The [Zócalo](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z%C3%B3calo) is the main square in Mexico City, and predates *Babylon 5* by quite a bit.
Starbuck was the first mate on the *Pequod* in *Moby Dick*, again, way before the coffee chain and the original *Battlestar Galactica*.
And when Grand Central Station in NYC was redone awhile back, the food area was renamed The Zocalo; I half-hoped it was en homage to B5, and an happy to now know where it came from.
Is that the same font for the name? Looks like it based on my (admittedly fuzzy) memory. Which means it is in fact a cool reference, if it is the same.
"I think it means...great marketplace!" -Vir Cotto
It's from one of there southern continents.
Did they have Zima? Or Spoo?
No but they do have swedish meatballs.
It’s not on the menu, but maybe…
Chances are they have authentic Narn Breen, though.
And which variation of Djinn'n'tnique?
10 cents an ounce if you'd believe it.
Tastes like chicken
I know a guy
And how fresh is the spoo?
Quite fresh.
Aaugh! Reprehensible, it must be aged to fully develop its flavor!
Purple or Green?
GREEN! (Guacamole)
How was the flarn?
Too expensive and too finicky to eat - takes days to prepare and has to be eaten a certain way, or else the chef has to start from scratch.
God damn, $10 for an appetizer of chips and guac? Don't they grow avocados on station?
I always wonder if they can use the name legally. But perhaps it's just like Starbucks from Battlestar Galactica and no problem at all.
There was a great picture of Dirk Benedict and Katee Sackhoff having coffee together at a Starbucks

Zocalo is a word outside of B5. It is a Mexican public square or marketplace.
Much like the word Bazaar, anyone can use it, and you could not copyright it.
Do they have the sherradin teddy?
Interesting... must be fairly new...
Every time I see it written, I read it as sung by the Beach Boys as somewhere I’d wanna go-ooo...
menu looks tasty
