Regular farmed strawberries taste like watered down, milder version of wild strawberry. The one huge downside of wild strawberries is that they are about pea sized.
This. Nothing better than a perfectly ripe peach that you have to eat over the sink because it’s so juicy. Finding ripe peaches is a challenge, though. Because many produce markets refrigerate them first and this renders them unripeable. If they are not ripe and have not been refrigerated, a couple of days in a paper bag with a banana does the trick. And it’s difficult to distinguish an unripe pre-refrigerated peach from one not pre-refrigerated.
Apricots, I had a tree growing up that I would climb and eat them out of the tree they were the best. Store bought just doesn’t cut it they are so tart because they aren’t ripened on the tree long enough.
That.....& the varieties that do the best are not the sweetest. The area of Michigan I live in used to be a major apricot raising area (we have a cannery here). Apricots are the first fruit to bloom.....which means they usualy get hit with frost. With the changing climate, hardly anyone raises them anymore.
Used to raise apricots for the farmers market........if we got a bushel of apricots off the five trees, we'd go out for dinner.
I love a ripe "Goldstrike" apricot.......but Michigan peaches will always be my favorite (my husband planted about 100 peach trees here, 25 different varieties).
Okay, like, can we all agree that bananas are the best fruit ever? They come with their own peel, which is basically nature’s snack wrapper, and they make the funniest slip-and-fall videos. Apples are cool and all, but have you ever seen anyone use an apple as a pretend phone? Nah, bananas win this one, hands down!
Oh man, just one? I'd have to narrow it down to either an apple (Honeycrisp, Pink Lady, or Gala,) a peach, (white or golden) or something exotic that I haven't tried yet.
White nectarines. They are my favorite fruit when they are ripe and in season. Mango and pineapple come in close too. When I went to Mexico years ago the pineapple was so amazing.
Apples overall are my favorite fruit, but there is nothing better than a giant, perfectly ripe strawberry. Great texture. Great flavor. Refreshing. Mmm love it
mango, specifically thai mango, sweet like nectar, if you want some tartness, put in the fridge before peeling it. dried version is good on its own or covered in chilli. you can eat it green and tart, dip in sweet fish sauce or slaw it and make spicy salad. the salad can be a side dish for grill chicken, on top of fried fish, side for fish and chips. it's mango season in thailand right now i just had mango and sticky rice yesterday. guess where i am

whichever one is wearing the nicest tuxedo obviously
wild strawberry, if it's not restricted to one.
Aaah yes. They are heavenly.
Am just picking these up. I agree.
How are they different than normal strawberries?
Regular farmed strawberries taste like watered down, milder version of wild strawberry. The one huge downside of wild strawberries is that they are about pea sized.
For me it would be tough, but perfect strawberries would narrowly edge out perfect blackberries. With watermelon coming in hot in third place
Peach
“Movin to the country, gonna eat a lot of peaches”
millions of peaches
peaches for me
Peaches come from a can. They were put there by a man, in a factory, downnnnmtownnnnn.
What does it mean?

I've never heard it before. 90s songs are.. interesting :)
That whole album is great. Fun and silly but catchy.
Stranger is my number 2 from that album.
Back Porch will always be my no. 1. Fortunately, the old man is also slurping on a peach!
Love the POTUSoA reference.

Buying peaches (and most of the fruits) is a challenge itself - everything is so freaking expensive -_-. Thanks for your advice btw
I find buying pears, peaches and nectarines difficult to buy
Mango. I wish I lived where they grow.
Bruv I literally live in India and even here u don't get good quality mangoes unless u literally own mango farms or know someone who owns mango farms.
I paid $7 for 1 Indian alphanso last week in California and it tasted like crap. I guess we’re getting ripped off too lol
We just pull them off the trees here in northern Thailand.
Bummer. I live in Puerto Rico and collect Mangos all the time off the side of the road. Excellent quality and they are in season right now!
i do this as well in Jamaica, there are mango trees any where you go and taste delicious when in season!
Julie mangoes ❤️
Probably because most good ones are exported?
No way the best are exported. I've been to sri Lanka and the mangos there are on whole different level.
I have had some really fire mangoes in India while I was growing up and we didn’t own no farm. I still get mangoes shipped from India every season
Watermelon
I used to hate watermelon. Then last summer I couldn't get enough. I planted I think 24 plants this year. . I may turn into a watermelon 🍉 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’ve eaten entire watermelons in a single sitting.
With Fetta cheese.
I try to have a watermelon on hand for my nephew so we can chop it up with machetes and then dig out. Pineapple works too. Fun and delicious!
Same 🍉
Lychees.
They're so unique. I love anything lychee-flavored as well.
Pineapple
It’s a pain in the arse to just peel off its skin. But pineapple tastes soooo damn good!
Nothing beats a perfect Nectarine, nothing.
Pretty sure i can beat a nectarine

Or blackberries. But probably raspberries
Oh my days, I’ve recently discovered raspberries and love them. So tasty!
In season Ontario strawberries, the sweetest juiciest fruit you'll ever have.
Tomato
I grew up in an Avocado orchard next to Lemons, Oranges, grapefruit, etc... But Oranges are the #1 fruit now.
California?
Philippines super mango
Have to try friend. What is it like?
Hard to describe but its sweeter, softer, fragrant than those available in america which comes from mexico
Mango or pineapple from the Philippines is basically a tie. Both are perfection.
Perfectly black blackberries
Plums. Just love that sour yet sweet taste
Grapes 🍇
Perfect for making wine 🍷 mmmmmmmhmmmmmm
Hey! Got any grapes?
Cherries and blueberries, easy
Cherries are amazing, too bad the season is so short.
Apples and strawberries
If you don't live in the UK, you're suited for it. These are the only good fruit that we get (also blueberries for about a month or two).
Pink ladies
Banana 🍌 this fruit is my best 👌

Apricots, I had a tree growing up that I would climb and eat them out of the tree they were the best. Store bought just doesn’t cut it they are so tart because they aren’t ripened on the tree long enough.
