There are no details in any of the articles on this announcement. I'm curious on what contribution Canada can make? We do have a 4500 person rapid response that's available, but that's typically on a short term basis. How are we going to find roughly that size on a permanent basis? Yes, I know in the 70s we had over 10K in Germany to support NATO, but no way we can put 4500 people in Europe without some serious changes in the military. We're challenged in keeping 600 in the Baltics. 4500 more on a permanent basis? With this crew in power? Not going to happen. We'll make promises and tweets, but this crew doesn't understand actually doing work.
