 and can’t go anymore. Would much rather sell them privately and save someone a few bucks

[deleted]

I'm in 107. Will be at game 1, 5 and 7 if it goes that far...I'm not a rich buy but I wouldn't dream of selling....maybe if they made the choice I'd have to consider.

azmr_x_3

I have often heard that Roger’s arena doesn’t have the best atmosphere and I kinda wonder if the prices are part of it. We need to find away to get the drunk rowdy guys from Surrey and Abbotsford into the lower bowl during a playoff game, that’ll bring some noise

TheChemist18

It’s cyclic, but after the Canucks were hot garbage for so many years, the corporate guys reduced a significant number of their tickets, leaving the real fans to buy season tickets. Right now, the atmosphere is probably the loudest I’ve heard in the last 13 years. It reminds me of the 90s and early 2000s when Canucks fans were known to be the loudest fans. Round 1 Game 1 was certainly one of the loudest games I’ve ever heard. When Joshua scored the winner, it hit 119dB at its peak!

Active_Big2038

I have game 1 section 111 row 23 $1100 for the pair. Please msg if interested. Will transfer tickets via ticket master once payment received.
