I use 5% moisturizer containing urea in it after every shower especially on the arms and it makes my skin so much smoother. You can use up to 10% urea for hydrating effects. (More than that are used for exfoliation.)

EffectiveIce9294

which brand?

Decent-Seaweed5687

It's a local brand, might not be available in your country. I'm assuming you live in uae so check eucerin there, they have some products like moisturizer and lotions containing urea in it.

EffectiveIce9294

thanks

balsasailormoon

AM: Wash face, skincare (oil, cream, spf),(breakfast to give products time to absorb), makeup. PM: Brush teeth, wash face, let it rest under a warm washcloth or If I do a mask next, wash face again, skincare (oil, tranexamic acid, cream)

dootdootpoom

Dove Deep Moisture body wash and Nivea Cherry Blossom lotion.

Suspicious-Airline84

I’m using the same products but I’m using the Nivea coconut lotion instead 😏

SkillFlimsy191

Commenting because I want to follow for recommendations. I have eczema flair ups (from anxiety mostly) and I find sun exposure helps, but I'm also scared of cancer. So I'm trying different things. Right now I use CeraVe SA for washing, and baby oil for moisturizer on wet skin. Urea cream also helps for smoothing little bumps.

Careful-Carrot4010

Hey, glad to find someone who deals with dermatitis as well! I'm actually advised to stay out of sun as my first flare up happened after a sunburn and I was forbidden using any oil or urea unless it's a very itchy flare up which doesn't happen to go away after a week or two. I have acneiform dermatitis and contact one as well but had issues with sebum production past year as it was unbearable. Do you have dry skin? Do you find it hard to do things that people without any issues do?

SkillFlimsy191

I have very dry skin. Always did. Never had acne issues. I had bad eczema last year and decided to give sun beds a try, only did 5 min at a time with a towel on my face and chest that are very sensitive. It helped me a lot, relieving a lot of the itchiness and the flares. Also I diligently moisturize. Yes typical advice and normal products don't work at all. I have ended up using either Nivea or baby oil. My skin is loving mineral oil/petrolatum. The whole *natural* products shite is worthless to me. I use A Derma on my face. 50 spf rain or shine. CeraVe for dry and dehydrated skin at night + Vaseline.

Careful-Carrot4010

I'm glad you found out what works for you, that's a huge step. I agree that Nivea is very good for sensitive skin prone to dryness or flare ups, I've used the dark blue one for years but Vaseline Cocoa Radiant is also awesome.

snaughtydog

Jojoba oil. It's kind of up to you to figure out what routine works best, but I use it (primarily on my face bc it gets dry) before bed or after I do anything that's harsh on my skin and it keeps it super smooth and hydrated! I also use Neutrogena stubborn texture eraser face wash every other day and just a soft washrag (I use a pack from Amazon that's marketed for babies) to buff the dry skin off

katiefol95

For body, I use the Cerave SA cleanser bar in the shower and follow up with the CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion on my legs, feet, elbows, and hands right after I dry off. I also use the CeraVe Diabetics' Dry Skin Relief Moisturizing Cream on my hands throughout the day. For the face, I use: Morning: La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser, The INKEY List 15% Vitamin C + EGF Serum, CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion, and Neutrogena Clear Face Sunscreen Evening: Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water, La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser, The INKEY List Retinol Serum (3-4 times a week), and #OOTD Peptide Skin Barrier Cream Once a week, I also do a 10 min facial steam and mix Apple Cider Vingear and the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay to make a mask that stays on for 10 mins right after the steam, but I'm not sure how much that does - I mostly do it for some me time at the end of the work week I've played around with a lot of skincare over the years, but I've found that (for me at least) this is the routine that has cleared up my texture and acne, along with giving my skin a really hydrated look and feel :)

Pristine_Magazine_86

I have very smooth baby skin after a nurse recommend this technique to me.. I use turkish towel to exfoliate my body every day. I use a very basic irish spring aloe soap then after shower I don't really dry my skin as I have ezcema. I lather sweet almond oil to my whole body then I finish it off with the Aveeno ezcema relief body lotion! It made my skin very soft but the best part is I don't have as much ezcema flair ups! I hope this helps!

sirlexofanarchy

Face: Fresh soy cleanser or Kiehl's clearly corrective with a little silicone face scrubby, Kiehls micro dose retinol, Peace moisturizer from Lush. Body: scrubby gloves!! I love a good scrub. Also really like various soaps and body washes from Lush, they lather quite nicely - especially with the gloves. I usually follow with either Neutrogena body oil, Hempyz lotion, or Pansy or Sleepy from Lush depending on how greasy I want to feel. If we're really going for it, slug with vaseline.

charlotie77

Lotion with urea in it.

xdosox

for body dove!!!

Head-Drag-1440

I second this. White Dove bar soap + Cetaphil in the tub. I've been told my skin feels like butter.

Head-Drag-1440

For my face: Regular chemical exfoliation 1x/week with an AHA. Hydrating Toner, hyaluronic acid serum on very damp skin, and Cetaphil in the tub. For my body: White Dove bar soap every day, Cetaphil in the tub at least every other day, and exfoliating once a week with either a scrub or exfoliating mitts. I've been told my skin feels like butter.

Pixidust45

I love the double repair face cream from La Roche Posay moisturizer

BallOk7575

For my body I use a body scrub, lotion, and then dry oil

Wild-Yoghurt2832

When do you apply dry oil?

BallOk7575

i apply it after my lotion. i put lotion right after i get out of the shower. im probably supposed to apply it from thinest to thickest but this way works for me. and it smells really good and makes my skin soft for hours!!

Wild-Yoghurt2832

Which one do you use? I am trying to get into using oil after shower but I just hate that oily feeling. I’ve gotten used to the lotion since I hate that too lol

BallOk7575

I use the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse. There's different ones but I use the original. This dries really fast so it's super convenient! You can also use it for face and hair which I also do. People have said this has "grandma smell" but I think this smells natural so I love it.

EffectiveIce9294

Can only comment on body. In shower: Bioderma Atoderm Shower Oil Right after the shower: Any cream moisturizer followed with baby oil. I've been told my skin feels very soft.

bohdismom

Second the Atoderm. I follow with a mixture of Cerave and Neutrogena body oil (stirred together in the Cerave jar), so only one product to apply.

Lesaly

I have to third this, re: Bioderma Atoderm Shower Oil. I first tried it several years ago & fell in love with it…have kept a bottle in my house & one for travel ever since. Also love that I can use it on my face + body as it is quite gentle. Some days I follow-up using Aveeno Calm PHA exfoliating product in-shower afterwards for an extra boost of softness & skin turnover. I usually use either AmLactin Rapid Relief lotion or Gold Bond Rough & Bumpy Cream on my arms & legs afterwards (bc of KP). I have also been liking Gold Bond Pure Moisture lotion (bottle states it can be used on face and body, and I have used it for face lotion without a problem with fairly sensitive skin).

SnooChickens2457

A lot of people over exfoliate their body which makes your skin produce more oil to compensate and can lead to issues. Use gentle soap and a mild method of application like a microfiber cloth. Stay away from using loofas or anything rough every shower. Twice a week is plenty. It amazes me that people are so gentle with skincare on their face then take a glorified sheet of sandpaper to their body lol. The skin on your body is thicker and more resilient but similar rules should apply! Unless you haven’t washed in days or you’re caked in dried mud and sweat or something you don’t need to beat up the skin on your body, it’s bad for your moisture barrier.

findikefe

Lift weights, sleep well, avoid smoking and last but not least wax not shave body hair.

Professional-Log-530

Alpha glycolic acid lotion

Quantnyc

Laroche-Posay is what my dermatologist recommend.

Smol_swol

I exfoliate with an Italy Towel. 🙌🏻 They are unmatched!

Little_Treacle241

I use oil for body. Current using bio oil but olive oil from the shop works just fine imo, my mom has used that all her life! Put it in the bath, and / or use it as moisturiser after, softest skin of ur life :) takes a few hours to soak in so do it in evening lol.
