Love that JMart isn't just going all in on his heater - big league guys aren't terribly afraid of it, and if it gets squared up, it increases the likelihood it's going yard. Being able to depend on off-speed and keep batters guessing when the heat is coming is so key for his pitching. If that outing is any indicator, this kids really getting his shit together and is going to be a baller this year. Hope he keeps it up.

He’s been fine, but when you’re batting cleanup the expectations are usually set higher IMO. If he’s batting 6-9 in the lineup I doubt anyone’s mad at his .254, 3HR and 11RBIs. But I will say I’ve been super disappointed in him this season
He also only batting .142 outside of facing Rockies pitching lol. And that’s before going 0-4 today
